Chapter 461: Hard Rock City
Jiu Shen slowly opened his eyes.
Ignoring the crowd from the Heavenly Sword Tower, he scanned the surroundings using his spiritual vision. Surprisingly, his spiritual vision did not work as it did in Nuar. Jiu Shen did not become weak, instead, there was a power that prevented his spiritual perception from moving any further. This was the limit of the world itself, meaning, everyone's strength would be much weaker here!

It was night time in this place and the sky had three moons of different sizes. Everyone also saw a floating island with three towers on it. “Where are we?” Theia approached Jiu Shen. He inspected their surroundings, but he could not identify their current location. His spiritual power was also weaker than Jiu Shen, so the scope of his spiritual vision was limited.
Jiu Shen glanced at the floating island above them and the ruins of buildings everywhere. He frowned with an unconvinced look. “If I remember correctly, there should be a small sect here, but even after using my spiritual vision, I cannot see the surrounding buildings. Maybe I was wrong.” He muttered to himself while walking towards the broken debris.
Jiu Shen crouched down and looked at the rusty name plaque. Although some words seemed illegible, Jiu Shen could still read his words.

“No... This is the place, but the sect that should be here has already been destroyed. And seeing how old this rusty name plaque is, this sect has been destroyed for millions upon millions of years.” The materials used to build this building were very special and did not rot much even after millions of years.
Theia took the rusty name plaque from Jiu Shen's hand. “Blue Wave Sect... This is the sect that built its sect building near the sea!”
He finally recalled an unclear memory from his past life. This was a peace-loving sect that isolated itself from the public eye. He wondered how the Blue Wave Sect was destroyed. Did it fail to survive the ravages of time or did someone destroy it?
“True. This place used to be the ocean.” Jiu Shen murmured while standing. He then glanced at Ren Shuang and said. “Tell the disciples to build a temporary camp here, while the elders should check the area for possible dangers.”
Ren Shuang nodded and immediately told everyone.
“Theia, I will look for someone and request information about the status quo of the Primordial God Realm at this time. It seems like many things happen when we die.” Jiu Shen has no idea what happens here when they leave, so it is better to look for information first.
Jiu Shen went and stomped on the place with memories of his past life. From what he could remember, there was a city a thousand miles north of the Blue Wave Sect. It was a major trading city with millions of people living in it.
“I hope Blue Rift City is safe ..” Jiu Shen muttered to himself as he used his space manipulation ability to speed up his flight.
Jiu Shen landed in front of the large wooden gate and saw a long line of people entering and exiting the city. There were over a dozen human guards wearing plate armor observing the crowd with eagle-like gazes. This guard was a Nascent Divine Realm expert!
Jiu Shen could directly fly into the city, but he did not want to cause any trouble on their first day back. Moreover, his strength was not what it used to be, so it was better not to stand out. There might be a powerful expert inside, so it was good to be careful.
“5 Stone Gods to enter Hard Rock City.” A guard said to Jiu Shen in a firm and monotonous voice.
Jiu Shen took out five pieces of the God's Stone and gave them to the guards. The guards then gave way for him after he paid the entrance.
“Hard Rock City? What the hell's going on? I have to find someone and ask what happened over the last millions of years.” Jiu Shen walks around the city in search of pubs. It was the best place to ask for information because everything there could be bought with money.
This city is not only inhabited by humans. There are also people of other races. Everyone seems to live in harmony despite the huge difference in their appearance.
After walking for thirty minutes, Jiu Shen found a pub and entered it. Upon entering, he noticed that this place was quite popular as there were quite a few customers present. Everyone was busy chatting with their respective groups and no one seemed to notice Jiu Shen.
“One bottle of your best wine ..” Jiu Shen told an old humanoid bartender who was wiping a wine glass using a clean white cloth. This person had dark green skin and he was wearing formal clothes. He looked unique and friendly, but Jiu Shen would not be fooled by this.
Jiu Shen had already sensed that this old bartender was the strongest among everyone within this pub. He was an expert of the Mystic God Realm! This kind of expert could already become a master in Nuar, but here, he was only a bartender.
The old bartender glanced at Jiu Shen for a moment before taking out a bottle of wine from the shelf behind him. He then placed the bottle in front of Jiu Shen along with a clean wine glass.
“Sky Jade's. 50 Stone Gods.” The old man nodded slowly.
Jiu Shen took out many God Stones and gave them to the old man. He then asked. “Can I ask?”
The old man raised his head and looked at Jiu Shen. “My answer is not free.” He answers.
Jiu Shen smiled and took out a small sack containing the God's Stone. “I have no shortage of money ..”
