Chapter 6 Able to Blanc
Once strengthened by the system, the store items were basically immune to any attack. Jiu Shen did not even need to move anymore.
Jiu Shen's smile looked scary at the time, but they didn't know that Jiu Shen only grinned because the fatty looked so cute after he fell face down first on the floor.
Jiu Shen adjusted his sitting position which made the veteran mercenaries take a step back warily. Who could blame them after seeing the plump fate of the mercenaries?
“Listen, I don't have enough time to wait for you guys here. So if you don't want to order anything. then get out of my sight!”.
Their lips twitched hearing his arrogant words, but they also did not dare to show their anger because this hot-blooded shopkeeper would actually kill them on the spot.
After seeing the fate of their fat friend, they thought the man in front of them was many times stronger than their boss, Scar. His strength should at least be a 7th rank Emperor!
Such power would amaze anyone, and to think that such a figure actually decided to set up a nameless shop in a less crowded place in the capital.
Jiu Shen was not really angry, he was just annoyed that the time of his cultivation was wasted by these mercenaries. They had not even ordered anything, so he became even more annoyed.
Boss Scar forced a smile and glanced at the blackboard. His lips trembled after seeing the unreasonable price of the wine. He could not help but glare at Liu Xiufeng who brought them here. The latter shrugged and walked towards the terrifying shopkeeper.
“Wine Master Jiu Shen, forgive my colleagues' actions. They just don't realize the greatness of your wine. Can I have a bottle of Ables Blanc? I already tried Mystic Jade wine two days ago, so I want to try something new.this time.” Liu Xiufeng smiled considering the taste of the Mystic Jade Jiu Shen.
Boss Scar was confused at Liu Xiufeng. The man was known to be a frugal man, but his current actions were the opposite of what was known about him. Except. Unless the wine was really as effective as he said.
“Wine Master Jiu Shen, I also want to order a bottle of Ables Blanc. And can I also order twelve Mystic Jade jars for my brothers here?” Scar spoke softly. Even if his wine was not as effective as Liu Xiufeng's words, he still wanted to keep on good terms with this mysterious wine master.
The mercenaries behind Scar looked at him gratefully, though, they did not mind taking out a few True Crystals.
Boss Scar smiled at them. He felt that he treated them right because he was the one who brought them here.
Jiu Shen nodded his head calmly and stood up from his seat. He then went inside the storage area where his wine was stored.
He used his true energy to bring fourteen wine jars before exiting the wine cellar. Twelve jars of Mystic Jade and two jars of Ables Blanc. He then walked with an unperturbed expression towards where the mercenary was sitting.
Liu Xiufeng licked his lips after seeing the wine floating around Jiu Shen. The mercenaries ignored his high-profile display in controlling his true energy and only focused their gaze on the wine. Even Scar was excited after smelling the fragrant aroma from the wine.
Jiu Shen placed the wine on the mercenary table. He also gave them one silver cup each.
“This is your order, enjoy.” He spoke nonchalantly while finding a random chair to sit on.
The mercenary's nose twitched after inhaling a strong fruity scent. Liu Xiufeng was familiar with this smell. This was the scent of the wine he tasted two days ago, Mystic Jade. He also smelled a fresh scent that made him relax his body.
‘This smell is supposed to be Ables Blanc. I wonder what it's like. Since it was made by Wine Master Jiu Shen, it shouldn't be that bad, given how delicious Mystic Jade was. And he even gave a much higher price than his other wines.’ Liu Xiufeng thought to himself as he opened the wine jar slowly.
After opening the jar, a wave of sea wind attacked his nostrils. He felt like he was swimming in the deepest part of the Heavenly Wind Sea.
“This is..”.
Scar hurriedly opened his wine jar after seeing Liu Xiufeng's exaggerated expression. The same expression was seen on his face after inhaling the scent of Ables Blanc.
“This smell... This is the honey produced by Oyster Ables. What the fuck?! Such a rare ingredient was actually used to brew this wine?!” Scar was shocked.
Ables Oyster was a 5th rank Spirit sea beast, but it was difficult to hunt these rare beasts as they could only be found in the deepest parts of the Heavenly Wind Sea.
He then glanced at Jiu Shen who was sitting in his chair with his eyes closed. Jiu Shen opened his eyes after feeling someone's gaze on him. He glanced expressionlessly at Scar who surprised the mercenary.
‘A strong feeling this guy has!’
“The egg was made using honey produced by Oyster Ables as its main ingredient. Several other rare herbs and fruits were also added to accentuate the aroma and taste of the wine. As for how to make it, I can not tell you.” Jiu Shen spoke clearly. He knew that they would ask about his wine ingredients, but he did not want to tell anyone how he made them.
