Chapter 80 Defender Determination Duanmu
“Go? Do you think you have the power to rule us, you old man?!” The long black-robed man laughed disdainfully as he glared at Defender Duanmu with his eyes opened.
Defender Duanmu frowned as he thought to himself. ‘Just who are these people? They are not even afraid even after knowing our identity. I can't even tell the strength of the person leading them, but the people who were with him were at least at the 5th rank Spirit realm with some at the 6th rank King realm. It would be bad if we had a direct confrontation with them. How troublesome!’
Defender Duanmu glanced at the imperial guards behind him and ordered in an undeniable tone. “Go bring the fifth princess and fourth prince back to the imperial palace! I'll keep them here!”
The imperial guards were shocked by the order but upon seeing the stern gaze of Defender Duanmu, they nodded their heads and saluted with grim expressions.
“You can rest assured, Defender Duanmu! Even if we have to sacrifice our lives, we will do so as long as the fifth princess and the fourth prince can return to the imperial palace unscathed!” The leader of the imperial guards said with a stern look.
Defender Duanmu nodded his head seriously at his people after hearing those words. He then turned around to look at the enemy while releasing the true essence in his body without any constraints.
The imperial guards captured the fourth prince and the fifth princess from the carriage and left hurriedly without looking back.
“Ho? Some of you, go after them! Don't let them get away alive!” The long black-robed man ordered his men.
“I won't let you hurt them!” Defender Duanmu shouted as he unleashed a hard blow to the opposing group.
He had to buy as much time as possible for the fifth princess and the fourth prince to arrive safely at the imperial palace.
“You don't have the ability to stop them, old thing!” The black-robed man said as he blocked Defender Duanmu's attack with a sword.
“Bum!”
A violent eruption resounded after Defender Duanmu's punch hit the man's sword. Dust and strong winds covered the center of the attack.
When the dust particles subsided, the black-robed man could look completely unharmed even after receiving the heaviest attack from Defender Duanmu.
“So the defenders of this Silver Wing Empire are weak? How pathetic!” The man said in a mocking voice.
Defender Duanmu was a peak rank 7 Emperor realm expert, but his attack did not even leave visible injuries to his opponent!
The difference in their strength was obvious.
“Enough bullshit and kill me if you can!” Defender Duanmu looked at his opponent grimly.
The black-robed man smiled. “If that's the case, then I will no longer waste my time here. Accept my attack!”
Following those words, the black-robed man brandished his sword, producing a strong wind that threatened to slice anything that blocked his path.
“Attack of the Sky Destruction Spear!”
Defender Duanmu aimed his spear at the opponent's throat and completely ignored the attack aimed at him.
The strong wind left dozens of wounds on the old man's arm, but he gritted his teeth and continued to push his spear forward with an indomitable will.
“Crazy old base!” The black-robed man cursed as he fended off Defender Duanmu's attack with his sword. He then kicked the latter's stomach, sending the old man flying to the ground.
“Proudly!” A large crater was formed after the fall of the old defender.

“You're old enough to survive that kick, but for how long can you stand? Hahaha!” The black-robed man laughed.
“Only who... you? What...your destination came...to our Silver Wing Kingdom?” Defender Duanmu asked after wiping away the traces of blood coming out of his mouth.
The black-robed man grinned and replied in disdain. “The dead have no right to know anything! Just shut up and accept your death!”
After which, the man raised his sword with two hands and slashed towards Defender Duanmu.
The latter immediately rolled to the side to dodge the attack.
“Bang!”
Countless pieces of stone rubble flew through the air after the slash hit the solid ground.
Defender Duamu held his spear tightly and prepared himself for the next attack from his opponent. ‘Is this where I died? What will happen to our Silver Wing Kingdom after my death? No no!!
