Chapter 477: The Fear of Elder Vincent
The armored guards opened the golden gate and let the people from the Shadow God Sect enter.
Elder Vincent and his group walked through the marble street with wide smiles on their faces. They looked towards the crowd with triumphant expressions.
“Eh? I hope for a good fight! I can't believe that the people from the dragon building are cowards! Do they really plan to compromise?”
“I expect many of them, in the end, they are still afraid of the power of the Shadow God Sect. Nothing to see here anymore, we have to go..”.
More and more people immediately left after seeing the sudden turn of events. They were disappointed by the response of the dragon building.
Elder Vincent tried to put a calm expression on his face, but when he turned his gaze towards the garden, his eyes widened like a plate. Now that he was up close, he discovered that all the rumors about the existence of a Heavenly God level spiritual plant in this place were all true! He felt his heart beating fast after realizing the value of the spiritual plant. He then turned his head and gestured for a disciple to approach him.
When the disciple saw the Elders movements, he stepped forward and listened attentively.
“Go somewhere far away and tell the Sect Master using the communication crystal about the existence of a Heavenly God level spiritual plant here. Tell him to bring everyone from the sect. We have to get all this stuff before others can pick it up!” Elder Vincent whispered using his spiritual power.
The disciple was surprised when he heard this, but he nodded his head earnestly and left.
Seeing that the armored guards did not see anything strange, elder Vincent smiled evilly.
‘I have to apologize in advance! It is your fault for having such a valuable resource without adequate support! You can't blame me for this! Ha ha ha!’ Elder Vincent thought to himself when a mocking expression briefly appeared on his face, but he hurriedly hid it to prevent others from knowing his intentions.
Elder Vincent forced himself to turn away from the spiritual plant. He then followed the leader of the armored guards and entered the dragon building. He could not help but admire the design of the building. Even their sect headquarters paled in comparison to this dragon building. ‘I want to know what kind of materials they use to build this beautiful building ..’
When the group stepped into the dragon building, they were dumbfounded. They were so shocked that they almost jumped in surprise.
Elder Vincent quickly calmed his astonished heart. He did not believe that such wealth could be found in one place! It seems that the owner must be a wasteful person!
“A table has been ordered for your group. Please follow me.” The leader of the armored guards muttered and led them to a much larger table. This table can hold more than twenty people! However, there was a silver-haired human sitting quietly in the most prominent chair. He leaned back in his chair with a lazy expression on his face. These humans did not even seem to be aware of their arrival.
Elder Vincent observed Jiu Shen from head to toe. After looking at him for a while, he was a little surprised when he realized that he could not sense the other party's cultivation level. He furrowed his brows as he thought deeply to himself.
Jiu Shen turned his gaze to the leader of the armored guards and nodded his head calmly as he said. “Good. You can go.”
The leader of the armored guards bowed to Jiu Shen before he left.
Jiu Shen then turned his gaze towards Elder Vincent and gestured for his group to sit down. “Take your seat.” He said it in a calm voice.
Elder Vincent felt that this human being was abnormal. No matter how he tried to gauge the man's strength, he could not feel even an ounce of strength coming from him. It felt as if he was looking at a normal human being. However, Elder Vincent did not let this fool him. This man is strong! That was the only explanation he could think of as to why he could not sense his strength.
Elder Vincent thought that Jiu Shen had something to say, however, a few minutes had passed, but the man remained silent after letting them sit down. He furrowed his brows and suddenly felt a premonition. ‘Who is this guy's name again? Is that Jiu Shen?’
Elder Vincent coughed lightly and spoke. “Grand Wine Jiu Shen, do you have anything to say to us?”
Jiu Shen lazily turned his gaze towards Elder Vincent. He smiled mysteriously as he replied. “Didn't you call for reinforcements? I waited for them to come here so I could destroy all of you in one fell swoop.”
Elder Vincent smiled stiffly. The feeling of foreboding he felt earlier increased when he saw the smile on Jiu Shen's face.
“You must be joking, Mr. Wine Jiu Shen.” Elder Vincent let out a dry laugh, but Jiu Shen's expression remained the same. From the looks of it, the man did not lie! Is he angry?! Their Sect Master was a Heavenly God Realm expert!
“No. No. gabe. No. gabe. You called your Sect Master, right? I've heard your words outside. You even specifically ordered that disciple to tell your Sect Master about the Heavenly God level spiritual plant in my garden.” Jiu Shen changed his sitting position. He put one of his legs on top of the other and glanced at Elder Vincent with a grin.
Hearing this, Elder Vincent's eyes widened in fear. He used spiritual power when he commanded his disciple earlier! How did this person hear it?! Is he also a Heavenly God Realm expert?!
He finally realized that he was so screwed!
