Legend of the Heavenly Swordsman

Legend of the Heavenly Swordsman
Ch. 100 - A Decision

Fu Chen continued to train with Li Chun for three consecutive days. During that time he has grown rapidly and realized every mistake he made so far.

So far Fu Chen had mended his relationship with Li Chun and had frankly addressed him as a teacher. Li Chun was quite satisfied with this, generally not many young people received scathing criticism from him but Fu Chen was a little different.

In Li Chun's eyes, Fu Chen was a young man who had an open mindset of his rapid development as well as beyond Li Chun's expectations, but Li Chun never praised Fu Chen in the slightest for fear that the child would quickly settle for his achievements.

Meanwhile, Sin Lou and Kyoto's absorption also ended on the same day. The two brats had now entered the realm of late stage second-rate swordsmen and needed a bit of encouragement to become early stage first-rate swordsmen.

Li Han advised the two not to hurry and suggested adjusting first to the strength they had now.

This needs to be understood by Sin Lou and Kyoto, because there are some events that make a person unable to rise to a higher level because his body is unable to withstand the burden of more qi energy.

Li Han said physical ability also had a great effect on qi absorption, so he asked Sin Lou and Kyoto to adapt first.

"How's the kid developing?" li Han whispered to Li Chun while watching Fu Chen.

Li Chun raised his eyebrows slightly before replying, "I don't know what to say. but the rumors regarding the Tang clan that always gave birth to monsters in every generation seems to be true."

Li Han laughed softly at her, "In case of recollection, isn't that person also a monster?"

"You're right," Li Chun smiled faintly as he imagined his meeting with one of the Tang clan members in the Central continent. "Sadly, the light went out so quickly."

"The brightest light can actually be extinguished faster if not maintained. The words came out of his mouth, but he made them reality." Li Han sighed softly, if given the chance he wanted to meet that person again.

"Teacher.." call Fu Chen who resuscitates Li Chun and Li Han's daydreams.

"What's wrong?" Li Chun replied briefly.

"Can we practice sparring? Sin Lou and Kyoto want to try their new powers, I also want to see how far I've progressed." Fu Chen conveyed the intent of his arrival.

Li Chun slightly raised an eyebrow hearing him "Oh. that's good, do as you like."

"Okay, thanks!" Fu Chen smiled widely then rushed over to Sin Lou and Kyoto.

"Look, his attitude is much more mature now." Li Han smiled gently as he looked at Fu Chen.

"Why don't you train him if you like the kid so much?" Li Chun was a little confused, though he felt that Li Han was more suitable to train Fu Chen because of his intelligence.

"You know how else," Li Han sighed for a moment, "He is very obsessed with the sword, while my best ability is qi control."

Li Han nodded slowly, Fu Chen's talent to become a swordsman was indeed very high but Li Chun realized Fu Chen's qi control ability was also above average. Li Chun became a little curious as to how far the child could develop.

Li Han then moved from his seat. "I'll be back today, Youxin asked me to meet him to discuss something. He said he was going to have a meeting of the elders, I hope this isn't something big."

Li Chun's forehead wrinkled slightly, "Is the sect having problems?"

"Let's go, I'll tell you when the meeting's over." Li Han left Li Chun after saying it.

Meanwhile Fu Chen and his two friends had been preparing to train together. The three young men competed in the usual place where Li Chun trained Fu Chen.

"Don't underestimate us!" Sin Lou drew his sword and darted towards Fu Chen, while Kyoto took a detour to attack from the blind spot.

Fu Chen smiled faintly, "All right let's start!" Fu Chen put up the horses and his hands prepared to pull the sword from its sheath to welcome Sin Lou's attack.

The clash between the metals occurred, the difference in the quality of the weapons as well as the great power made Sin Lou's hand slightly numb. At about the same time Kyoto came from behind and prepared to hold Fu Chen.

"Slow!" said Fu Chen then twisted his body and fought back.

Sin Lou and Kyoto were beaten back by Fu Chen, the two young men took some distance and tried to think of a plan.

"Don't expect you to relax!" Fu Chen immediately shortened the distance with his two friends.

"Siname!" hissing Sin Lou while trying to resist Fu Chen's attack.

As the intensity of the fight increased, Fu Chen gave neither Sin Lou nor Kyoto any chance to think at all. Due to the differences in weapon quality, Sin Lou's and Kyoto's heirlooms slowly began to look thinly cracked over time.

Elder Xiao's residence was still very quiet when elder Xiao Tian returned from his hermitage. It had been almost two weeks since he had gotten a visit from Qiao Wu, and now elder Xiao Tian had returned with a powerful fishery on the decision he had taken.

Elder Xiao Tian rushed to his study and immediately wrote a letter to Feng Youxin. He also asked a servant to call Xiao Jung, elder Xiao Tian wanted to pass on his decision to Xiao Jung before handing it over to Feng Youxin.

After a while Xiao Jung finally arrived in the room, Xiao Jung had just woken up and rushed over to elder Xiao Tian not expecting his uncle to be home today.

"Uncle, did uncle make the decision?" xiao Jung asked curiously also worried.

"Yes, Uncle has decided. I will inform the sect master of the matter and ask him to disquiet this matter to all the elders." Elder Xiao Tian then approached Xiao Jung.

"What if they don't believe uncle's story?" Xiao Jung was starting to worry.

Elder Xiao Tian only smiled gently then patted Xiao Jung on the shoulder gently, "Just calm down, I've prepared everything."

"But-, are you sure about this? It could be that they considered uncle a traitor for letting intruders roam the sect," Xiao Jung said slightly anxiously.

"I must take responsibility for this mess, at least the decision I made will not tarnish the good name of our Xiao family." Elder Xiao Tian took the letter he had made and asked Xiao Jung to hand it over to the Sect Leader.

Xiao Jing was silent for a moment, it was never inconceivable in her head if the sect faced such a serious problem.

"Uncle, can I take that meeting later? I'll tell them a few things." Xiao Jung had made up his mind, he would support any of Xiao Tian's plans.

"Ask that matter to the sect master, I have no right to do so." Xiao Tian let out a heavy sigh.

Xiao Jung nodded slowly before leaving and gave a respectful greeting. He rushed to Feng Youxin's residence to meet him but the man was not there.

Xiao Jung had asked a servant and it turned out that Feng Youxin was out of the sect and was only going to come back during the day. Xiao Jung had no choice but to leave the letter to the waiter there, telling him not to know about it before it was received by Feng Youxin himself.

"The remaining time is less than two months, what exactly is uncle planning?" Xiao Jung muttered softly, his head starting to ache at the thought of what might happen.
