Legend of the Heavenly Swordsman

Legend of the Heavenly Swordsman
Ch.89 - Back

Ye Huolang's breath was restrained for a moment when a mysterious aura pressed down on his body. Ye Huolang only realized after a while, it turned out that the aura was emanating from the body of Fu Chen, the youngster who had just done a strange thing to the Black Bear demon.

Ye Huolang inched backwards as Fu Chen approached him, cold sweat started to appear on his forehead and back. Ye Huolang felt that Fu Chen was being controlled by a dangerous creature, as he remembered this young man was the child Xuan Rong had told him about.

"Haha..your soul feels cleaner than theirs, you must always train it." The figure controlling Fu Chen's body began to raise a hand, thin smoke emerging from between his nails.

"A-what are you.." Ye Huolang widened his eyes in surprise when his body could not be moved in the slightest.

The figure smiled widely, as his hands began to touch Ye Huolang's head suddenly the Earth-creature of the Tang clan let out a dim light.

The figure frowned, but not for a long time his finger was hot and continued to creep into his hand.

"You-you-?" The figure's eyes glared in disbelief as an extremely familiar aura emanated from the ring.

The figure gripped his right arm firmly, trying to resist the energy that felt like tying him up.

"Collapse! Your present strength will not be able to match me!" An extremely authoritative roarful voice echoed in the figure's head.

"DAO LUNZI!! BEAST- MOTHERFUCKER!" aspersion of that figure. But he could not finish his sentence when his soul was suddenly drawn to a very dark place.

"Heh.. Before you go back to hell I won't let you go!" said the white figure hovering around Fu Chen's body.

He then stuck his hand on Fu Chen's forehead and summoned Fu Chen's consciousness that was still submerged in the soul pool. Fu Chen's body collapsed to the ground as the figure let go of his hand.

"This child is still too weak, but I was also wrong for not sealing that demon soul in the first place." The white figure let out a slow breath.

The figure's mouth was then seen saying something before flicking his hand into the air and making Ye Huolang and the others lose consciousness. "It should be enough to erase their memories…"

"Ugh.." Fu Chen grimaced as he held his head. His whole body was painful and difficult to move.

"Ah, Chen'er you're awake." said a young man sitting by the fireplace.

"Huh…?" Fu Chen tried to gather his consciousness back, "Where am I? … S-senior-" Fu Chen widened his eyes and was about to stand up but instantly his body felt a great pain.

"Don't move much first Chen'er! Your body is still weak because it has been a month unconscious." Xiao Jung returned to Fu Chen.

"S-one month!?" Fu Chen was very surprised to hear it, even though he felt he had just experienced strange things.

"Right Chen'er, you lost consciousness after fighting many enemies. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have invited you to attack the base back then." Xiao Jung let out a heavy sigh.

Fu Chen looked at me for a moment. "It's okay senior, this will be a lesson for me as well in the future. Then...how is the fate of the group? Did they succeed in being defeated?"

Xiao Jung smiled gently, feeling that this junior of his had mature thoughts. "You take it easy, the group will never appear again in this world."

"That's it.." Fu Chen let out a long sigh, he still wondered at the incident he was going through. As he remembered he lost consciousness and then drowned in the endless ocean.

"Is it just a dream?" inner Fu Chen while thinking hard.

"There's no need to blame yourself Chen'er, I know you want to avenge your Aunt but isn't what you've done enough." Xiao Jung gave advice as he looked at Fu Chen's tangled face.

"I heard from the other disciples, they said you were killing your enemies blindly. I don't blame you for me doing the same thing, but for a kid your age I think it's too much."

Xiao Jung smiled gently, in fact he was hard to believe but Xiao Jung himself had seen Fu Chen's fight long before that battle.

He admitted, Fu Chen's swordplay was focused on speed and strength, each move so sharp that it was difficult to read even for himself.

Fu Chen knitted his brows after hearing Xiao Jung's words. As he remembered none of the sect disciples around him before Hongli's arrival, he was even still trying to refrain from killing back then.

"Don't." Fu Chen's eyes widened. "No, this is impossible…"

Fu Chen recalled the strange thing that happened to the entire Black Bear members while he was fighting with Hongli, where they all suddenly went crazy like an doormat.

"So it wasn't all a dream? Then who is that figure exactly?" Fu Chen hissed.

Fu Chen's head ached when he thought about it, yet he was extremely curious about the figure. Fu Chen firmly believed that figure was the answer to his question all along.

"Chen'er, do you want to eat? Your body needs to be powered up because we're going to continue the journey tomorrow morning." Xiao Jung thrust out a yam that he had just burned.

"Continue traveling? Where are we going?" fu Chen asked and grabbed the yam in Xiao Jung's hand.

"Haha...of course we're going home to the sect, don't you miss your friends?" Xiao Jung chuckled.

Fu Chen's face turned bright. "Ah... true as well, I want to know how far Sin Lou and the others have progressed."

Fu Chen and the other entourage arrived at the sect after one month since Fu Chen had awakened. Their entourage walked around quite casually so it took a longer time to arrive at the sect.

"Ah. finally," Fu Chen took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, the weight on his shoulders feeling slightly lifted.

Perhaps nearly six months Fu Chen left the sect and the nuances in this place felt very different. The air is so fresh, it is very different compared to out there, even to let go of vigilance is difficult.

Their entourage then headed to the administrative place. Many outer disciples greeted them, but most of the welcome was only to Xiao Jung.

They returned the horses and other embankments borrowed from the sect while the sect elders and Xiao Jung came to one of the reception desk to report on their mission.

Fu Chen immediately broke away upon entering the sect, the place he wanted to go to right now was only the dormitory where he lived. He really misses his soft bed.

But when he arrived, his expectations were shattered because the place was already in other people's homes. Even the structure of the room that he had arranged neatly had now changed drastically.

"Aaargh! Why are you staying in my room!?" fu Chen shouted in frustration and shocked the students who were in the room.

"H-hey! What are you doing!" The inner disciple who was in the room panicked as Fu Chen suddenly lunged towards him.

"Stop this boy!"

Due to the commotion they made, the students who were around the dormitory immediately crowded around to see the commotion.

Realizing this, the dormitory guards hurriedly barged in and stopped them. But only a moment he entered, his hand was pulled by one of the students to wrestle in the room.

"Hey, stop!" snapped at the guard, the aura he released was enough to make the disciples speechless.

"Are you Fu Chen?" asked the guard with hunting breath, he was a little astonished because Fu Chen was not affected by his aura.

"Yes, what's wrong?" Fu Chen snorted softly, his breathing a little messy as he tried to hold back his emotions.

"Follow me! Elder Li has already asked you to stay in his residence. This place has been in someone else's residence after elder Li moved your things."

The guard pulled Fu Chen's hand and took him out, he also dispersed the crowd there.
