Ch.152 - The Sun Welcomes

The rat hissed for a moment before returning to keep its distance, the creature did not expect that one could move so quickly and repel its attacks.

"Seniors, I hope you're ready for another surprise attack." Fu Chen was amazed by the intelligence of this rat.

It seemed that the rat understood, if it were to finish off some weaker opponents it would make its movements more free.

And Suyu clucked softly as he was unaware of the rat's purpose. And Suyu seemed to realize that she was underestimating the mouse demon before her.

The rat shot back but Fu Chen immediately followed him, despite a bit of distress but Fu Chen managed to keep up with the speed of the rat.

And Suyu quickly caught up with Fu Chen, the two of them working together to finish off the rat. Rat tails that are as hard as iron also sometimes make them hassles.

As if the tail had its own consciousness, it could strike the blind spot of its enemy. The rat's fur was also quite strong, several times Dan Suyu's sword managed to reach the creature's body, but his sword did not penetrate his body.

The rat did look a little ignored Dan Suyu's attack, he focused on Fu Chen's movements which he thought were quite dangerous and difficult to halau.

They turned their heads back as if they were given a cue. Initially only one mouse the size of a human baby appeared, but not for a long time dozens of other mice began to be seen.

"Where did these rats come from?" one of the elders clucked.

While they were focusing on the rats, a swordsman suddenly shouted and made them realize that there was a more dangerous enemy behind them.

Fu Chen moved quickly against the mouse, he poured more Qi into his sword and emitted such a sharp blue aura.

"Senior, let's split the task! Please take care of those rats, I'll help Junior Tang!" And Suyu immediately sped up after saying so.

The rat seemed surprised because Fu Chen's strength seemed to increase drastically, even the aura Fu Chen emitted began to make the mouse difficult to move.

The exchange of attacks continued to occur, countless injuries they had gotten for not managing to dispel the attacks.

Although the swordsmanship that Dou Huang taught managed to corner the rat, Fu Chen was unable to continue using it as it drained a lot of Qi and manpower.

The difference in each stage in the king's warrior is very far. Although Dan Suyu had reached the King realm early stage swordsman yet he was unable to deliver a deep enough attack.

The mouse's breathing sounded messy, but worse things also happened to Dan Suyu and Fu Chen. While the rats that were fighting the elders were getting fewer and fewer.

Fu Chen glanced at Dan Suyu from the corner of his eyes, his breathing starting to sting. Fu Chen could see his hand start to limp to the point of having difficulty grasping the sword.

Fu Chen was like that, he felt the need to end this fight as soon as possible.

"Senior, are you still able to continue-! Keuuk!" Fu Chen suddenly felt a pain in his head, his body grew increasingly limp, his gaze also started to blur.

"You shouldn't have forced yourself in the first place…"

"This body has really reached its limit." Dou Huang spoke using Fu Chen's body.

The rat was aware of the change that had happened to Fu Chen, he felt the human before him turn into a different figure.

And Suyu only realized Fu Chen's change when Dou Huang spoke. But before he could speak, he had lost consciousness without knowing what caused it.

The last thing he knew was that Fu Chen's hair had turned white.

The entire elder also fainted, giving the rats a chance to attack. Yet before they did so Dou Huang had moved and killed them with a single slash.

"This body is still not strong enough to withstand my strength." Dou Huang muttered as he stretched Fu Chen's hand.

Meanwhile the rat with the previous red eyes had now prostrated in fear with a trembling body. He seemed to realize that the person before him was not something he could see.

"You have a pretty high intelligence. I like it, but enough here's your history."

Dou Huang pressed his sword against the rat's head. Slowly the rat's body grew thinner so that his bones seemed to be only wrapped in skin.

Dou Huang then approached the dying mother mouse not far from there. He stroked the mouse for a moment.

"Part of your soul has gone away, be proud that you and your descendants will be the beginning of this king's resurrection."

After doing so Dou Huang went back to inspect Fu Chen's body, "Unfortunately, it seems like I still have to wait a little longer."

Now the cave began to be quiet, there was no more rat or other noise. All that was heard was water droplets that hit the rocks there.

And Suyu regained consciousness, her head ached. His gaze traced in all directions and found the other elders also awake.

"What's going on?" And Suyu tried to remember the last incident in his nature, but it actually made his head even more sick.

"Ah right junior Tang Chen!" And Suyu again circulated his gaze, he saw Fu Chen's body still lying next to the mother mouse.

And Suyu approached her while limping, her whole body ached. When he saw Fu Chen's body becoming a little thin, he examined Fu Chen's pulse and breath and found the young man was still alive.

"Thank God.." And Suyu heaved a sigh of relief. He did not understand how this could be done, but he was quite grateful to still survive after doing this crazy idea.

And Suyu asked the elders to rest for a moment. They had no idea what was waiting outside, so at least they had to recover a little stamina.

After feeling enough, Dan Suyu carried Fu Chen on her back. And Suyu was quite amazed even in a state of unconsciousness, Fu Chen still remained clasping his sword.

They passed through quite carefully. The torches that were extinguished due to the previous gusts of wind made their view limited.

Luckily Fu Chen had given his mark on every road they had passed before.

And Suyu covered her face that was exposed to the sunlight. The fresh air they breathed made them breathe a sigh of relief.

The warriors who had been waiting outside were suddenly cheering happily welcoming them. It was a morning of relief for them.

And Suyu could only smile modestly, he could not believe this amazing plan had emerged from a little boy whose background was unknown.

The number of victims in the search as well as the ambush is even smaller than the previous season.

"Let's spread this good news to the villagers!" cheering Dan Suyu with a big smile.
