Ch.102 - Meeting of Elders II

"Uncle, are you ready?"

After returning from Feng Youxin's residence, Xiao Jung locked himself inside the room while contemplating something.

Xiao Jung was relieved that Feng Youxin was willing to hear his plan, but Xiao Jung was quite worried about the decision of the elders because in the plan the lives of the elders had to be at stake.

Xiao Jung also did not expect that the threat his family received first would make many lives threatened. Xiao Jung promised that he would do anything even if he had to risk his life even though this problem arose because of him.

When the appointed time had arrived Xiao Tian and Xiao Jung went to the meeting hall. It turned out that there were not many present back then, Xiao Tian chose to sit on one of the chairs while Xiao Jung stood behind him.

During the wait, the attention of some elders was on Xiao Jung and Xiao Tian, they were quite curious as to why a Core disciple could join this meeting. Even so, no one tried to ask because of the attitude of Xiao Tian or Xiao Jung who were notoriously haughty and cold.

Xiao Jung could see as one by one the elders of the sect began to arrive, their faces were still radiant and some were still in love with the others. While Xiao Tian was just silent while closing his eyes, his body leaned against the chair to calm his chaotic mind.

"Ah, I hope this meeting is over soon."

"You're right, I still have to finish my business after this."

"What other problems did Chairman Feng face to ask us to gather like this."

"I think he wants us to find a partner for him, he's been too busy taking care of the sect and doesn't have time to do that."

"You're right hahaha…"

Not long after Feng Youxin and Li Han arrived at the meeting hall, the room instantly became silent, it seemed as if the elders there were still paying their respects before Feng Youxin.

"Ah, fuck! This year a lot of my dolls were destroyed"

Elder Mao stopped his words when he realized that all the elders had arrived and that he had arrived at the very end. Elder Mau smiled awkwardly before approaching Xiao Tian and sitting next to him.

Before getting into the core of the conversation Feng Youxin first thanked all the elders for taking the time to attend. Here Feng Youxin slightly discussed some sect matters and also the achievements of the sect all along.

"As the sect leader I am very grateful that you have contributed greatly to the advancement of this sect. For decades we have taken care of this sect from various problems and obstacles…"

"Sst, why is he talking like that? Is he going to resign?" whispered an elder to the elder beside him.

"So, we better listen to you first."

After he finished talking about some regarding the progress of the Feng Youxin sect then immediately discussed the core topic of this meeting.

"Maybe this will be very confusing for you, but I'm asking you to listen to it until it's done…"

The elders looked at each other for a moment because they did not know what Feg Youxing was going to talk about. While Xiao Tian started to feel nervous and prepared mentally.

"Less than two months into the future our sect will be under great threat. A group supposedly from outside the Song Empire would come and disrupt this sect…"

Many elders who frowned hearing that, of course they were in disbelief but seeing Feng Youxin's tangled face when talking about it made them undo the intention to interrupt the conversation.

Feng Youxin continued his explanation by saying that the group was moving because of an heirloom that caught their attention. Feng Youxin himself did not know exactly what kind of heirloom the group wanted.

"It was expected that they would start attacking the sect one month from now, therefore I beg-!"

"Wait first! An elder rose from his bed.

"Isn't this group too stupid to easily let information like this leak? After all, where did you know of any group that would attack the sect?" asked the elder to interrupt Feng Youxin's words, a few other elders also seemed to agree with the question.

"Initially I thought so too but you have to hear this information from your own source." Feng Youxin looked at Xiao Tian for a moment before nodding his head slowly.

Xiao Tian who understood his intention immediately got up from his chair, many elders were confused because of the actions of Xiao Tian who had arrived, even the elder Mao who was beside him almost choked on his own breath.

"Brother Xiao was the one who gave this information to me, I am only an intermediary to pass this information on to all of you," Feng Youxin said as he looked at Xiao Tian.

Xiao Tian took a deep breath and looked at the other elders, "I know it's hard for you to trust me, but at least give me a chance this time."

Xiao Tian then retold what he had told Feng Youxin, just after Xiao Tian had started it almost the entire elder stared intently and cynically at Xiao Tian. However, their irritation was slightly lessened upon hearing the reason Xiao Tian was trying to betray the sect.

But some of the other elders judged that Xiao Tian had taken the wrong step. Xiao Tian should be able to be honest with his fellow sect mates since they might be able to help out a little.

"Well, we can't blame him because he hasn't done anything yet, but harboring the intention to betray the Suxi Sword Sect is a big sin for me." One of the elders shook his head slowly while sighing softly.

"Chairman Feng, what kind and where is the damage they are after?" asked an elder named Kuang Bei who was interested in the heirloom of the Sacred Sword sect.

Feng Youxin sighed for a moment then glanced at Li Han, he was sure that the heirloom must be in the hands of this old man but seeing him who did not want to talk made Feng Youxin just try to understand.

"I don't know what the heirloom's shape is because it's still sealed somewhere." Feng Youxin slightly concocted the story so that the elders would follow the plan laid out by Xiao Jung later.

With the existence of great heirlooms in this sect will certainly add its own motivation for the elders.

Li Han slightly raised an eyebrow due to Feng Youxin's remark, all this time he had never told anyone about the heirloom but seeing Feng Youxin guessing correctly made him a little surprised.

Elder Kuang Bei was seen smiling faintly for a while before changing his countenance back. A devious plan flashed in Kuang Bei's head to obtain the heirloom.

"Does Chairman Feng know how to unseal it? If Chairman Feng can do it maybe we can use that heirloom to fight the enemy."

Kuang Bei wanted to confirm it once again, if he managed to steal the heirloom before the war happened then it was a huge advantage for him.

Feng Youxin simply shook his head slowly to answer him, not wanting to make any further lies.

Li Han felt that there was something strange about Kuang Bei's question earlier, not a time or two for Li Han to judge one's intentions from the look in his eyes and he felt the hidden intentions of Kuang Bei.

"Chairman Feng, do you have a solution to this problem?" Elder Mao who felt the discussion was getting off the mark immediately asked a question.

Feng Youxin nodded slowly before smiling gently at Xiao Jung. Feng Youxin explained it in detail because after all this plan would involve the lives of the elders.

It took a long consideration for the elders before agreeing to the plan. Although they died there would be a next generation to replace them, at least that was what all the elders in the room thought after hearing Feng Youxin's explanation.

"I didn't expect this meeting to go smoothly" Xiao Jung said, breathing a sigh of relief.

Thanks to Feng Youxin's help the elders finally did not concern Xiao Tian, they were more concerned with the safety of disciples than having to add to other internal problems.

Xiao Tian also felt relieved, but the smile on his face looked stiff, "Huh.." Xiao Tian let out a long sigh, "From now on we can't relax, We must immediately prepare a false mission for the disciples."

"Uncle take it easy, after helping the disciples I will also come to protect the sect."

"No Jung'er, you'll take refuge with the other students." Xiao Tian said.

Xiao Jung furrowed his brows for a moment but before he could speak Xiao Tian immediately preceded him.

"Sound Jung'er! You are a successor of the Xiao family, there are many expectations of the Xiao family members on your shoulders. What should I tell your father if you die here?" Xiao Tian shook his head slowly.

"Uncle-!"

"Jung'er, uncle please.." Xiao Tian looked at Xiao Jung with a complicated gaze.

"Cih.." Xiao Jung's tongue screeched for a moment then he immediately went off using the science of lightening his body.

Xiao Tian just simply looked at him in silence, "I'm sorry uncle, Jung'er…"
