Ch.121 - General Fighter

Days passed quickly, Dou Huang and Feng Bian continued to chat and discuss their previous gamble. While Fu Chen was enjoying the air outside the cave which was so fresh.

Fu Chen realized his responsibility this time was so great that he felt he had no time to relax. Perhaps his decision to leave the Village and his friends was right, considering the task he received was very dangerous.

Fu Chen got up and went back inside the cave, he saw Dou Huang still conversing with Feng Bian. Fu Chen felt that there was something strange about Feng Bian because the fox had never moved a place at all since they first met.

"Oh... Are you ready, young man?" Dou Huang glanced at Fu Chen while smiling faintly.

"Yes." Fu Chen replied briefly.

"Alright I will explain your first task." from the palm of Dou Huang suddenly appeared a thin book that looked shabby.

"Use the understanding of the book to rise to the level of a Combat General. Remember that! I'll give you one month until you reach the final stages of the General Fighter." Dou Huang threw the book in his hand towards Fu Chen.

"One month?" Fu Chen almost choked on his own breath, even in history he had never heard of it, "Is that possible?"

"Look, that book is my creation. The science in it can be said to be almost perfect, and it is free to use all the resources in the ring as you see fit."

Fu Chen glanced at his ringleader for a moment then looked at Dou Huang for some time.

"Does this book have a name?"

Fu Chen picked up the book still lying on the ground, then looked for a comfortable position to sit down and study it.

"Yes name…?" Dou Huang stroked his beard, "I never thought about it, the book I created just to fill my free time, you are free to name it as you please."

Fu Chen smiled wryly, he began to doubt the contents of the book, "Why don't you just give the books that the Gods gave? Wouldn't it be much better if I didn't study many different books?"

Dou Huang shook his head slowly, the book that the Gods gave him could only be used after Fu Chen rose to the level of Swordsman King. Dou Huang was quite confident with Fu Chen's understanding now that he would have difficulty learning the book.

Fu Chen nodded slowly, at least now he already had a guide for the future. Fu Chen then opened the first page of the book, explaining that to become a Combat General a swordsman must at least have good bone quality.

'I spent three days just to understand the three leaves of this book, is that one month enough time to reach the final stage of the General Fighter's staff?' fu Chen thought while knitting his forehead.

"I don't think I need to think about it, nor did the ancestor say that I should understand the entire contents of this book," Fu Chen muttered softly before taking a deep breath.

"Are you sure this brat is capable of rising to the level of a late stage Combat General in just one month? Even in the Upper world it was difficult to find such a talent," Feng Bian narrowed his eyes, quite curious and suspicious of Dou Huang's plans.

"Of course not, it's just a test. But wouldn't it be more interesting if he could really do it," Dou Huang pulled the corner of his lips as he chuckled softly.

"Basic crazy!" Feng Bian grunted softly.

The sun kept going, it did not feel that Fu Chen had spent a week studying the book.

Fu Chen felt the need to stop his reading, according to him the comprehension of the ten pieces was more than enough to bring him to the level of a Combat General.

"All right, let's start," Fu Chen took out the Celestial Goddess Peaches that he had been keeping, then confirmed his position according to the directions from the book he read.

Fu Chen devoured the peaches while feeling the energy entering his body. When everything had been exhausted Fu Chen could feel the energy within his dantian as if overflowing.

Fu Chen increased his concentration, trying to condense that overflowing qi energy. Meanwhile, a Dou Huang floated towards Fu Chen to inspect the energy path in the young man's body.

"This boy did well, now how he's going to break through that barrier wall." Dou Huang was quite satisfied.

Fu Chen's body let out a cold sweat, condensing qi energy into his dantian turned out to be more difficult than he thought. Lucky Dou Huang helped Fu Chen by flowing his qi so that the young man's body could survive.

The moment all the energy in Fu Chen's body had gathered, suddenly that condensed energy gave rise to signs of being about to explode. Fu Chen felt relieved because the moment the energy completely exploded, then he had automatically entered the realm of the Combat General.

The sound of explosions rang out from Fu Chen's body, making waves of wind blow away from the young man's body.

While outside, Dou Huang seemed to be smiling with satisfaction, he could feel the qi energy radiating in Fu Chen's body being so pure, its purity almost matching the qi absorbed using the God-given book.

"Good, but your development is much slower than I thought," Dou Huang hid his feelings, despite knowing Fu Chen would not be inedible with praise but he did not want the boy to quickly feel satisfied.

"slow? How much time did I use?" fu Chen asked as he adjusted his slightly hunting breath.

"Three days! And that was thanks to my help!"

Fu Chen sighed softly at her and clenched his hand firmly, "Well, that was indeed very difficult but in the future I will do better."

"O-Oh.. nice-good! Next try to control the qi you just obtained! Your body needs to adapt "Dou Huang feels strange, this young man previously looked very moody, but now he is even more excited than usual.

"Hey... How can you say that it's slow?" Feng Bian whispered to Dou Huang, " Regardless of the resources he eats, humans in general take at least two weeks to open the gates of the Combat General. I'm sure even you take longer than this brat!"
