Ch.146 - Continue the Journey

Meng Empire, many rumors are circulating regarding this country. The dominance of black, stealth and swordsman abilities in this country has spread widely in the Eastern continent.

Although there are many rumors that make this country look terrible, but traders who want resources still come and make the country's economy still running.

These traders believe that the many demons found there signify many quality resources.

During the trip Fu Chen simply lay on top of a pile of items belonging to Jin Taeso. He was still waiting for Dou Huang to wake up to give his next clue, but the old spirit did not appear.

Fu Chen never forgot his training, he always took his time in his spare time and consumed resources so as to make the flow of Qi in his body more smoothly.

Jin Taeso's entourage then stopped at an inn, the place was not too big because it was only used as a stopover for traders.

"Son, do you know where you're headed?" jin Taeso asked who had been watching Fu Chen.

"Come on.." Fu Chen sighed softly, he did know the location he was heading to on the map, but did not know the way.

Jin Taeso smiled faintly, "Come! I'll introduce you to some of the bodyguards I hired. They've waited long enough."

Jin Taeso took Fu Chen into the inn, the 1st floor of the inn looked like a diner.

Fu Chen slightly raised an eyebrow when he saw the bodyguard Jin Taeso meant. They numbered 5 people and 4 of them were 1st class warriors, while one other person was at the level of General Fighters.

They were the usual bodyguards hired by Jin Taeso during their trip in the Meng Empire all along.

Fu Chen began to think how much money Jin Taeso had spent on hiring bodyguards of this level. In the Song Empire itself it was quite difficult to obtain a bodyguard at the level of a 1st grade swordsman.

On the body of the Combat General was a black line running across his body. While the other 4 people did not have as much black lines as the man.

"Master, good day!" Jin Taeso greeted the man.

"Haha... What an interesting child!" The man named Kuron smiled widely while introducing himself.

Kuron was quite surprised when he realized that a child of Fu Chen's age had a level that did not differ much from him.

Fu Chen smiled wryly knowing the strength of this man was much higher than expected, the muscles in Kuron's body had been perfectly formed.

If Fu Chen wanted to fight with him then Fu Chen should be prepared to suffer severe internal injuries.

After introducing themselves and resting, they immediately continued on their way.

Their destination was the village of Goryeo, which was one of the largest contributors of food supplies in the region.

Soon the harvest season will come and at a time like this, many demons will move to forage.

Jin Taeso's goal was actually just to obtain resources from the demons. Starting from the skin, meat and even stealth saliva are valuable enough to be sold.

Kuron and some of his comrades also got a mission to protect the Village, so when Jin Taeso asked him to become a bodyguard, he easily accepted it.
