Long enough Fu Chen lay unconscious in the cave. He just woke up when the day started to go up in the evening. His head felt dizzy, slowly Fu Chen gathered his consciousness and opened his eyes.
His body was a little sore, but it felt better than before. Fu Chen furrowed his forehead when he realized the wound on his hand was just a small scratch.
Fu Chen then observed the wound closing slowly. He then opened the cloth that bound his left arm. His eyes were round seeing that his wound had closed.
"What's really going on?"
Fu Chen watched the surroundings, he only realized that the cave was filled with purple-colored crystals that were the size of a thumb. The crystal also emitted a faint light. But strangely, Fu Chen's breathing was still smooth even though the cave was filled with thin smoke.
Fu Chen felt no pain as he tried to move his body. Not wanting to take a headache, Fu Chen tried to look inside the cave. He intends to rest here because it is dark enough outside.
The cave turned out to be quite deep, Fu Chen did not dare to continue his steps after finding the flow of water that led to a pond. The pool gave off a thin smoke and and a little light. Fu Chen thought that the light came from the reflection of the crystal which was indeed quite a lot.
"I think I should clean up first." Fu Chen took off his clothes and entered the pond slowly. Sure enough, the pool was not deep because the bottom was already visible.
His body felt more powerful, the pool he thought was cold was quite warm. Fu Chen drank the pool water a little because he felt it was clean. For a long time he soaked and cleaned himself, occasionally he looked at the wounds he got that continued to close to the bottom.
Fu Chen's body felt hot as he got out of the pool, he tried to re-enter the pool, but the heat remained.
Fu Chen unintentionally recalled the formation process a few months ago, the peroses had the same sensation as the current one. Fu Chen tried to calm himself down and started focusing his mind.
The hot energy Fu Chen felt entered through the pores of his skin. He did the same thing as the dantian formation he remembered. Fu Chen directed the heat energy at his dantian and instantly instantly absorbed it.
The process continued throughout the night. Without Fu Chen noticing, he had currently entered the early stages of becoming a third-rate swordsman.
Fu Chen opened his eyes feeling no more energy entering his body. The pool water was a little murky, the smell of sweat was also more pungent than usual. Yet among the strange things he saw, Fu Chen felt his body fresher even before he had fought with the tiger yesterday.
He noticed the purple-colored crystals scattered within the cave for once more. He intended to carry most of the crystal, but his small pouch did not have much space.
Fu Chen sighed, thinking he had to mark the path to get to this place, in order to later be able to visit him with Tang Shu and venture into the deeper parts of the cave.
Time passed by just like that, four days Fu Chen spent searching for a way out towards where he used to train. When he got there, it turned out that Tang Shu had still not come.
"It's not usually like this." Fu Chen sighed harshly, lucky that his guess missed the start of his departure. "I think it'd be better if I took a few days off …."
Elsewhere, Tang Shu was currently mourning Aunt Fei's death. Tang Shu had not expected, if Aunt Fei's departure towards the city would be the end of her life history. Not only was Aunt Fei the one who died, but some of the villagers who had left were too.
The bodies of Aunt Fei and the other residents were found after one day of the robbery. Surprisingly, the corpse of Auntie Fei's daughter was not found at that location. Tang Shu assumed that the robber deliberately left Auntie Fei's son to be made a slave.
The villagers were obviously sad to lose the figure of Aunt Fei. They knew Aunt Fei as an independent and kind person. Often he gives the fruit of his sale to children.
Of all the citizens present, Fu Mei hugged Aunt Fei's grave while sobbing in tears. Xin Xue and Sin Lou who were beside him tried to calm down.
One week passed by just like that, Fu Chen had previously intended to leave the forest and catch up with his father, thinking something bad had happened. But he undoes his intention to realize that Tang Shu's power has at least matched that of the elders of the Sacred Sword Sect.
Tang Shu had only arrived at night. He apologized to Fu Chen for leaving him too long.
"It's okay dad. What really happened in the village? Why did you come back so long?" Fu Chen wanted to make sure that the situation in the village was okay.
Fu Chen frowned seeing the look on Tang Shu's face turn riled. Her heart skipped a beat as Tang Shu opened her mouth.
"What do you mean dad? Say it clearly!" fu Chen's eyes glared, rejecting the reality he had in mind.
"Aunt Fei.. she has died.." Tang Shu sighed afterwards.
"No, no way.. This is impossible.. Dad, tell me if it's not true right…?" Fu Chen's eyes began to water, yet he was still trying to hold it.
Tang Shu smiled wryly and shook his head. His emotions were turbulent looking at the gaze of his son who was so sad. "Calm down Chen'er, Aunt Fei was already calm there.." Tang Shu said as he stroked Fu Chen's head, his smile slightly forced at the time.
Fu Chen was no longer able to stem his tears. The soft sound of sobbing was heard by Tang Shu. He intends to calm his son but he himself feels the same sadness.
It had been the umpteenth time for Tang Shu to lose those closest to her. Her tears were unable to come out representing the sadness she felt. Only a gentle smile could he show Fu Chen at this moment.
"Do you want to go home to Aunt Fei's grave?" tang Shu asked trying to calm her son down.
Fu Chen shook his head slowly, "No father, I want to become strong as quickly as possible, in order to be able to protect the Village." Fu Chen raised his head after saying that. "Then how's Xuan Rong doing, dad?" Fu Chen had just remembered that Aunt Fei's son.
Tang Shu shook his head again, "Either Chen'er, Xuan Rong wasn't found around the events back then."
"Don't that mean he's alive?" Fu Chen asked a little excitedly.
"Dad also hoped he was still alive.but there are two possibilities that make him no location incident…"
"Is that dad? Tell me?" take Fu Chen back.
"… The first possibility is that Xuan Rong managed to escape from the robbers who attacked them, and the second possibility, Xuan Rong was caught by the robber."
Tang Shu did not want to say if the current Xuan Rong might already be the slave of the robber, because it could have added to the depression within Fu Chen.
Fu Chen bit his lips furiously, there was nothing good about those two possibilities. If indeed Xuan Rong escaped, then he would have a hard time surviving out there. And if Xuan Rong is captured, then it will be even worse.
"There's no need for you to bother, we can't do anything right now other than wish Xuan Rong well."
Fu Chen stood up from his sitting position, then looked at the moon and stars of the night while saying. "What is the whole world of this martial father really?"
Tang Shu was astonished to hear her son's question, but her sense turned a gentle smile knowing the meaning of the question. "Anyone will not know the limits of this martial world Chen'er, every time you step your foot somewhere, then new things will come to you. Likewise with the heart, every time he gets grief then a conscious feeling will he get…."
Fu Chen silently looked at the sky, he confirmed Tang Shu's words in his mind. If people kill each other for the life they want, then even good people can change if they want something.
"Aren't there, a peak where everyone can understand each other?" Fu Chen said softly.
Tang Shu shook his head hearing that. "No one is truly at peace in this world, evil is the faithful companion of peace. If evil is gone, then peace will bring it back."
Tang Shu smiled wryly saying so, things like this had been taught by her clan since childhood, Tang Shu's confidence to trust her then grew higher, after seeing with her own eyes, the one who attacked his clan was his grandfather's good friend.
Fu Chen frowned not understanding, yet he did not want to ask Tang Shu further. He wanted to get an answer from that statement on his own assumption.
Fu Chen walked towards one of the large rocks that dammed the flow of the waterfall. He sat there looking at the waterfall from top to bottom. Trying to get the answer he wanted.
Tang Shu did not blame his son's behavior, he felt amazed by Fu Chen's ever-expanding composure. "Somewhere did the child think to ask such a thing," Inner Tang Shu with a gentle smile, saw her son sitting cross-legged contemplating her speech.
