Ch.27 - Application

During the trip Fu Chen attempted to memorize the path so that he could return home at will. The chosen Village children were also getting more familiar during the trip, although Fu Chen was still the material of their teasing.

Qiao Wu was the most loyal beside Fu Chen, the girl always defended Fu Chen when other children ridiculed her. Although Sin Lou also defended but he was more focused on Kyoto, they were both like rivals fighting for class rank.

The senior disciples as well as the Elders escorting them did not care about it, the noise the children made was enough to fill the trip this time around.

The day started in the afternoon and they decided to spend the night in the forest while making a tent. Fu Chen and others were then taught how to make a simple campfire and tent.

After all the preparations were done, they sat in a circle beside the bonfire. Elder Wang He then explained the sect rules to the children.

Fu Chen and the others listened carefully, not wanting to pass any important points that might come in handy later. While the senior disciples who had gathered were also listening, there were probably some things that they had forgotten.

"In the Sacred Sword sect as well as the other sects, every disciple is differentiated into Outer disciple, Inner disciple and Core disciple. You must have known your senior this one .." Wang He patted Xiao Jung on the shoulder.

Wang He smiled faintly knowing what Fu Chen meant. "All right, I'll think about it. Rest soon! we'll continue the journey tomorrow morning blind."

After two days of traveling, Fu Chen and the others were thinning, and they started sharing with each other.

Senior students who can resist hunger give some of their supplies to children. Fu Chen felt anxious, did elder Wang He not heed his words?

While resting the children started complaining because they had to save supplies until they reached the next village, not only them but some senior students as well.

"No.." Everyone answered without the slightest spirit.

Wang He smiled faintly, "in that case, tonight we will hunt for food in the forest!" All eyes were on Wang He after he said that.

"What's wrong? Have you not run out of food? Don't worry, every two children will be accompanied by a senior disciple."

Wang He looked at all the senior disciples present, from his estimation, there were three people who did not belong to the group of children.

"The senior disciple will determine the members of his group, so decide immediately, or you won't have dinner!"

Kyoto and Sin Lou are chosen by a senior student named Jyu Sun. According to him, Kyoto and Sin Lou are energetic children and will not be easily afraid when in the forest.

Xiao Jung, who was the leader of the group, chose Qiao Wu as a member. There was no compelling reason, she was only interested in Qiao Wu because she was the only female there.

"Pick one of your friends to be our group." Xiao Jung suggested choosing a child that was not troublesome.

Qiao Wu slightly disliked Xiao Jung's words. But it was not a problem for him, because whatever his orders he would still invite Fu Chen.

Xiao Jung stared flatly at Fu Chen as Qiao Wu chose him.

"Can he, senior?" Qiao Wu asked with a bright smile.

In total there were six groups including three previous seniors. Wang He then told each group to spread out. He himself will also go hunting, in case there are groups that do not get hunted.
