Mortal To Immortal (Book 1)
Ep. 101 - Two Swords

Even though Tian Jian was now in a spirit form, he could still touch or be physically touched, thus deciding to have Yao Han exchange swordsmanship attacks to test the extent of his abilities.

Not only was it affected by the life and death battle in the battle with Feng Xian, he said, yao Han's seriousness from the beginning was also because he wanted to show that he had the ability in swordsmanship and prove that Meirong taught him well.

"Han'er, please go ahead first." Tian Jian let Yao Han take the first step.

"Please hint, Senior."

After saying so, Yao Han darted forward towards Tian Jian. His movement speed slightly surprised Tian Jian, but the man was already very ready to fend off Yao Han's sword attack.

Nah! Nah! Nah! Nah! Nah!

The sound of two twigs that were used as the sword.

Just like Yao Han, Tian also poured Qi on his twig sword so as not to break easily. However what amazed Tian Jian was the level of purity Qi that Yao Han possessed.

Based on the complaints of the two twig swords, Tian Jian knew Yao Han had a high purity Qi because he could feel that Yao Han's twig sword was stronger than his twig sword.

Feeling that it was enough to just hold on, Tian Jian gave a quick surprise attack. Yao Han immediately adjusted the change and managed to fend off Tian Jian's attacks or follow Tian Jian's swordplay speed.

"I'm not deep in swordsmanship, but have one or two things understanding of it. From the movements of Yao Han who was like a person dancing while carrying a sword, it was clear that he was influenced by your sword style, Meirong." Bing Lizi commented without turning her head, "Strange but unique."

Meirong who was right next to him only replied with a faint smile.

Tian Jian and Yao Han continued to exchange attacks. The twig sword of the two can still survive because of the flow of Qi until then a loud sound is heard.

Krakk!!!

The twig swords were both broken while giving out attacks simultaneously. Yao Han swiftly took a backward leap. The distance with Tian Jian was about ten steps. Tian Jian threw out a broken sword twig then raised his hand into the air.

Three short swords appeared somewhat transparent. Yao Han recognized it as sword Qi. Tian Jian swung his hand forward, that sword Qi shot towards Yao Han.

When there had just appeared one Tian Jian-made sword Qi, Yao Han had already pulled the jade flute embedded in his waist, so that when Tian Jian attacked him with sword Qi, he was already very prepared. Yao Han did not try to dodge but instead came face to face with those three sword Qi.

With an agile and swift movement, Yao Han shattered the sword Qi that came towards him. Despite being an heirloom, Yao Han still coated his jade flute with a sizable Qi.

After the three sword Qi disappeared, Yao Han noticed Tian Jian, preparing to face the next attack, but the man was silent as he raised his hand towards him, asking himself to stop.

Yao Han took a deep breath and eliminated the stance of the horses, at almost the same time, Tian Jian laughed out loud, leaving Yao Han confused.

"Attractive, really interesting." Tian Jian smiled widely and turned to Meirong, "Sister Hong, nearly two hundred years ago, we once pitted against each other for strength in swordsmanship. Facing your student just reminded me of those memories."

Meirong chuckled softly, "It turns out Senior still remembers it. So, what about my request?" meirong asked who was already beside Yao Han and stroked the young man's hair softly.

Tian Jian sighed softly, "No problem. Together with you, I will teach him swordsmanship and make Yao Han a great Sword Cultivator."

Before Yao Han or Meirong responded, Yutian's voice first sounded, "Han'er-! You must become more powerful in poison science than in swordsmanship!"

"Hmmm!"

Bing Lizi shook her head in astonishment, "You guys are just like little kids."

Tian Jian reacted the same, but he immediately ignored the childish behavior of the two Yao Han masters, "Han'er, just like Senior Bing, I will not be your teacher, but will teach you all my knowledge. And since my age is actually not far above Sister Hong and Brother She, you can call me Uncle Master."

"Thank you, Uncle Master Tian." Yao Han bowed respectfully as well as changing his call towards Tian Jian, "I promise to study hard and not disappoint Uncle Master Tian. Although it is not bound by the relationship of teacher and disciple, I will always respect Uncle Master as I respect my three teachers."

Tian Jian chuckled softly then shook his hand softly, "I appreciate it, but there is no need for such formalities."

Yao Han could barely resist jumping for joy. After Bing Lizi, he would also be taught by Tian Jian. Meirong once said, Tian Jian was the right person to teach Yao Han in swordsmanship. And that time finally came.

"Then take this."

Tian Jian conjured up a sword with a powerful aura making Yao Han hold his breath for a moment. As he remembered, the strongest heirloom he had ever seen and felt was the bending sword that became Meirong's belt and Yutian's silver spear.

The sword in Tian Jian's hand did indeed emit a powerful aura, but it was still weaker when compared to the two heirlooms belonging to his teacher. However Yao Han could feel that the sword aura was much stronger than his Gunbai fan.

'Heirloom of Heaven or Heavenly Heirloom?'

"I refer to this sword as the Yin Yang Sword, an heirloom sword that belongs to the lower level Heavenly Heirloom."

"This sword is actually a combination of two different swords of nature and color." Tian Jian gently tapped the Yin and Yang emblem on the hilt, the Yin Yang Sword glowed for a moment before splitting into two halves.

There are two swords. In Tian Jian's right hand, there was a sword whose entire piece was silvery-white, while in his left hand, there was a sword whose entirety was black like the night sky without the light of the moon and stars.

Everyone who witnessed it, except Bing Lizi, was amazed to see there was such a sword, especially Meirong. As one of the Sword Cultivators and for the five hundred years of his life, Meirong had only first seen a sword as magical and as amazing as the one in Tian Jian's hands.

"This black sword I call the Eternal Night Sword, the only heirloom sword I have left after making it out of the cursed Pocket Dimension." Tian Jian was referring to the Dimension of Pocket that he had accidentally discovered and entered.

"With this silvery white sword I am the Silver Sky Sword. That precious thing I took from the cursed Pocket Dimension and also that caused the destruction of that dimension."

The Silver Sky Sword and the Eternal Night Sword both included high-tier Heavenly Heirloom swords, but if put together and turned into a Yin Yang Sword, then it would be a low-level Heavenly Heirloom sword.

"It's as if these two swords are destined to complement each other, isn't it?" Tian Jian chuckled, "Take this, now you become their new owner."

A little hesitant, but after seeing Tian Jian nod his head, Yao Han accepted it with a slightly trembling hand.
