Mortal To Immortal (Book 1)

Mortal To Immortal (Book 1)
MTI 139 - Purple Star

The distance between Yao Han and the position of a group of Purple Star Sect cultivators that Meirong said was quite far, but it could be reached in a short period of time due to using the Heavenly Wind Steps.

In the visibility using his special eye strength, Yao Han saw seven people in the same uniform surrounded by dozens of humans with strange looks and body shapes. They are half-demonic humans.

This type of human was a cultivator who possessed and added strength by absorbing the Qi from the demon gems. But due to a mistake and failure in the process, they end up being half-demonic humans.

Half-stealth man will lose his human side, both from appearance and common sense. They are just as dangerous as a demon, an undead, or a mixed-blooded child who is impaired.

At the worst possible situations and conditions, a half-stealth human was far more dangerous than a horde of foundation realm-powered demons even the Core Realm.

Yao Han looked at these seven members of the Purple Star Sect, one of them was a short-bearded adult man with intermediate stage Earth Foundation strength. He could immediately guess the man was one of the elders of the Purple Star Sect.

One other thing Yao Han discovered was that there was a young man lying on the ground, looking unconscious and injured.

"Hm?" Yao Han frowned when he found out that the lying young man's condition was severe, not only physically injured, but also poisoned.

As Yao Han was already near these seven people, they put on a wary stance. Yao Han's arrival arguably appeared suddenly because before their attention was more centered on this group of half-stealth humans before them.

"Who are you, young man?" ask the grown men among them.

Yao Han gave a short greeting, "Senior, I am a traveller who happens to pass by. I saw you guys were in trouble, so I volunteered to help."

The man raised both eyebrows while watching Yao Han from top to bottom several times. After all he saw, Yao Han was a level nine Elementary realm cultivator.

According to him, Yao Han's strength did not help much, because the strength of the thirty half-demon humans there was the lowest level seven Basic Realm, while the highest was the early stage Mortal Foundation.

Plus Yao Han, there were a total of eight people. But against the thirty half-demon humans, in addition to being outnumbered, they were also outnumbered in terms of strength. And more importantly, Yao Han was a suspect stranger.

Yao Han briefly glanced at the unconscious young man, his forehead shrinking deeply when he realized that the young man had been poisoned far more severely than his physical injuries.

"What is..."

Yao Han had yet to finish his sentence, Xu Yin was already beside him. The next three counts the iron masked girl glanced towards the young man lying on the ground and exclaimed loudly.

"Yang-ge!!!"

Not only Yao Han, but the seven sect members near the two were also shocked. Xu Yin walked up to the young man and examined him, only to scream even louder.

"Yang-gee-! This is Yang-gege! What the hell happened to you?! Huhu, Yang-ge!" Xu Yin started crying. From his reaction, Yao Han understood that the unconscious young man was Xu Yang, Xu Yin's older brother.

'What kind of coincidence is this?'

There was a sense of gratitude Yao Han could find Xu Yang in a shocking situation, but he could not calm down for a while as there were still thirty half-demon humans to overcome.

Seeing that there were some half-stealthy humans coming over, Yao Han chuckled softly, "They can't be patient, huh."

Yao Han unleashed his murderous aura while walking forward three steps, shocking all of them at once stopping the several half-stealthy humans from stepping closer.

As he almost finished the hand seal he had made, slowly from Yao Han's body emitted a chill, "Defend all of you!"

Yao Han stomped his right foot and appeared ice needles quite large from within the ground that led to a half-stealth human.

Most of them died pierced by ice needles. The rest froze, becoming ice sculptures. Yao Han clasped his hands and the ice sculpture shattered.

Xu Yin did not have time to see that because she was busy crying over Xu Yang and trying to do something that could ease her brother's condition.

"The problem is settled." Yao Han nodded slowly, as if his actions just now were a small thing.

As he turned around, Yao Han saw the seven members of the Purple Star Sect looking at him in surprise with their mouths wide open. The adult man there immediately thought Yao Han was one of the members of the Northern Ice Fortress who was wandering around.

"Seniors and brothers are members of the Purple Star Sect, right? It's nice to meet you guys. There's something I want to ask you, can you wait a minute?"

"Eh? B-All right, young man. Thanks for your help." The man answered a slight stutter as well as confusion with Yao Han which was as if he happened to have affairs with them.

Yao Han nodded slowly, then walked over to Xu Yin. Xu Yang's condition turned out to be much worse than what Yao Han heard, making him sigh long.

"Yinyin, we need to find a better place to treat your brother." Yao Han patted Xu Yin's shoulder gently.

The girl stopped her cries for a moment then grabbed Yao Han's hand, "You can heal my brother, right? Let's say you can!"

"Calm down, Yinyin. I'll try my best." Yao Han replied as he calmed Xu Yin who shook his hands quite tightly.

"You must be able to heal my brother or I will hate you for life!"

Yao Han sighed softly, "You hate me you can't even change your brother's condition. Don't say it doesn't make sense."

Looking around, there was no suitable shelter to heal Xu Yang, so Yao Han immediately thought of making a home out of wood element magic.

"Wait a minute."

Yao Han moved away ten steps away from Xu Yin, the beautiful girl and the Purple Star Sect members noticed something Yao Han was about to do.

While forming a hand seal, Yao Han lowered his body into half-kneeling. His body was covered in greenish light, then placed both hands on the ground.

Soon, the ground around him shook and wooden pillars appeared which immediately formed a simple one-story building within ten counts. There are several stems and branches of leafy leaves that appear in some parts of the simple wooden house.

Xu Yin was startled and forgot about her sadness. The reactions of the Purple Star Sect members were just as shocked, even more shocked than before.

Despite knowing Yao Han could cast wood element magic, Xu Yin remained shocked to see Yao Han's ability on this one, let alone seven others.

'Could use such rare wood element magic...who exactly is this youngster?!'
