One of the uniqueness to Chen Long's legacy wood element magic is that its user can retract the Qi that has been used to form or create something.
Previously Yao Han used a certain amount of Qi to create ten large trees in front of the Medicine House so that the waiting visitors would not be stung by the sunlight.
As one of the preparations, Yao Han retracted his Qi on those ten large trees. Yao Han's movements looked strange, alternately sticking one of his hands on each tree causing curiosity.
Fortunately, the person who asked Yao Han earlier did not ask any further and directly left. Yao Han was also lazy to explain further as it would make him lie even more and say nonsense.
Right after the sun set, Yao Han again closed the Medicine House. Even though he had already done it a few times, it remained that people were always astonished because Yao Han shut himself up earlier the past few days.
Inside the Medicine House, Yao Han did the same to the building. The process was a little longer as the form was more complicated and tomorrow would start to see results from Yao Han's actions. The Medicine House and the ten large trees that stood for almost a month were going to ripen or wither in such a short time that it could be cleaned easily.
Yao Han will wait until midnight. Until then, Yao Han busied himself studying Tang An's thick book and meditated.
"Xiao Han, it's time to go." Bing Lizi woke Yao Han from a meditative position right at midnight.
Yao Han nodded slowly, then took out a piece of paper that had contained the writing he had made earlier. The paper contained messages for Zhao Yi that the man or anyone else from the Jade Treasure Shop found while inspecting the Medicine House.
Yao Han exited through the back door and stepped away quickly using the Heavenly Wind Step technique. In a short period of time, Yao Han was already on the outside of Snow Fox City. No one was aware of Yao Han's departure due to his swift movements and the desolate atmosphere of the city at midnight.
"Well, it's time to continue the journey," Yao Han murmured while looking back.
He's been living there long enough. Originally just a short stop by to get more information after meeting his old friend in the Purple Jade Sect, but ended up staying a little longer there by opening the Medicine House.
On the bright side, he had helped Shui Hua who was in critical condition and difficult to cure with the help of his own sect master. Yao Han realized Shui Lan brought Shui Hua to him because despite already explaining at length the situation, it was still difficult to get help from Feng Xian.
Yao Han didn't think too much about it, but his help made Shui Lan, Shui Hua, or the Flower Waves Sect as a whole owe him an important thing.
"Uncle Master Bing, which way should I go?"
Yao Han was going to Spring City, because the situation of the cultivator world was not good, Yao Han felt it necessary to listen to Bing Lizi's advice to look for a safer path.
Bing Lizi is the most appropriate person to be asked for advice, because it has lived longer and knows quite a lot of the ins and outs of the Green Forest Country.
There was a safe path Bing Lizi remembered, only that she did not know her current condition as it had been a hundred years since she had disappeared. If the conditions were still the same, that path would be the safest path for Yao Han to go through.
"Senior, is there anything special about this path you call?" Meirong asked.
Bing Lizi explained rather than privilege, it is more appropriate to call it uniqueness. The path was relatively safe since there would be no demon Yao Han encountered there. It was still possible for Yao Han to encounter cultivators, ordinary humans, or not-so-dangerous spirit beasts.
"As long as the conditions do not change after a hundred years have passed, that path will remain a safe path for anyone to pass through. I hope so."
"Not to worry. The road is almost five hundred years old. As I recall, before I disappeared, the condition of that path never changed."
Yao Han and the others were getting curious, but Bing Lizi did not explain any further.
"You'll understand what I mean when we get there." Bing Lizi smiled meaningfully.
Yao Han and the others were then taken aback when Bing Lizi said the safe path was a dense forest.
"Senior Bing, don't joke. The dense forest is always synonymous with stealth or danger." Meirong protested because she felt Bing Lizi was putting Yao Han in danger.
"I'm not kidding and don't misunderstand. This forest is different from other types of forests, especially very contrary to forests such as the Poison Mist Forest. Like I said before, you'll understand what I mean when we get there." Bing Lizi acted relaxed while smiling soothingly.
Yao Han who had absolutely no idea of the forest path in question, only scratched his head that was not itchy. Bing Lizi thought for a moment, before asking Yao Han to continue on towards.
"If it's from Snow Fox City, you should go to the northwest. The nearest safe line is there."
"Nearby? Does it mean that something is farthest? How many safe lanes are there in Green Forest Country, Senior Bing?" ask Yutian.
"Hm, there are all eight paths and both are in the form of dense forests. Each of them is scattered in the eight winds of the Green Forest Country."
Meirong, Yutian, and Tian Jian frowned. "If it's that much, why haven't we heard of it?"
"That's because you're not natives of the Green Forest Country and almost never set foot here except to fight. Whereas I've been part of the Green Forest Country since I was thirty."
Indirectly Bing Lizi insinuated the three people, making them somewhat embarrassed.
Along the way, Yao Han met some demons. Instead of feeling any hassles, Yao Han was happy because of the opportunity he used to relax his muscles.
Sometimes Yao Han would be faced with a single type of demon, sometimes a group containing no more than five demons. Its sheer number and their strength were not very high, making Yao Han relatively easy to defeat them.
One or two stealth tails ended up being the food dish of Yao Han and the Dimensional Pagoda dwellers, while the rest became the nutrition of the Dimension Pagoda.
Five days into the journey, Yao Han finally arrived at the forest path that Bing Lizi was referring to.
