Mortal To Immortal (Book 1)

Mortal To Immortal (Book 1)
MTI 136 - Rainbow Poison

Yao Han saw that there were about thirty people in black clothes who were troublemakers at Chu Fu and Jia Lin's wedding.

As for the information he heard, these intruders who came were all cultivators with varying levels of practice. Most of them looked the same age as him.

Still emitting a murderous aura, Yao Han observed the middle-aged man yelling towards him.

'Fine Foundation peak stage...' Yao Han read the level of the man's cultivation practice.

"Don't interfere in your business?" Yao Han smirked, "The Chu and Jia families are my acquaintances and I am an upcoming guest at their family wedding. Then how can I not interfere after you guys messed up here?"

Yao Han was not afraid of all those troublemakers. He can handle them all. Merely, he was worried about the innocent people who came as guests.

Some of them were already victims, so little heart Yao Han said he could not stand still just looking at her.

"You know them? Heh!" This middle-aged man smiled mockingly, "Don't be a bad luck hero! You don't understand the reason behind our arrival here!"

"Some, bad luck, or night.. Do I care?! You must receive a reply from your actions!"

"Hmph, you arrogant young man! Not knowing your limits! This is my business with the Chu family! I have come to avenge the death of my disciple!" The man felt superior due to the greater number and practices that were above Yao Han.

Yao Han frowned, then there was the sound of someone familiar shouting.

"Tabib Yao-! Help us!"

Yao Han turned his head and found Chu Zi who was cowering in fear together with his family members. He too late realized there were casualties on the part of the Chu and Jia families.

Yao Han's eyes widened and his breathing was restrained when he saw Chu Fu's body lying on the floor headless, while his head was not far from his body, as well as Jia Lin who was already a corpse with a stab wound on the chest.

"You guys killed brother Chu Fu and Miss Jia Lin?! That's outrageous!"

Yao Han made a hand seal quickly then both of his hands touched the floor. In two counts, the floors throughout the restaurant shook and long, thorny roots immediately wrapped around the bodies of all the vandals there were no exception.

Yao Han's movements were swift until they were late in reacting and guessing what Yao Han was doing.

"Argh! What's this?!"

The screams of pain of the vandals were heard. The thorns from the root that Yao Han had raised were plunged into their skin. Xu Yin was surprised by the wood elemental magic Yao Han unleashed.

These fastening thorny roots make those at the top of the Foundation even though it is difficult to escape.

After being convinced that no target had escaped, Yao Han immediately approached the Chu family.

"Tabib Yao's... Physician Yao..." Chu Zi and the others were terrified, their faces pale as well as wet with tears. They just lost a family member in a horrible way, "My son Fu'er..."

Yao Han clenched his hands tightly, cobbled with the feeling of losing the Chu family. From the Jia family's own side, Jia Wu and his wife were lying on the floor, dead along with their only daughter, Jia Lin.

"Uncle Chu, I'm sorry I came late..."

"It's not your fault, Physician Yao..." Chu Zi's voice trembled.

"Uncle Chu, we can talk more later. I have to clear up the problem first."

"Aragh!"

"Brother Chu Fang!" Yao Han approached Chu Fang and wanted to check on him, but first a loud voice came from the middle-aged man the leader of this troublemaker group.

"Haha-h! Goody! The poison reacted quickly!" The middle-aged man laughed like a madman.

One count later, from the Dimension of the Yutian Pagoda exclaimed, "Han'er, he was exposed to the Rainbow Poison!" Yutian could tell as he immediately examined Chu Fang's body using the Heavenly Sense.

Yao Han's heart was barely dislodged. Rainbow Poison is not an ordinary poison, but rather one of the deadly poisons and belongs to the eighth grade poison.

As with pills, poisons also have classes, one to ten. The highest grade poison was able to kill a peak stage Soul realm cultivator.

To the Rainbow Poison, despite being an 'only' eighth grade poison, but including the ten deadliest poisons of the Heart Poison Valley due to the effects it had caused.

This poison comes from the Rainbow Tail Scorpion. His body was black, but the end of his stinger was as colorful as a rainbow that fused perfectly. The physical characteristics of Rainbow Poison are easily recognized in the form of colorful liquids, without taste or smell.

The victim of this poison would feel two types of pain before dying with the body crushed like melted ice. First, pain such as being stabbed by thousands of needles throughout the body accompanied by a feeling of heat when the weather is cold or second, a cold stabbing the bones when the weather is hot.

Whether it was coincidence or not, the day that had gone by that night was cold and slightly overcast, making Chu Fang scream in pain like being stabbed by thousands of needles followed by a stinging heat.

"Rainbow Poison.." murmured Yao Han that Xu Yin heard, making the girl's eyes widen in shock, "How dare you play around with poison!" Yao Han stared intently lustfully at the man.

With a grimacing face enduring the pain, the man smiled mockingly, "Then why?! You won't be able to cure him! It was the Rainbow Poison! One of the worst poisons ever! Hahaha! Ough..."

Eager to give a slap to the man, but Yao Han held back and was still aware of his top priority.

"Tabby Yao..." Chu Zi shivered in fear and panic. He had already lost his second son, lest his first son lose his life.

"Relax, Uncle Chu, I can handle it."

"Can you?!" Xu Yin asked in shock, "You have the antidote?"

"Yes, can. I don't have a perfect antidote, but I have a pill that can ease his condition for a while."

Yao Han popped out a jade bottle and took out its contents. There was a glowing purplish-blue colored pill. After successfully restraining Chu Fang's thrashing movements, Yao Han stuffed the pill into his mouth and helped drain the Qi.

Within a few breaths of time, Chu Fang no longer screamed and fell asleep in the lap of his wife who was crying profusely.

"What?! How could?! You-you!" The middle-aged man was very surprised to see Yao Han could make Chu Fang's condition even better. He was very certain that the poison was hard to overcome by the antidote pill though.

Yao Han walked up to the man while emitting a murderous aura that was much more concentrated than before.

THE PLAQUE!

A slap Yao Han gave her before asking in a cold tone.

"Where did you get the Rainbow Poison? Do you have any connection to the Valley of the Poison Heart?"
