Mortal To Immortal (Book 1)
MTI 045 - Flute Game

With Fu Mian's instructions, Yao Han easily found the Fire Star Inn. The building is no less magnificent than the Jade Treasure Shop, consists of three floors and in the front there are two guards with peak stage Earth Foundation practices.

The two guards greeted Yao Han well and let him in. There were three reception girls with the same practice as the two guards, namely the Earth Foundation.

"Welcome to the Fire Star Inn, how can we help you, Young Master?" one of the girls greeted Yao Han kindly while smiling sweetly.

"Yes, I want to rent a room. How much for a day?"

The girl explained that per day, the cheapest and most commonly rented room was valued at twenty spirit stones, the middle quality room was valued at sixty spirit stones, and the good quality was valued at one hundred spirit stones.

"Our accommodation also provides one of the best rooms. Per day it was valued at three hundred spirit stones." The girl closed her explanation, "Young Master wants to rent which room and for how many days?"

"Please wait a minute." Yao Han acted like a thinking person.

Yao Han asked the opinions of his two teachers.

"Actually renting the best room for you doesn't matter as it has a lot of spirit stones, but it will attract unnecessary attention. Just choose a medium-quality room," Meirong replied.

"Good, Teacher."

Yao Han turned his attention to the girl who asked him to speak earlier, "Miss, I want to rent one medium quality room for five days."

Yao Han took out three hundred spirit stones. He did not realize his little act made the three girls in front of him hold their breath for a moment.

"Okay, Young Master. Here's your room key. Let me deliver."

After Yao Han and one of their friends were not within sight distance, the two remaining girls whispered to each other.

"Young Master was definitely not an ordinary person."

"I agree with you. With the spirit stones he paid just now, he could also pay for the best room for one day."

"You think we should tell the manager about this?"

"I think it's best that we don't act wrong."

"Miss, thank you for delivering me. Please accept this."

The girl who delivered Yao Han to the room she had rented was sculpting. He held back so that his body would not tremble and leaped in excitement as Yao Han gave one blue spirit stone as a tip.

Other than spirit stones, Yao Han also gave three small bottles that faintly gave off a fragrant scent. It was a fragrance he made from the Blue Lotus Flower extract.

"Thank you, Young Master."

Yao Han nodded slowly while smiling faintly. After the girl left him, Yao Han entered the inn room.

The size of the room was about twice the size of the room Yao Han occupied in Feng Xian's residence. There were two fairly large windows, one padded mattress and a few extra items.

Meirong and Yutian walked out from the Dimension of Pagoda, then together made an invisible barrier formation that sealed the room.

"Teacher, is every business venture building of a big sect always guarded by high-level cultivators?" Yao Han asked as he was reminded of the guards of the Jade Treasure Shop and the Fire Star Inn.

Meirong and Yutian chuckled.

"The guards you saw earlier did indeed have a high level of practice for their age. However, to the nine-star and ten-star great sects, they were nothing more than guards. Unlike the case if they were in a small or medium-sized sect, they could be the sect leader or an important elder." Yutian explained.

Yao Han was bearded after getting a bit of an idea about the difference in strength based on sect level.

Looking up, Yao Han found the night sky decorated with half-full moons. There are also clouds that slightly block the moonlight. Then he took out the painting equipment.

For nearly half an hour he painted a scene of the night sky and after seeing the results, Yao Han let out a long sigh.

"Lumayan, good." Meirong stroked Yao Han's head gently. He understood Yao Han was disappointed by his ordinary painting ability, "Didn't Senior Feng say your abilities will get better after seeing the wider world? So don't get discouraged first."

Yao Han smiled at the words of entertainment from Meirong. Yao Han saved back the painting tools.

"Why not just play the flute? This one of your abilities isn't better than painting?" chirp Yutian.

Yao Han then took out his flute, after taking a deep breath, he blew it. His breath filled with Qi and a melodious roar began to sound in the air.

The purity and strength of Qi Yao Han made the sound of the flute sound to be heard for hundreds of meters. The melodious voice comforted and spoiled the ears of everyone who heard it.

Meirong and Yutian closed their eyes with a smile, enjoying Yao Han's flute game which became one of their new favorites.

"Who's playing a flute this good?"

"Where did it come from?"

Some people were amazed by the sound of the flute.

"If I don't take a wrong look, Brother Yao brought a flute. Could it be he who played it?"

In his room, Fu Mian stroked his chin. He had briefly seen the jade-green flute embedded on Yao Han's waist.

"Had it been true, it meant that Senior East Wind disciple was not only a great Alchemist at a young age, but also a reliable musical instrument player," praise Fu Mian again continue his work while accompanied by the sound of a flute.

Satisfied playing the flute for nearly half an hour, Yao Han decided to meditate.

This time Yao Han's meditation was a little different. After forming a hand spell, his body began to float and he was cross-legged in a hovering position.

This was part of one of the wind elemental magic that Feng Xian taught. Meditating while maintaining the stability of the body position, Yao Han did this in order to increase his focus.

Next day.

Yao Han just opened his eyes when the sunlight hit him.

"Oh, it's morning."

Yao Han stretched his muscles and breathed in the morning fresh air.

"Hm... What activities should I do today?" mumbling slowly.

Yao Han had not planned his activities during his time in the Moonlight City. It was true that he wanted to enjoy the atmosphere of the city, but was confused to start his day.

"How about breakfast first? As I recall in this town there is a special restaurant for cultivators?" Meirong.

Yao Han's need for food was indeed reduced, equivalent to the ability of a Foundation realm cultivator in terms of holding back hunger. However, Yao Han was the type of person who liked to eat.

"You mean Nagarasa Restaurant?" yutian and Meirong asked, confirming, "You'd better try Han'er there, it's the best restaurant in the Blue Moon Continent."
