Yao Han did not immediately reply, but rather was silent for a moment while staring closely at the creature in front of him.
"I don't mean to be impolite, but I asked first."
Yao Han responded to Kirin's soft laughter, "Young man, I can see you are not a bad person, but your attitude is quite good. I can know the full name of East Wind because I know him close, at least close enough than most people."
"Hm? Whatchu mean? I've lived on the Moon Star Island for a few years, but I've never heard of him telling me about having a spirit animal acquaintance like you."
Kirin's eyes widened, "You ever stayed with the East Wind?! Young man, you..." His voice contained shock.
Yao Han sighed, "My name is Yao Han, Teacher Feng Xian's disciple the East Wind."
"Murids?! You're a disciple of East Wind?! Impossible!" Kirin was even more surprised that her voice raised, "Young man, don't lie to me."
"Why did I lie to you? It's no use. Now tell me who you really are?"
"Wait a minute, if you're a disciple of the East Wind, it's no wonder you know about the Four Guards quite a lot. Can you name them full? I'll answer your question later."
Without hesitation Yao Han replied, "Teacher Feng Xian the East Wind, Ancestor Bing Lizi the Northern Ice, Ancestor Xi Lei the Western Lightning, and Ancestor Chen Long the Southern Dragon."
The Kirin coughed softly, "Young man, besides your teacher, why did you call them ancestors?"
Yao Han raised next to his brows, "Their age is already so old, close to a thousand years old, it's only natural that I call him an ancestor, right? Now it's your turn to answer my question." Yao Han held back in annoyance.
Kirin let out a long sigh, "Maybe you won't believe it, but I am one of the people you just mentioned that..."
Right after Kirin finished speaking, her body emitted a bluish-white light. Then there was the figure of a man wearing a sky blue robe. His face was handsome, friendly, and his appearance was as learned as a scholar.
"I am Bing Lizi. People call me Northern Ice" the man said, smiling warmly.
"Encestor Bing?! You are Ancestor Bing?!" Yao Han was surprised, it was also due to hearing Meirong's exclamation from the Dimension Pagoda.
"She looks like Senior Bing, I still remember her face even though she last met over a hundred years ago!"
Bing Lizi coughed softly, "Young man, stop calling me ancestor. You can call me Senior Bing."
Yao Han regained his senses, then knelt down and bowed, "Junior Yao Han gave his regards to Ancestor Bing."
Bing Lizi coughed again and more loudly, "Young man, aren't you listening to me?"
"Our ancestor Bing, Junior apologized for being disrespectful before."
'This child...' Bing Lizi was a little furious, "Stop calling me ancestor, just call me Senior. Do I look so old that I'm called an ancestor? Stand up, don't act like you worship me."
"Ng. I've never called anyone else Senior. Can I call you Uncle Master Bing?" Yao Han stood up slowly.
"Hm? You think me and your teacher are brothers? But yes, if it makes you comfortable. Call me Uncle Master. At least it's better than being called an ancestor." Bing Lizi let out a long breath.
"Uncle Master Bing, what are you doing here? Why are you disguised as a Kirin? And isn't your level of practice supposed to be in the Great Soul Realm?"
"Young man, your questions are too many and in a row. Before I answer your question, I need you to convince me that you are truly Brother Feng's disciple."
Yao Han scratched his cheek awkwardly, before shaking his hand. A large object appeared in his right hand.
Bing Lizi's eyes widened, "Gunbai Fan?!" His gaze stared fixedly at the thing in Yao Han's hands, "Only Brother Feng has that thing as an heirloom, I didn't expect him to pass it on to you. So you're really his student, yeah... What an interesting surprise."
Bing Lizi stroked her clean chin without a beard, staring Yao Han from top to bottom repeatedly with an interested look.
"I want to see the extent of Brother Feng's disciple's ability, I hope you don't mind testing you a little, young man."
Bing Lizi did not give Yao Han a chance to digest her words. His right leg stomped onto the snowy ground, quickly emerging large-sized ice spikes that pointed swiftly at Yao Han.
The young man was a little surprised, but was quite quick to dodge. More and more ice thorns sprung up and chased after him as if having a thought of their own.
"Uncle Master Bing-! What does this mean?!" yao Han grumbled while dodging the ice thorn attack nimbly for using the Heavenly Wind Steps. Bing Lizi did not reply, but rather smiled faintly watching Yao Han.
Not getting an answer, Yao Han clucked in annoyance. While continuing to dodge, Yao Han poured a large amount of earth and metal elemental Qi on the Gunbai fan, then took one long leap. Yao Han lifted Gunbai's fan with both hands and then smashed it into the ground.
OH, BAAMM!!!
Krakk! Krakk! Krakk!
The snowy ground within a twenty-meter radius trembled quite violently and the ice spikes not only stopped chasing after Yao Han, but shattered into flat ice grains with the ground.
Bing Lizi laughed out loud, "Interesting, what an interesting! Not only did you inherit Gunbai's fan heirloom, you also mastered the Heavenly Wind Steps. It's no wonder that you can master Brother Feng's Wind Conqueror Style."
Bing Lizi laughed again as she approached Yao Han who was smiling wryly and being wary of her, "Don't be taken heart, young man. I was just kidding you a little. Now I'm absolutely sure you're Brother Feng's student. To be honest, today I really received a big surprise. Not only was he still alive, the old man finally had a disciple at nearly a thousand years of age."
Yao Han slightly frowned, "Uncle Master Bing, you better keep your words. No matter you know my teacher and belong to one of the Four Great Heroes, I won't let you or anyone else talk bad about my teacher."
Bing Lizi's smile disappeared slowly. He could see Yao Han very seriously with his words and felt a killing aura slowly oozing out from Yao Han's body. But he was not offended by the young man's words and attitude, but he smiled meaningfully.
'Brother Feng is really lucky to have a disciple who is not only talented, but also very devoted to him.'
"All right, I'm sorry." Bing Lizi could clearly see Yao Han was so sensitive if anyone were to talk about Feng Xian, "Ah, yes, what was your name earlier, young man?"
"My name is Yao Han. Sorry if I'm being disrespectful to Uncle Master Bing." Yao Han slightly bowed, "Uncle Master Bing can call me Xiao Han like Master Feng called me."
"Xiao Han's? Hm, considering his character that is widely known to many people, it turns out that he can also call a young person like you with a fairly familiar call, yes. Alright, I will call you Xiao Han as well."

Author Note:
Finally the scene of Yao Han's encounter with the other Four Conferred Knights materialized as well. Ahaha! Something that has not been realized in the novel Become The Greatest Cultivator and Mortal to Immortal first version.
The initial plan in the previous two novels was that Yao Han would meet the other Four Conferred Knights on the way after leaving Flower Hill City.
A little similar to the initial concept of this second version of the Mortal to Immortal novel, that was first Yao Han would meet the members of the Poison Heart Valley and one of the young geniuses from one of the ten-star sects, before finally meeting Bing Lizi.
However, that concept I changed by speeding up the meeting of Yao Han and Bing Lizi so that the development of the storyline of the Young Cultivator Meeting did not encounter any obstacles.
So much and don't forget the likes, Gaes.
