Mortal To Immortal (Book 1)
Ep. 108 - Not Right

Feng Xian laughed softly noticing She Liu's 'suspices. Not directly replying, he stretched out a jade slip. She Liu received a slight hesitation and saw the contents alternating with Xu Lao.

Xu Lao and She Liu both frowned looking at the contents of the jade slip. Not writing, but a 'picture' of a young man with a friendly face and a warm smile. His eyes were gray in tune with the robe he was wearing.

"You're right, the person I'm referring to is my student. His name is Yao Han. You don't have to worry about whether or not he'll help, because he'll do it."

"Senior, I don't understand. If your disciple can help us with his abilities, shouldn't you be able to too? Remembering you are his teacher."

"Logic is simple, but my treatment other than long, also may cause long-term side effects. While my disciple, he has a much more effective means with no side effects at all."

Feng Xian also added, a few months ago, the Patriarch of the Northern Ice Fortress, Ice King Bing Houyi met himself not long after he had eliminated the formation that made Star Moon Island invisible to others. Bing Houyi was also the first person to find himself reopening himself to the outside world.

Bing Houyi came with her youngest child, the sick Bing Yunzi. It was not him who healed the poor little boy, but his disciple, Yao Han. In addition to curing Yunzi's illness, Yaao Han also helped clear her meridian pathways so that she could undergo the practice of immortality.

Xu Lao and She Liu still remembered Yunzi's condition back then was more or less as bad as Xu Yang's current condition, and they could not cure Yunzi perfectly without any side effects.

Hearing Feng Xian's explanation, the two got a shock at a truth that was almost unbelievable. Despite the slight hesitation, they tried not to show it to Feng Xian.

Despite the confusion, they also did not dare to consider Feng Xian bragging about the abilities of his disciple who looked younger than Xu Yang, as Feng Xian was famous for upholding his pride.

"Based on your story Senior, it's no wonder your disciple earned a nickname in the world of cultivators in such a short period of time."

"That's not an important thing to discuss right now. I have you meet my disciple because other than his medicinal abilities being better than mine, from him you will get a shock that will affect the Valley of the Poison Heart as a whole."

"What do you mean, Senior Feng?"

The shock affecting the Valley of the Poison Heart? Of course it's a big thing and very important to them.

"I can't say it, rather, I have no right to say it. You'll know if you've met my students."

Xiao Ni who had been there from the beginning and had been listening to their conversation wanted to curse Feng Xian. In his opinion, it was better for Feng Xian to just say bluntly and immediately contact Yao Han to return to Star Moon Island.

But one thing that confused Xiao Ni was that Xu Lao and She Liu did not bring Xu Yang to Star Moon Island to be treated directly, regardless of whether Feng Xian was willing to help or not.

The same thing then asked Feng Xian and after knowing the answer, made the East Wind snort amusedly.

"There's something wrong with the contents of this Xu Yang boy's head. Was he intending to die outside the sect? Not only was he stubborn, he was also stupid. Doesn't he realize he's adding to the burden on you and his father? Heh." Feng Xian could not help but laugh at Xu Yang's behavior.

Feng Xian reminded them to immediately look for his disciple who was traveling in the Green Forest Country region. From Yutian, Feng Xian knew the Poison Heart Valley had a special group of tracking cultivators, so it should be easier to find Yao Han.

"Alright, Senior Feng. We're resigning ourselves."

After leaving and not seeing the shadows of Xu Lao and She Liu, Xiao Ni asked Feng Xian.

"Senior, why didn't you tell your student's position? At least they're a little lighter burden."

"What does it matter to me? Unless they're willing to pay dearly for the information I've provided, maybe I'll. Let them try harder."

Xiao Ni stared exasperatedly at Feng Xian. Had he been stronger than that East Wind, he had long since landed a blow or two on Feng Xian's head because of his bad attitude.

"Muridmu Yao Han will protest if he finds out about your attitude, Senior Feng. Without you realizing it, you're being cruel because it's like letting that Xu Yang boy die of poisoning at any moment."

"It's not my fault I'm being cruel, that kid is stupid. Since the boy was outside the sect, there was a chance that he would meet Xiao Han."

"How could you think that's possible? Both are in two different countries.

Feng Xian smirked faintly, "Whose sky's destiny knows."

***

Yao Han's safe return with no injuries at all made Hua Ren able to breathe a sigh of relief. Yao Han had no idea Hua Ren had always been worried ever since he had gone hunting the demons around Flower Hill City.

"Mayor, come to my house tonight. I'll treat your hand."

"What do you mean by cure? My hands are so big, can you grow them back?" Hua Ren felt Yao Han was joking around and giving her false hope.

"Yes, that's what I mean."

"Eh? Can you do it?!"

Seeing the look in Yao Han's eyes of confidence, Hua Ren tried to believe. Actually Yao Han couldn't do it on his own, he still needed outside help.

Meirong recalled that the student had once promised to find a way to make Hua Ren's condition better, so he decided to help by giving one of his precious Fenix feathers to regrow Hua Ren's stumped hand.

In the evening, Hua Ren came excitedly as well as curious. Yao Han gave a message so that Hua Ren would not tell anyone in detail how he treated. After Hua Ren solemnly promised, Yao Han began the process.

In Yao Han's left hand, there was one unique golden-red feather. Hua Ren was curious and tried not to ask about the feather as it exuded a strangely warm aura.

"Mayor, this will be a little uncomfortable, please hang on."

Hua Ren was feeling apprehensive, but believed Yao Han had no bad intentions on him. Hua Ren took a deep breath and nodded slowly.

The process is fairly easy, Yao Han simply stick the Fenix feather on the stumped hand. The feathers then burned by themselves and gathered at one point. Pain and heat, that was the discomfort Hua Ren felt.

In addition to the Fenix feathers, Yao Han also drained the pure Qi of the wood element and water in large enough quantities to reduce pain and speed up the regeneration process of lost body parts.

Miracles happen. Hua Ren widened his eyes as he watched the forearm of his left hand slowly grow back.

Not the same as before, Hua Ren's new left hand was much stronger.
