Ep. 97 - Their Story

"So, that's the story about my Uncle Master Bing, Senior Tian." Yao Han closed his sentence with a faint smile.

Previously Bing Lizi had asked Yao Han to tell her a story first. Yao Han told me a story long enough in outline but quite complete. He misses little things that are not important. There was nothing he tried to cover from Bing Lizi and Tian Jian knowing both of them were good and trustworthy people.

Often the look on the surprised face was shown by Bing Lizi and Tian Jian, to the point that it was almost difficult to refrain from cutting through Yao Han's story. However after Yao Han finished his story, the two of them were silent as they stared fixedly at Yao Han.

Meirong and Yutian, as well as Bolang in the form of the Night Wolf just smiled and laughed inwardly seeing the two people who were stunned by being too surprised.

Had it not been for the three of them already knew Yao Han first, they would have definitely shown the same reaction and considered Yao Han's story to be just a delusion.

"Xiao Han, I borrow your hand."

Yao Han stretched out his right hand to examine Bing Lizi and not long after that the old man let out a long sigh.

"You really have five pure spirit roots. I can only say that you are a monster, Xiao Han."

Yao Han scratched his cheek while smiling awkwardly, "Uncle Master Bing, I think it's enough that Master Feng calls me a monster, not you either."

"I don't think there's anything wrong with Brother Feng calling you that. If you are a small monster, then Brother Feng is a big monster. I thought it was already terrifying there was a cultivator with extraordinary talent like Brother Feng, it turned out that he had a disciple with cultivation talent that was far more terrifying than him."

Bing Lizi's answer made Yao Han and the others curious because it contained something hidden, so Yao Han asked her.

Starting with the story about him and Yutian, their fight, their change of form, also which led indirectly to the great war of cultivators twenty years ago, Feng Xian's involvement in the war, the, as well as their new life on Star Moon Island until finally becoming Yao Han as a joint disciple.

The reactions of Bing Lizi and Tian Jian could be said to be almost the same, but there were some things that made them think differently.

One of the things that surprised Bing Lizi was Feng Xian who intervened directly to stop the war twenty years ago. While Tian Jian was thinking about the Immortal Sword Sect being the main cause of the feud of Meirong and Yutian, as well as the war of cultivators twenty years ago.

"It may sound strange, but I strongly support Brother She's actions. If you don't kill him or I find out early, then I'll kill the trash myself. Sister Hong, what makes you want to get engaged to someone like that?"

In the story Meirong also explained the cause of himself and Yutian fighting, namely the killing of Meirong's fiancee in Yutian's hands. The green man killed not without reason. The man who became Meirong's fiancee in fact was not a good person, despite being part of the white flow.

Unfortunately, Yutian was a step too late when he learned of this, even the abductees and abuse victims died in terrible conditions. Without a second thought, Yutian vented his tantrums at Meirong's fiancee and finished her off in the most painful manner.

Yutian sent the head of Meirong's fiancee to the Sky Mountain Sect, as it was the only remaining limb. In addition, it indirectly announced to the world especially Meirong that he was the killer of the fiancee of the Goddess of Fire Sword.

Yutian was also intending to open the pretty woman's eyes as to what her fiance's true nature was. But enveloped in an unbearable rage, Meirong challenges Yutian in a fight and the two engage in combat for seven days and seven nights.

Tian Jian as a cultivator who had once been part of the Eternal Sword Sect felt ashamed that there were members of the white flow sect who were like that.

Meirong smiled faintly, "Senior, let that be the past between us. I've heard this ugly snake's explanation anyway. At least we have made peace and now choose to be in a neutral stream. You could say we followed in your footsteps and Senior Four Corners."

"It's surprising the story about you guys, but I'm glad you can make peace. I'm curious about the world's reaction to knowing this." Tian Jian's response was more or less the same as Bing Lizi wanted to convey, "Senior Bing, isn't it Senior Feng who stopped the war back then more shocking?"

Among the heroes of the Four Corners, Chen Long was the one who liked to wander the most. Often he goes to mysterious or unspoiled places of humans, causing him to discover many things, be it information or valuable objects.

One day Chen Long planned to travel again for the umpteenth time and invited Bing Lizi. Because he was free, the Northern Ice accepted the invitation of the Southern Dragon. They travel undercover because they do not want to be recognized by others.

On the way, they found an entrance to the Pocket Dimension. Not an ordinary Pocket Dimension because it was inhabited by a herd of one of the high-tier spirit beasts, the Nine-Tailed Jade Fire Fox. The existence of both of them disliked, so the battle broke out.

What impressed Chen Long and Bing Lizi was that the lowest strength of the spirit beast herd existed in the early stage Soul Realm, so the fight could not be resolved easily and lasted for days.

In the end, Chen Long and Bing Lizi faced off against their leader, a Fox Queen, whose strength turned out to match that of Feng Xian.

"The fight left me and Brother Chen severely injured, as well as that Fox Queen. I thought I would die before I closed my eyes. But in fact I woke up not far from this cave in the form of Kirin as you saw before. Lucky for me, it was Tian Jian who found me and cared for me for quite some time."
