Mortal To Immortal (Book 1)
Ep. 90 - Sky Mountain

Sky Scraping Mountain, a mountain that is part of the largest mountain range in the Blue Cloud Country region is the highest land on the Blue Moon Continent. It is so named, because the peak almost reaches the sky and penetrates the cloud ranks.

Sky Scrapping Mountain is one of the most famous lands for being the residence of one of the oldest sects standing in the Blue Moon Continent, the Sky Mountain sect. This sect was not only already so old, but it also became part of the ten-star sect of white flow cultivators.

Sky Scratch Mountain was surrounded by five smaller sized mountains that were also part of the Sky Mountain Sect. The Skyscraper Mountain became the residence of the Patriarch, the Great Elder, and most of the other elders. While the other five mountains had other functions, such as training grounds, pill making, mission taking, place of punishment, and treasure storage.

The Sky Mountain Sect had experienced the golden times of hundreds of years several times by having so many high-level cultivators. One of those golden ages was because it had two cultivators whose names and powers were highly respected in the world of cultivators of the Blue Moon Continent.

They were Ji Guang the Pillar of Light and Hong Meirong the Fire Sword Goddess, two senior cultivators who became the main force of the Sky Mountain Sect. Other sects, no matter the flow, would think twice if they wanted to do bad to the Sky Mountain Sect.

The disappearance of the Fire Sword Goddess due to her feud with the She Yutian Poison Gate became one of the great blows for the Sky Mountain Sect. They originally wanted to make a calculation with the Valley of the Poison Heart, but since Meirong and Yutian disappeared at the same time, they held back.

The basis of the feud both caused the Poison Gate to kill Meirong's fiancee who came from the Immortal Sword Sect. The party of the late fiancee Meirong did not have high patience, thus inviting the Sky Mountain Sect to unite and fight against the Poison Heart Valley.

Who would have thought, a war that originally involved three ten-star sects would involve more parties, in order to reduce the strength of one stream. This war also became one of the biggest wars, lasting for two years, and only stopped after being stopped by one of the most unexpected figures by all cultivators, feng Xian the East Wind.

The war did stop leaving some regrets because there was no gain, precisely the loss they got. The losses were initially not great but since Feng Xian had intervened, not a few who were seriously injured were even killed.

The Sky Mountain Sect, which was one of the main parties involved in the war, chose to shut down from the outside world and reorganize itself in order to gather the power that disappeared during the war.

Meirong's quest was routinely carried out by the Sky Mountain Sect, as well as the Poison Heart Valley which sought Yutian's whereabouts. Not infrequently the almost simultaneous search led to small disputes and tensions.

Losing the Fire Sword Goddess was indeed a huge blow, but it was slightly treated because the Sky Mountain Sect had a new generation of geniuses who could be the substitute for the Fire Sword Goddess. Her name was Huang Mingzhu, a beautiful girl whose practice had barely reached the fourteenth level of the Basic Realm.

With her high beauty and talent, it was no wonder this girl got the nickname as the Fairy of Light. Huang Mingzhu was considered the number two Fire Sword Goddess in the future due to her sword talent.

Huang Mingzhu was born with above average talent because her spirit root had only two elements, fire and metal. Another blessing that Huang Mingzhu had was a special eye named Golden Heart Eye, which could see the truth and lies of a person, one type of eye that is quite feared by many people because it can sometimes read the contents of one's mind and heart.

Huang Mingzhu's status in the sect was indeed special regardless of her growing up to be a talented beautiful girl or not, as she became an adopted child as well as a direct disciple of the Heavenly Mountain Sect's Great Elder, Ji Guang the Pillar of Light. The nickname Fairy of Light is also due to the nickname of his adoptive father.

Mingzhu was not the only genius disciple of the Sky Mountain Sect, there was one more talented disciple, namely Ji Wentian, the only son of the Patriarch of the Sky Mountain Sect. Born with a pure earth element spirit root and possessing a special body named Sword Spirit Body, the same special body type was possessed by Meirong.

Wentian and Mingzhu became two genius disciples who would repeat the golden age of the Sky Mountain Sect as the Light Pillar and Fire Sword Goddess had once achieved. Even Wentian was considered the most talented young cultivator of his generation.

The Thousand Swords Mountain, one of the small mountains surrounding the Sky Scratch Mountain became the main place to practice the Sword Dao and Magic Dao in the Sky Mountain Sect. Sect members who were mostly deep in swordsmanship would always come to this small mountain to practice.

The main training hall of the Sword Dao will always be crowded with visitors, be it because there are those who practice sparring or just watch the training of others. Several times the main training hall was once very crowded and crowded visitors because they wanted to see two people who were always waiting for when practicing swordsmanship, as is the case today.

On one of the practice fields, two people of opposite sex with above average levels faced each other, namely Ji Wentian and Huang Mingzhu.

The attention of the visitors more leads to the figure of Mingzhu. Although still a teenager and not even twenty years old, the beautiful girl has the ideal body shape that many women crave.

Slim and slim. Dark brown hair breaks down to the waist. The skin is bright and clean without stains. Her soft lips looked natural red. But the most interesting thing about this beautiful girl was her pair of golden brown eyes. Every glance of his eyes was so alluring to everyone, be it men or women.

"Aish, every time I practice the sword with you, it's always like this. Mingzhu, you make me lose shine." - Wentian.

Mingzhu smiled faintly, "Don't you say that, don't you see there are enough girls coming here to see your good looks?" the reply was a little tempting.

"Yes you're right, I should have gotten a lot of compliments today from the girls, but because of your presence it's not possible."

"I must admit you're very confident, but I won't deny that." Wentian clucked softly, "Continue complaining of no use, we'd better finish our match practice today."

"We haven't even started yet, you should have said that daritadi." Mingzhu shook her head slowly and drew her sword. A moment later his body emitted a bright yellow light.

Wentian took a deep breath and his body emitted a silvery light. Wentian and Mingzhu moved in about the same time, the swords of the two immediately clashing.

Trang! Trang! Trang!

The sound of the twangs of the swords were both clearly heard in the ears of every spectator. The swords they used included low-level Earth Heirlooms, a type of heirloom that was classified as high for Basic Realm cultivators to possess.

Mingzhu's movements placed more emphasis on flexibility and agility, while Wentian relied on speed and agility. The two of them alternately gave each other attacks and dodged while defending.

Seeing the second match practice, some spectators commented.

"What genius!"

"I've always been amazed by Sister Mingzhu's swordsmanship moves, she's as if dancing while carrying a sword."

"They are clearly the current generation sword geniuses. What a sky-fated couple."

"Hush, watch what you say. If the Great Elder hears it, you could be in big trouble."

"A-ah, yeah, I forgot..."

Meanwhile, at the training ground that only Wentian and Mingzhu filled, the two teenagers focused on their match practice.

Trang!

Wentian and Mingzhu swords clashed against each other violently, then both of them took a step back while looking at each other.

Wentian chuckled softly, "If Aunt Master Hong is here and teaches you swordsmanship, I will definitely have a hard time dealing with your sword techniques."

Mingzhu smiled faintly, "Your Sky-Turning Dragon Sword Science is no less formidable than the Fire Flower Sword Dance I learned..."

Mingzhu is the old name of Meirong, which was eventually reused for the beautiful girl named Huang Mingzhu the Fairy of Light.
