The shame Wang Bei felt was more dominant than the pain that hit his body from hitting the ground violently. He was stunned for a while before growling softly as the pain began to take hold.

"Miss, you..." Wang Bei had trouble getting the words out.

Yun Lian who was in front of him looked at him coldly, her aura slowly changing. Of course the astonishing action of Yun Lian slamming the body of a youth larger than her onto the ground immediately attracted the attention of many people.

Holding back the growl, Yun Lian swung her leg and managed to break free.

"Don't look for trouble with me." Yun Lian warned and walked again.

His steps returned to tehenti on the count of three when he heard Wang Bei's shout.

"Stop there, you arrogant girl!"

Yun Lian half turned around and looked at Wang Bei who was trying to stand up despite being a bit hobbled.

Wang Bei looked at Yun Lian sharply who was met with a cold gaze. There was no longer any hospitality left from Wang Bei to Yun Lian.

"I'm trying to be friendly and this is your reply to me?!" Wang Bei roared furiously, his face and eyes reddened.

"You should have realized I didn't accept your hospitality. Your behavior bothers me, but you're just getting worse. You don't know yourself."

Wang Bei's anger grew even bigger because of Yun Lian's cold response.

"Good, very good. This is the first time anyone has ever done that to me..." Wang Bei laughed mockingly. "Don't you know who I am, huh?!"

"Who do you think I care who you are? Not at all."

"I'm Wang Bei of the Clever Fang Sect! You won't survive because you've offended me!"

Wang Bei's shout shocked the people who were watching them. Not because of his loud voice, but because of the name of the sect he shouted.

Immediately many people hid and stayed away from being unwilling to get dragged into trouble with one of the ten-star sects. There were even those who stayed away without turning their heads at all and left the Jade Treasure City.

"The Broad Fingering Sect?" Yun Lian raised both eyebrows.

Wang Bei misinterpreted Yun Lian's reaction, then laughed mockingly. "Why? You just realized you've been making trouble with the wrong people?"

"I've heard of your sect. Aren't you a bunch of human beast lovers? Just deserve your wild behavior."

"You-you!" Wang Bei pointed at Yun Lian with a body trembling violently due to the mounting anger. "Not only do you insult me, you also dare to insult my sect!"

Wang Bei roared loudly then pointed at Yun Lian again. "I'll make you regret your words!"

Afterwards Wang Bei whistled loudly. Yun Lian just silently watched as if she did not care. After two breaths, there was a loud roar of approaching animals. Then two animals appeared twice the size of Wang Bei's body on his right and left side.

"Is this your pet? So ugly. Not at all cute."

Wang Bei hoped his gaze would be able to kill Yun Lian. "Xiao Bai, Xiao Hei, let's teach that rotten girl a lesson!"

The two animals that Wang Bei called out roared loudly and looked at Yun Lian with murderous lust due to the influence of his master. As a controlling cultivator of a savage beast, Wang Bei relied on the stealth abilities he controlled.

Occasionally he held back the ape's stealth punch, then gave a back punch. Meanwhile, Wang Bei was struck by Yun Lian who was still fine after being hit by one of his fire demon attacks.

While Yun Lian was busy fighting with the two demons Wang Bei, from a distance two young men approached in a hurry. They were Bao Wei and Fang Jun who put on panicked faces mixed with worry and anxiety.

"Stop!"

Bao Wei's shout could be heard by the two of them, especially Yun Lian, but the girl was more preoccupied with the two demons that could not stop attacking her before leaving her gravely injured.

"Brother Wang-! Stop your two demons! You deliberately made a mess in this city?!"

"Bao Brother, isn't he? I won't stop until the girl is taken down!" reply Wang Bei without giving face.

Bao Wei growled softly. "I suggest you stop or I'll have to intervene!"

"Huh! You can try it!"

"You forced me! Jun'er, help me!"

"Ready, Wei-gege!"

Bao Wei took out a wooden scroll, while Fang Jun took out a leather scroll containing a number of small blades.

When opened, Bao Wei's wooden scroll bore two characters of letters, east and west, and two human-like metal dolls appeared. Bao Wei took out two of his flagship heirlooms.
