MTI 234 - The Eternal Lightning Valley

In the Blue Moon Continent, there are ten places that are referred to as the most dangerous and forbidden places due to the high risk of death in that place. Not only is the risk of death high, it is also called forbidden for certain reasons.

In the known historical records, the ones that could survive and come out of the ten forbidden places were only one in ten people or sometimes one in a hundred people. But rarely do people manage to stay alive unharmed.

The most dangerous and forbidden places were Moon Star Island, Poison Mist Forest, and Death Desert.

Among those ten places, Star Moon Island ranks first. The risk of death is indeed the smallest, but it does not close the fact that the island is inhabited by so many demons. In the danger zone alone, there are hundreds or perhaps thousands of demons that have been transformed into King or Demon Queen.

Merely, since the past thousand years, Star Moon Island was even more terrifying for being the residence of the East Wind Feng Xian who lived on a mountain peak in the middle of the island. Feng Xian was considered more dangerous than some Demon Kings or Queens though.

Another dangerous place was the Eternal Lightning Valley. It is so named because the place is always covered with dense cloudy clouds and down lightning that is mutually unpretentious as if without stopping.

The sound of lightning coming down is always thundering and followed by other lightning. It was not uncommon for dozens or even dozens of thunderbolts to descend, making people who heard it from a distance become frightened because the sound was much louder and thunderous, even the ground shook.

It was believed that there was no life in the Eternal Lightning Valley, except magic plants. And some suspect the place there are some precious rare rocks and minerals.

"That place looks scarier than I imagined." Xiao Ni opened his voice then let out a long sigh, after both of them watched dozens of thunderbolts descend and caused a deafening loud sound.

"You scared? I suggest you return to the Moon Star Island." Feng Xian responded with mocking intent.

"Fearful? No." Xiao Ni. "Far come here and soon come back just wasting a lot of energy."

According to Xiao Ni, if he had to choose, then he would rather fight with some Demon King or Queen who was in the danger zone of Star Moon Island than have to enter the Eternal Lightning Valley. Were it not for the possibility of Xi Lei being in that place, Xiao Ni would not have followed Feng Xian.

It was not without reason that Bing Lizi had Feng Xian examine Xi Lei's whereabouts there. Bing Lizi though at the peak of her strength was unable to last long exploring the Eternal Lightning Valley, as well as Chen Long. According to him, only Feng Xian was a suitable person to go there.

Before deciding to enter the Eternal Lightning Valley, Feng Xian formed a hand spell and formed a large ball-shaped protective shield made of wind elemental magic. This ball wind shield would protect them from lightning and their hearing attacks.

A few meters after the two entered the Eternal Lightning Valley, dozens of descending lightning bolts struck towards them.

Blarrr! Blarrr! Blarrr!

The dozens of lightning bolts struck the shield of the wind ball that protected Feng Xian and Xiao Ni, making a loud noise, but were heard softly by Feng Xian and Xiao Ni.

"This place seemed to understand getting visitors, then sending dozens of lightning bolts as a welcome." Little top Xiao Ni saw the failure of those dozens of lightning bolts that were like wanting to attack the two of them.

Not long after, another dozen lightning bolts descended, this time his attack was stronger than before, but still unable to destroy the shield of the wind ball.

Then for the third time, another lightning bolt came down. They were tens with much greater strength.

"Basic lightning-light shits." Xiao Ni cussed and stared exasperatedly at the black sky. While Feng Xian was just staring flatly.

Without having a clue, Feng Xian confusedly began a search in which direction. He used his Heavenly Senses as a tracker then clucked in annoyance to find the range of his Heavenly Senses limited due to the extreme conditions of the Eternal Lightning Valley.

The thunderbolts that descended on almost the entire Eternal Lightning Valley made the reach of anyone's Heavenly Senses limited. Though that place did not have the Heavenly Sense barrier formation like the Jade Treasure City did.

Feng Xian then flew straight while looking around using his Heavenly Senses in limited scope.

No one knew for sure the vast Eternal Lightning Valley as no one had ever been willing to try to research it, so Feng Xian could only continue going deeper to get a clue.

The deeper it went, the atmosphere became increasingly gripping. The thunderbolts that descended were also more and more numerous and powerful. Yet again, Feng Xian's wind-ball shield was incapable of being penetrated.

They had already spent about two hours, but had yet to find any results. Feng Xian was about to cuss in frustration, at the same time he saw the land in the Eternal Lightning Valley tremble.

"Hm? What's going on?"

At first, the vibration was slowly getting louder. Before Feng Xian could find an answer to the oddity, a pillar of golden light appeared in the distance that soared through the sky from the west of his current position.

"Senior, isn't that..."

Feng Xian was as curious as Xiao Ni, not expecting any savage beast life in the Eternal Lightning Valley. At least from the roar it was known that the savage beast that had just entered the Soul Realm was a wolf.
