Mortal To Immortal (Book 1)
Ep. 106 - Critical Conditions

The Patriarch of the Poison Heart Valley, Xu Gang was assaulted by intense headache when he learned of the life of his first child, Xu Gang, Xu Gang could drift at any time if the child went back to studying or using high-level poison arts.

No one could or dared to eliminate the poison that had already fused with Xu Yang's heart. With just a few mistakes in the treatment process, the mildest effect was that Xu Yang would lose his ability in cultivation practice and suffer from paralysis. And the worst was the death of Xu Yang back then as well.

The hardships they were experiencing were more or less the same at the time when the Patriarch of the Northern Ice Fortress, Bing Houyi asked the help of the Poison Heart Valley to treat her youngest child, Bing Yunzi. The problem that Yunzi suffered back then was that his meridian pathway was covered by the ferocious pill poison and had also already fused with his marrow.

All Xu Gang, Xu Lao, and She Liu could do was to reduce the ferocity of the poison in Xu Yang's body and hope that their son and grandson one did not use a third grade poison and above.

It would be great if Xu Yang did not use poison science at all, as they searched for the best way to treat his bad condition.

"Oh, if there was Xiao Tian here." murmured Xu Lao softly, which She Liu and Xu Gang still heard.

She Liu was suddenly saddened, unthinkable of her student who disappeared, and had not returned or found her existence after nearly twenty years of searching.

Not without reason Xu Lao muttered so. Yutian's abilities had already far surpassed all of them and with just the Poison God Technique of his creation, Xu Yang's condition could gradually recover and be perfectly healthy.

Perhaps they had little hope if anyone had inherited this one science, but they knew Yutian had never passed down the Poison God Technique on anyone in the Valley of the Poison Heart.

Xu Gang closed his eyes. It was obvious that he was under heavy pressure and his face seemed to be aging by several tens of years. His busyness as Patriarch was enough to be a burden on his shoulders and getting heavier with the added problem of the condition of his eldest son.

'I don't want to lose anyone closest to me anymore...'

Previously, Xu Gang had already lost two people nearby. First, his senior Yutian was highly respected and became his role model. Second, Liu Yin, the beautiful woman as well as the wife he loved. Xu Gang could no longer experience the loss of a third, namely his eldest son, Xu Yang.

One day, there was news that became a breath of fresh air for Xu Gang, Xu Lao, and She Liu, the news of the East Wind's reappearance. Of course they did not doubt this news as it was spread by the Jade Treasure Tower through the Jade Treasure Shop that was spread throughout the entire Blue Moon Continent.

Feng Xian not only nicknamed the East Wind one of the Four Greats, but also the Alchemy God, the alchemist as well as the number one healer of the Blue Moon Continent cultivators for hundreds of years.

Feng Xian was another hope Xu Gang and the others had for treating Xu Yang's condition. They believed that Feng Xian with his pill was capable of doing so.

Xu Lao and She Liu agreed, they would go to Star Moon Island to meet Feng Xian and ask for his help. If not in a desperate condition, enough of them met him. However, since Feng Xian characters were quite difficult to talk to, at least with their presence together, it could at least make Feng Xian give face.

Not to mention Xu Lao and She Liu departing, Xu Yin came to give the shocking news that Xu Yang had escaped from the sect, evident from the small letter the young man had left in his room. Back they were attacked by a headache after getting good news.

"Yang'er did something crazy again... Xu Gang, how could you let go of your surveillance on him?" She Liu was suddenly furious at Xu Gang who was in a limp condition.

Feeling irritated, She Liu stomped her long stick that was the shape of the base like a snake head to the floor, making a great tremor of tens of meters. This was still relatively light, because if She Liu did not hold back, she could make the room they occupied collapse instantly with just a single blow.

Xu Gang looked at Xu Yin. The girl's eyes were reddened and teary, ready to shed her tears at any moment. Xu Gang had just wanted to answer, but Xu Lao's voice came first.

"Calm down, Yin'er. Grandfather will mobilize a lot of people to find and bring your brother home." Xu Lao gave a solution and a smile of hope.

"Grandfather..." Xu Yin rushed into the arms of Xu Lao, his great-grandfather, "I want to go find Yang gege..."

"Don't. You should stay on the sect. Focus on your training and rest assured your brother is fine while out there. We will go to the Moon Star Island to seek special help. Youunderstand?"

Xu Yin let out a long breath, "Alright, Cake, I understand."

"Good, that's just my beautiful, sweet little girl."

***

The appearance of a Soul realm cultivator outside of a sect could stir up turmoil and attract attention, especially one from a large sect. This left Xu Lao and She Liu in disguise after entering the territory of the Green Forest Country.

With the strength they had, Xu Lao and She Liu arrived at Star Moon Island quite quickly and there were no meaningful obstacles. There were no demons blocking as they immediately released a powerful aura since entering the Star Moon Island region.

At the top of the highest mountain of Star Moon Island, they found a man painting overlooking the vast forest. They immediately approached the man who was none other than Feng Xian and immediately saluted him respectfully.

"Senior Feng, junior Xu Lao gave his regards."

"Senior Feng, junior She Liu is greeting."

Xu Lao and She Liu were among the few who knew the surname Feng Xian. The man nicknamed East Wind also occupied the number one position of respected and respected people Xu Lao and She Liu.

If Feng Xian looked like a man in his thirties, Xu Lao was like a man in his fifties. His body was slightly fat and part of his hair and long beard were already whitened. While She Liu's appearance was like an early forties woman and was slightly thin, as well as her hair was all whitened. Feng Xian was two hundred years older than them, but his physical appearance was much younger.

Feng Xian's brush movements stopped, and since he was in a sideways sitting position against Xu Lao and She Liu's positions, he simply turned his head slightly on them. Feng Xian returned their greetings with a soft nod without a smile.

"Seeing two cultivators as old as the Valley of the Poison Heart together here must be some very important business." Feng Xian said without further ado.
