Mortal To Immortal (Book 1)
Ep. 124 - Small Village

Yao Han did not care about his actions destroying the stone fortress in a single strike of lightning magic would kill all the members of the Red Crow group. Even if they could survive, it might only be a day or two.

Not a single inhabitant of the Pagoda Dimension commented on Yao Han's previous actions, because sooner or later Yao Han would take lives, either directly or indirectly, as long as he became part of the world of cultivators.

Despite knowing Yao Han was their savior, the women who were the victims of the Red Crow group were terrified to see him after destroying the stone fortress, making Yao Han sigh long.

Yao Han said he planned to bring home the girls who came from the small village he had visited before. While the rest were, Yao Han would probably drive them home if they asked.

However, Yao Han's offer was met with a lethargic and sad face. Yao Han asked the cause.

"Apart from all of us are victims, but we have no sanctity anymore. Perhaps we will not be accepted by the citizens of our place of origin and excommunicated." replied one of the women.

Yao Han let out a long sigh again, 'Community view, yes...' His head was a little sore, as he was already bound by a promise to bring home the women, at least those from a small village.

Of the dozens of young women who were forcibly taken, there were only seven left. Yao Han offered to take them home, if in the end they were not accepted, Yao Han was willing to take them where they wanted to be.

Women other than the seven chose not to go back to where they came from and planned to split up to complain about fate elsewhere. Yao Han had no right to prevent and could only provide them with provisions.

Yao Han managed to take some of the Red Crow group's 'belonging' valuables, then distributed them to all of the women. The rest he would give to the small village.

Before these women left, Yao Han helped to get their bodies back in shape. In addition to clearing out the toxins in the body, Yao Han gave each of them two Longevity Pills, one grain of Vitality Pills, and five grains of Nutrition Pills.

Xu Yin was startled when she saw all the pills Yao Han shared emitting rays, 'Pill of perfect quality?! He...'

Although the Red Crow group was already 'terminated', Yao Han suggested that it should always be careful on the way to their respective destinations. While Yao Han will return to the small village.

"Bolang, I hope you don't mind bringing them up on your back."

"No, Mr. Yao."

Seven small village women screamed small in shock at Bolang's voice, but they were even more surprised when Bolang raised his body, with a body length of three meters and height of two meters.

"Don't be afraid, Bolang is a good Night Wolf. You go up on his back."

The first to react was Xu Yin. He returned the flying sword to Yao Han then immediately climbed onto Bolang's back to become the first passenger. Slightly in doubt, the seven women finally rose with bodies holding back the trembling.

Yao Han did not come up, he floated using a flying sword beside Bolang. There was no conversation on the way back to the small village.

Xu Yin hesitated a little to ask Yao Han to speak as the young man's face looked cold. Actually Yao Han was agitated because for the first time he 'killed'.

***

Small villagers were panicking to see a large animal enter their village. But seeing Yao Han beside the large animal that was none other than Bolang, they calmed down a little. The atmosphere of haru is created when the women are taken back to their families.

"The Red Crow Group will not bother you or anyone else anymore, their history is over. But I have to apologize for not being able to save all the women that were once taken away."

"Young Master doesn't have to apologize. We're thankful that someone can come back rather than nothing. We also do not think any further about their condition, however they are victims..."

Yao Han heaved a sigh of relief hearing these women were still accepted by the small villagers with their lack of conditions.

"It doesn't have to be that, it's no big deal for me to help you guys."

"Actually we intend to repay your kindness, but there's not much we can do with our condition."

The village chief intended to hand back the treasures that the Red Crow group had taken from them to Yao Han but was rejected.

"If Uncle and the others don't mind, I want to stay overnight in this village. That's more than enough for me."

"Oh, of course. Young Master can stay at my house."

"No need, Uncle. I can make a home for myself."

Yao Han made some hand seals and green plant tendrils appeared which formed a simple dome. Yao Han surprised everyone, especially Xu Yin.

"Well, Uncle, I'll stay there."

"Oh, i-iya, b-well, Young Master." The village chief stuttered and began to assume Yao Han was not a human or an ordinary cultivator. He then ordered his citizens not to bother Yao Han.

"Hey, how did you do it?" xu Yin asked after the village chief moved away from Yao Han.

"Hm, of course I can. Why why?"

Xu Yin clucked softly, "Can you teach me?"

Yao Han raised next to an eyebrow, Xu Yin as if trying to be familiar with her, "No." That answer made Xu Yin pout behind her iron mask, "Miss Xu, I suggest you return to the sect immediately. You're not with the man who's escorting you out and it's dangerous to travel alone. It's lucky enough that you can still survive until you arrive at the Green Forest Country."

"What do you mean by that? You expect me to die? It's not your right to interfere in my affairs."

Yao Han was anxious to cry in the face of Xu Yin's hard-to-speak attitude. Even Feng Xian who was said to be acting the same was easier to deal with.

"Take care of you, Miss Xu."

Yao Han flicked his hands, then sat down in front of his simple domes. Yao Han took out a small pouch containing honey grass and started eating his favorite snack.

Xu Yin had not thought of continuing her journey after meeting Yao Han. He felt it would not hurt to rest one night and come sit not far from Yao Han.

"Hey, are you really Senior disciple of East Wind?"

Yao Han simply glanced over without any intention of replying. His mouth was engrossed in chewing honey grass and his mood slowly improved.

"Hey, I'm asking you."

Yao Han's reaction was still the same as before and it made Xu Yin extremely irritated.
