MTI 035 - Stupid Action

After delivering Houyi and Yunzi before Feng Xian, Yao Han entered the house. Houyi briefly glanced at Yao Han for a moment and then greeted Feng Xian.

"Senior Feng's..." Houyi followed Yunzi, cupped his hands and slightly bowed.

"Who would have thought my first guest after so many years of closing down was the Ice King..." Feng Xian laughed softly.

Houyi had intended to introduce himself because he thought Feng Xian had forgotten about him, but the stern-faced man's words undoed his intentions. Houyi smiled faintly, Feng Xian's innate manner was slightly different from his memories.

Houyi held his breath for a moment, not expecting Feng Xian to have a Phoenix, a rare spirit beast in legend. While staring at the jade snake, Houyi thought for a moment.

Houyi was amazed that the two rare and high-level spirit beasts had practices in the Core Realm, so that both of them could transform into humans. Moreover, not many spirit beasts were capable of forming the Golden Core.

Feng Xian did not comment, although he knew Houyi's point of view and mind. Then, Yao Han reappeared carrying a drink.

"Senior, please drink. This is Silver Grass Tea. I hope it fits Senior's taste."

Yao Han served three cups of silver grass tea. Each one was for Feng Xian, Houyi, and Yunzi. Then he sat down beside Feng Xian's back. His attitude and actions made Houyi think that Yao Han was Feng Xian's servant.

"This Silver Grass Tea is his homemade concoction." Feng Xian referred to Yao Han, "Please drink."

"Ah, thank you, Senior."

Houyi was a little slow in digesting the situation at hand. Even so, he received the banquet of Feng Xian and the youngster whom he did not yet know his name.

The aroma of the tea was very seductive to the smell and after drinking it a little, Houyi exclaimed softly, "It tastes good. It is an honor to drink tea from Senior Feng's residence." Houyi smiled faintly.

Yunzi who also took tea put on a cheerful face. The sweet taste of the tea is very suitable on the tongue of children.

"It's just tea, your response is exaggerated..." Feng Xian shook his head slowly, "What are you doing here?"

Directly at its core was the nature of Feng Xian who was also widely known. Houyi was not surprised and felt like this should be the figure of Feng Xian whom he had known all along.

Houyi cleared his throat slowly, then expressed the intent of his arrival relating to Yunzi. He wanted to ask Feng Xian for help in curing Yunzi's condition.

"Who is this boy? Your granddaughter?"

Feng Xian's eyebrows rose next door. Seeing that reaction, Houyi added that he had two children and Yunzi was his youngest.

However, the man's gaze frightened Yunzi. Houyi rubbed his head gently while whispering giving an understanding that made Yunzi become calmer.

Yao Han realized that Yunzi was indeed not in good health. His eyes were slightly faint and his lips were slightly pale. Silently, Yao Han observed Yunzi using his special eye strength and found Yunzi's internal organs were enveloped by ice.

His vision was still not as good as the Heavenly Senses in general, so Yao Han still did not know Yunzi's true condition. If he wanted to know, then he would have to check manually.

"Did he know his true condition?" Feng Xian let out a long sigh, then said so.

"More or less so, Senior."

"I've prepared some gifts as payment, if Senior still feels less later, I will give more."

Feng Xian laughed then swung his hand, "No need. Just tell me what caused your son's condition to end up like this."

Houyi felt confused and doubtful, but he finally told a story. It all began when Ziyan, Houyi's wife, was known to be pregnant with a second child.

Hearing this, Ziyan was shaken violently. She blames herself even more, confines herself while screaming hysterically and condemns herself as a stupid mother.

His actions put the child's life in danger. Indirectly he was the one who made Yunzi's life suffer.
