"There were previously two additional residents..." Feng Xian glanced at Hong Meirong and She Yutian, "there's an additional one. You can stay here."

Yao Han smiled widely and bowed respectfully, "Thank you very much, Uncle. One day I'll repay your kindness."

Before explaining the cultivation level, Hong Meirong explained about spirit roots.

All humans are born with meridian and dantian energy pathways, but not all are born with spirit roots. Without this, humans would not be able to absorb Qi, pass it through meridian pathways, and store it into dantian.

Generally, spirit roots contain basic natural elements, namely fire, water, wood, earth, and metal. The number of elements contained within the spirit root between cultivators was not the same, which then determined the type and quality of the spirit root itself.

Spirit roots containing four to five elements are called pseudo spirit roots. The three elemental spirit root is called the semi true spirit root. The two elemental spirit root is called the true spirit root. Lastly, one element spirit root is called pure spirit root.

The fewer elements in the spirit root, the better, so the five elemental pseudo spirit root was the worst, whereas pure spirit root was the best.

Beyond the five basic elements, there are also mutational elements, namely the combined elements of two or more basic elements. It is known that there are four elements of mutation that occur very rarely, namely wind, lightning, ice, and poison.

"The speed of practicing a cultivator with a pure spirit root was about five times that of a true spirit root or about fifty pseudo spirit roots. You have five pure spirit roots.in theory, your speed is practicing five times that of one pure spirit root."

Every ten to fifty births, there will be a baby born with a spirit root. And nearly half of new cultivators each year had five elemental spirit roots.

The appearance of cultivators with pure spirit roots was extremely rare, one out of a million cultivators and they were referred to as true geniuses of cultivation. While the two pure spirit roots were much rarer.

The cultivation level starts from the Basic Realm, then the Foundation Realm, then the Core Realm, and lastly the Soul Realm.

The Basic Realm was the level of practice of gathering as much Qi as possible in preparation for cultivators to build their foundation. In the historical record of the Blue Moon Continent there are known to be fifteen levels of the Basic Realm.

"Not everyone can reach the pinnacle of Basic Realm practice. It all comes back to a few factors, namely age, talent, effort, resources, and luck."

According to Meirong, these factors did not hold much effect on Yao Han who had special conditions. He was very confident Yao Han could reach the pinnacle of the Basic Realm quite quickly, regardless he had only started cultivating at the age of ten.

Next to the Foundation realm, is the cultivation level forming the foundation. The Qi collected while still in the Basic Realm was converted into Foundation Crystals in dantian.

There are three levels of foundation, namely Mortal, Earth, and Sky. Each foundation is divided into four small levels, namely the beginning, middle, end, and peak.

Achievements achieved while still in the Basic Area, affect the extent of the foundation formed.

It should at least reach the ninth level Basic Realm to form the Mortal Foundation. Level twelve to form the Earth Foundation, and level fifteen to form the Sky Foundation.

The type of foundation that was successfully formed affected the cultivator's chances of rising to the next level of practice, namely the Core Realm.

Anyone who only managed to form the Mortal Foundation as the weakest foundation, their practice journey was highest to the peak stage Mortal Foundation practice and stopped there, he said, because their chances of entering the Core Realm were less than one percent.

When it had reached the final stage, for the Earth and Sky Foundation cultivator it would turn the Foundation Crystal into a Core, and if the process was complete, then it was declared successful in entering the Core Realm.

There are seven types of Core, namely yellow, red, blue, purple, bronze, silver, and gold. The Core realm is also divided into early, intermediate, late, and peak stages.

Lastly, the Soul Realm that focuses on forging the soul and the physical body is not the main thing, where the Core is transformed into the New Soul, so that a Soul Realm cultivator has two spirits and his spirit can leave the physical body if injured.

The Soul realm was also divided into early, intermediate, late, peak, and the highest was the Great Soul realm stage.

Yao Han closed his eyes trying to digest Meirong's many deliveries of cultivation levels.
