Ep. 111 - Moon Clouds

Away from Yao Han's position in Flower Hill City, in one of the Red Land regions, there was a valley between two volcanoes that were no longer active.

This valley was extremely vast, equivalent to ten great cities and became the main headquarters of a sect called the Moon Cloud Sect.

For the person who first heard the name of the Moon Cloud Sect, it would be thought that this sect belonged to a sect of white flow cultivators or at least a neutral stream. But the truth is not so.

The Moon Cloud Sect belonged to one of the sects of black flow cultivators, which also belonged to one of the ten-star great sects that aligned with the Poison Heart Valley and the Grey Sky Sect.

In the past, the Moon Cloud Sect was not a sect, but rather a gathering of cultivator clans. Since its inception, there were two great clans that became the main buttresses of the Moon Cloud Sect, namely the Yun clan and the Yue clan. For hundreds of years, the Yun clan head and the Yue clan had alternately occupied the positions of Patriarch and Great Elder.

For the past two hundred years, the Patriarch of the Moon Cloud Sect was held by the head of the previous generation Yun clan named Yun Ming. While the post of Grand Elder was filled by the head of the previous generation Yue clan named Yue Song.

Yun Ming and Yue Song did not just serve as Patriarchs and Grand Elders of the Moon Cloud Sect. It had reached a high level of practice and possessed great strength, making both of them part of the Black Flow Cultivator Gate.

Yun Ming the Gate of Death and Yue Song the Gate of Blood. Plus the Moon Cloud Sect which had a special army called the Cloud Sect, made this sect the strongest sect of black flow cultivators at the moment.

Previously, due to the existence of She Yutian the Poison Gate, the Moon Cloud Sect party did not dare to show off and occupy the position of the second sect, just below the Poison Heart Valley. However, the disappearance of the Poison Gate made the strongest position of the black stream switch hands to the Moon Cloud Sect and no one dared to refute this.

As one of the ten-star greatest sects, surely the Moon Cloud Sect had generations of geniuses of every generation. The most genius and talented Elementary Cultivators of their latest generation fell to the nephew of the current head of the Yun clan, Yun Zihao who was at once the grandson of the Gate of Death, Yun Ming.

She was a very beautiful girl named Yun Lian. Nicknamed as the Fairy of Blood Clouds, because the name of the clan is embedded in his name and also because he always wears blood-red clothes.

Physically, it was difficult to find a match for Yun Lian's beauty. His body was ideal and had a seductive form. Her hair is reddish black. The skin is pure white, smooth, and flawless smooth.

His eyes were one of the Heavenly Eyes named Blood Moon Eyes, causing his eyes to be dark red, matching the color of his hair. What is unique is that the rancid lips are red like fresh blood.

The beauty of Yun Lian was very famous throughout the entire Blood Cloud Sect, but it was heard a lot by word of mouth. Everyone could only see half of her beauty through her pair of eyes, because since childhood she wore a blood red veil that had an advantage of being impenetrable to even the Heavenly Senses.

Yun Lian's close relatives thought she had a Heavenly Body, having been aware of Yun Lian's meridians since the baby was clean of dirt. So that the practice journey is fairly smooth without meeting significant obstacles.

The Blood Cloud Sect had already waited for nearly two thousand years to return to having a fifteen level Elementary realm cultivator and a prospective Sky Foundation cultivator. Yun Lian answered those great expectations.

After three days out of seclusion, Yun Lian was asked to come to the main hall of the sect. He went there accompanied by his uncle, Yun Zihao and a middle-aged man named Yun Mohei, an old friend as well as Yun Ming's right hand.

Even though his face looked flat and seemed indifferent to anything, Yun Lian was actually nervous as she entered the main hall of the sect which turned out to be in it gathering all the sect higher-ups, elders, and special forces.

"My granddaughter Lian'er..." Yun Ming smiled widely and proudly, "Congratulations of having made it to the fifteenth level of the Basic Realm."

"Congratulations to Young Matriarch!" exclaimed a man beside Yun Ming loudly and vigorously.

"Congratulations to Young Matriarch!"

One exclamation from Yue Song was immediately followed by everyone in the main hall, shocking Yun Lian.

"Thank you." Yun Lian lowered her head while smiling thinly behind her blood red veil.

The call also signified that everyone there agreed that Yun Lian was appointed as the future Matriarch of the Moon Cloud Sect. This would be the first time for the Moon Cloud Sect to be led by a woman, so it would not be an exaggeration to call Yun Lian as the Young Matriarch.

"Lian'er, you have achieved great achievements that young cultivators rarely achieve. We expect a lot from you."

"Lian will try his best to meet the expectations of the Moon Cloud Sect."

"Aiyo, Young Matriarch, your grandfather is a little overboard. Don't think too much about your grandfather's words. Just do your best, but don't push yourself too much. We don't want you to be depressed." Yue Song spoke up after slowly elbowing Yun Ming.

In that meeting, Yun Lian was told to seek out the sect exit experience for the sake of preparation before entering the Foundation Realm and forming the Sky Foundation.

Yun Lian felt no objection, instead quite pleased. The departure of himself out of the sect could be counted as fingers. As Yun Lian recalled, the last time she exited the sect was when she was ten years old.

"You won't go alone. You will go with Brother Yun Mohei and Elder Xie Hong."

Yun Mohei used to be called Uncle Hei by Yun Lian, whereas Xie Hong was one of the special forces members of the Moon Cloud Sect. These two people had the practice of the Great Soul Realm.

After telling Yun Lian a few things, Yun Ming let Yun Lian go. Not long after, it was followed by all the remaining elders Yun Ming and Yue Song.

"Brother Yun, you really envy me." Yue Song clucked softly.

Yun Ming laughed loosely, realizing the thing that Yue Song envied him. Yun Ming had such a beautiful and extremely talented granddaughter. However, Yue Song could only give up because no cultivator from the Yue clan was able to keep up with Yun Lian.

"Am I not so blessed with the heavens?" Yun Ming showed an obnoxious proud face.
