Chapter 102

"Darling, you're here apparently." Zack's voice rang out from behind Alanna.

Alanna, surprised by Zack's presence, reflexively wipes away the tears that run down her cheeks.

Zack stepped closer, walked around the chair and sat right next to Alanna.

Alanna looked down not looking at Zack.

"Mas was looking for you because Sinta said that you had already returned to the room." Zack spoke again, looking back at Alanna who just looked down not responding to her words.

Zack frowned looking at Alanna's behavior that looked different than usual.

"Why dear ? is something wrong or is something sick ?" Zack asked.

My heart hurts !!

Alanna could only shake her head still without being able to express her heart. The tears that had stopped now flooded his eyes again.

"I'm fine, ma'am." Alanna's hoarse voice tried to hold back her tears.

Zack reached out to Alanna's face, forcing Alanna to stare at her.

"Why are you crying ? did someone get sick or did someone make you cry ? tell me to mas." Zack asked in a panicked tone holding both of Alanna's shoulders.

My heart hurts and you made me cry like this. Stop pretending to be nice in front of me, I'd love to say that to you.

Alanna could only make a deep voice looking at Zack.

"My head hurts." Alanna reasoned not being able to speak honestly in front of Zack.

"Then we go back to your room, I told you not to walk out." Zack said worriedly helping Alanna to stand up.

Zack hugged Alanna's waist with his right hand and pushed the infusion pole on the left.

Alanna was silent, Zack took her back to her room.

They entered and greeted the look of astonishment from Mama Rani, Papa Arian and Sinta.

"Why Alanna, Zack ?" ask Mama Rani.

Zack helps Alanna get on her bed.

"Alanna's head hurts Mama." Answer Zack.

"Then we call the Doctor." Mama Rani said and turned to Sinta. "Call me Doctor." Mama Rani's orders.

"No need to Ma." Alanna immediately replied. "Fear later the infusion will not be off this afternoon if I still complain of pain in the head." Alanna reasoned.

"The betul that Mama said dear, we should call the doctor to check on you." Zack insisted.

"It's okay mas, a little break must be instantly gone." Alanna.

"Alright, but we'll call the doctor if the pain doesn't go away." Zack had to comply.

Alanna agreed. "Yes." Yeah."

"Rest then." Zack said, Alanna closed her eyes trying to sleep.

"We'd better go home so Alanna can rest." Papa Arian said.

"Yes, that's exactly what Papa said." Mama Rani agreed, standing up from her seat.

"Zack keeps telling the house if there's anything with Alanna." Papa Arian's Message.

"Yes Pa, I'll call you."

"We go home first, Zack." Pamit Mama Rani only on Zack because she saw Alanna who had fallen asleep.

"Yes, Mama."

Alanna herself had unknowingly fallen asleep, exhausted after crying.

That afternoon according to the instructions of the Doctor, Alanna's infusion came off and just took the medicine to drink.

"So when can my wife go home Doctor ?" ask Zack.

"If there's no complaint tonight tomorrow morning your wife can go home." The doctor answered kindly.

"Thank God, thank you Doctor." Zack said relieved.

"Together Mr. Zack." Reply to the doctor before exiting Alanna's room.

Zack approached Alanna who was sitting on the bed.

"How do you feel ?" Zack asked.

"We can go home tomorrow, I'm glad you're finally cured." Zack reaches out with the intention of rubbing Alanna's cheek but stops once Alanna reflex avoids Zack's touch.

Alanna sees Zack surprised by his attitude. "I want to get some rest early because tomorrow we can go home." Alanna was talking for a reason.

"All right, get some rest." Zack was forced to say, feeling something was wrong but not knowing what. Alanna's attitude felt different since noon but she did not want to ask and force her to talk because Alanna was still not healthy.

That morning the doctor came back to confirm Alanna's condition before leaving the Hospital. Feeling no problem, the doctor allows Alanna to go home.

"We have to call to tell people at home." Zack said as he pressed his phone screen.

"Who would you like to call ?" ask Alanna.

"Mama, why baby ? is there anything you want ?"

"No mas, I'm just asking. Papa and Sinta where's the mas ?"

"The plan this morning Papa will meet with his friend if Sinta might go to college, I don't really know." Zack replied confused by Alanna's slightly odd question.

"Why dear, is there anything you need ?" Zack asked again.

"No mas, better call Mama."

"Alright" said Zack finally although still curious about the meaning of the word Alanna.

Zack calls and connects, Zack presses the loudspeaker button.

"Ma Hallo."

"Hallo Zack, why call Mama in the morning ?" ask Mama.

"Doctor just checked on Alanna and said Alanna can go home this morning." Zack.

"Thank God, you want Mama there ?"

"No, Mama, I just want to tell Mama."

"All right then you want to."

"Mom wait for you at home."

"Yes Ma, I'll hang up."

"Yes." Yeah." Mama and the phone call were cut off.

Zack puts his phone on Alanna's bed.

"You just change clothes, you go to the administration before we go home."

"Yes, um."

Zack walked towards the door and closed the door from the outside.

Alanna rushed down from the bed towards the wardrobe, picked up her neatly hanging clothes and stepped towards the bathroom to change clothes.

After changing clothes, Alanna immediately came out of her room before Zack returned from the administration.

Stepping fast and half running towards the exit of the Hospital building with the heart beating fast.

Getting outside, Alanna headed straight for the highway waiting for a passing taxi.

Looking at the approaching taxi car, Alanna immediately held him down. Provide the destination address once entered.

"Can you please hurry up a little sir." Alanna said agitatedly, afraid that the plan to leave that she had been thinking about since yesterday had failed.

"None right." Sahut Taxi driver who immediately increases the speed of the taxi car.

Alanna was sitting restlessly waiting for the car to get to the destination.

"Sir, can you wait for me ? I just went in for a while to pick up the wallet after that I still want to go somewhere else." Alanna explained as soon as the car stopped in front of the gate of the Ibrahim family home.

"None right." The driver agreed.
