Chapter 95

The operating room is open, Alanna is pushed by the nurse from inside the operating room after the doctor who performed the surgery on Alanna.

Zack automatically approaches Alanna's bed vault in the care of the rest of the family.

"How's my wife doing Doc ?" zack asked worriedly as he looked at Alanna.

"Your wife's condition is good sir, she has not been aware because there are still side effects of anesthesia and trauma of impact on the head. You take it easy, your wife is enough in the observation room care does not need to be taken to the ICU room." The doctor explained making them all breathe a sigh of relief especially Zack.

"Thank you Doc." The word Papa Arian represented Zack who was seriously staring at Alanna's face.

"Together sir, this has become our duty." The doctor smiled kindly. "Then excuse me, the family can follow the patient to the treatment room." Doctor added.

"Yes, thank you Doc." Zack says.

The doctor nodded with a smile before turning away in the opposite direction to the nurse who pushed Alanna's bed vault.

"You better go home, it's late." Zack told his parents once they had been inside Alanna's treatment room.

"We'll wait until Alanna regains consciousness and we'll go home." Reject Mama Rani.

"That's what Brother Zack said, you go home. The doctor said Alanna was fine too. I'll be here with Brother Zack and I'll call you soon if Alanna's self-conscious." Sinta added, agreeing with Zack's words.

Mom thought for a moment before saying. "Well, let us know if there's a problem or Alanna's conscious." Mama had to give up.

"Mama, we must've notified you." Zack reassured.

"Johan, please take Mama and Papa back home and you stop by the hotel and ask for a Cctv video file when Maya pulls Alanna to the emergency exit. I want you to take the tape to the police, I want you to report Maya for what happened to Alanna." Zack said firmly.

"Okay, sir, I'll be working on it soon." Johan said obediently.

"Call all our lawyers to take care of this matter. Maya has to get the right payback for putting Alanna in danger and making my baby insecure."

"Your actions are right, son, Papa is very supportive. We've been too patient with Maya and the family." Papa said encouragingly to Zack.

"Okay, sir, I'll do it." Johan repeated his words.

Mama and Papa walk out on Johan's tail from behind. Zack sat on the chair next to Alanna's safe bed.

"Is there anything you want Zack to want ? I'll go buy it."

"Buy me a cup of coffee, I'll go awake tonight to look after her." Zack said without taking his eyes off Alanna's face.

Sinta nodded in understanding. "Alright, there is a cafe located near the hospital. I'll be there not long."

Sinta exited the room leaving Zack who was just sitting speechless.

Zack silently looked at Alanna who was still asleep. Recollecting all the events when finding Alanna unconscious covered in blood made her feel her heart that hurt as it was squeezed to make it difficult to breathe.

After this incident, Zack was forced to admit the reality that he had been trying to ignore. The sudden appearance of the fear of loss made him have to realize the feelings of love that he had been trying to ignore.

"Darling, wake up. Don't sleep too long." Zack murmured gently into Alanna's hand.

"Where should I start telling you about our baby. I can already imagine your reaction when I hear this news." Zack added, saying with a sad face still gently grasping Alanna's hand.

No matter how long Zack just sat quietly while staring at Alanna's face, even the arrival of Sinta in the room was not realized.

"So, this is your coffee." Sinta said softly as she handed Zack the still warm coffee cup.

Zack picked it up and started sipping his coffee quietly without getting out of his chair.

Sinta herself moved towards the sofa that was inside the room. None of them made a sound and Sinta understood her brother's state of sadness and disarray.

Sinta just this time saw the state of Zack that looks chaotic even when the incident with Mariana Zack did not look like this.

His usual neatly arranged hair now looks messy, his suit and shirt are tangled with blood stains because he holds Alanna.

More than that all is the look on Zack's face that was very sad and hit by the state of his wife.

Sinta walks out of the room, intending to call Mama Rani.

The phone connection is connected to the first ring.

"Hallo Sinta, how is Alanna. He's conscious ?" ask Mama Rani when the phone connection is connected.

"Hallo Mama, not yet Ma. Alanna's not conscious yet." Answer Sinta.

"Well what's the matter you called Mama ?"

"Can Mama deliver a change of clothes for Zack ? his clothes are dirty with blood stains."

"Oh right ! Mama didn't think about it." Mama Rani said with a regretful voice.

"So soon Mama's gonna tell people to drop off Zack's clothes and toiletries."

"Alright, it's old then Ma, I'll let you know if there's any progress."

"Yes." Yeah." Mama Rani said and the phone connection was cut off.

Sinta went back into Alanna's treatment room.

"Sister Zack, I called Mama asking to bring a change of clothes for Brother Zack." Sinta tells Zack slowly.

"There's no need for Sinta." Zack.

"Sister Zack still has to change clothes, what will Alanna say when consciously see the appearance of a brother who looks chaotic like this."

Zack was silent at Sinta's words. "All right." Zack had to agree.

Zack turned to face Sinta. "You better sleep on that couch even if it's uncomfortable. It's late at night." Advice Zack.

"I'll sleep after Brother Zack's change of clothes."

"Why ?" Zack asked confusedly.

"If I go to sleep now who will take care of Alanna when Zack goes to change clothes ?"

"You're right." Zack said approvingly, not thinking of getting there.

Zack turned to face Alanna, and they both fell silent.

A few moments later there was a knock on the door from outside.

"Maybe it's the house guy who delivered Kak Zack's clothes." Sinta said as she stood walking towards the door.

The door opened, Mr. Risno stood with two large paper bags in his hands.

"I told the big lady to deliver a change of clothes for the young master." Said Mr. Risno handed the two paper bags to Sinta.

Sinta. "Yes, thank you Mr. Risno."

"Together Non, is there still something Miss Sinta needs ?" ask Mr. Risno.

"There's nothing, Mr. Risno can come back."

"Non, please excuse me." Pamit Pak Risno's.

Sinta closed the door again, brought the paper bag onto the table and put it there checking the contents of the two bags which turned out to be Zack's change of clothes and two sheets of blankets.

"Sister Zack here's your change of clothes." Sinta handed one bag to Zack.

Zack stands up, takes the bag out of Sinta's hand, and walks to the bathroom inside Alanna's treatment room.

Sinta took turns sitting on the chair beside Alanna's bed waiting for Zack to return from changing clothes.

Zack came out of the bathroom in clean clothes. Sinta stood up from the chair and changed back with Zack to sit down.

"You rest, it's almost dawn." Zack told me.

"Well, wake me up if there's anything." Sinta.

Zack just nodded back at Sinta's words.

Sinta then took out a sheet of blankets and arranged a position to sleep on the sofa.
