Chapter 67

Zack threw his body into the car. Leaning his body to the back of the car seat, feeling exhausted.

Johan glanced at Zack from the driver's front rearview mirror.

"You're driving them to the door ?" Zack asked Johan.

"Yes, sir, I'll make sure they're in before picking you up."

"Good." Answer Zack briefly. Narrowing his temple with one hand, feeling the headache coming.

"You're not well, sir ?" asked Johan glanced at Zack from the front rearview mirror.

"It's okay Johan, just a regular headache. How was Alanna when you brought her in."

"Miss Alanna cried all the way, sir."

Hearing Johan's words made Zack's head hurt even more. Zack let out a long sigh staring out the window. His heart felt faint to hear the words of Johan.

Johan glanced back at Zack, feeling like he was looking at the state of his Boss. "Actually Miss Alanna is innocent Sir, what she said and Sinta said was true." Johan said softly.

"I know Alanna is innocent, she wouldn't dare to do that if she wasn't cornered. The situation back then was unfavorable to Alanna, no one who saw the true circumstances other than you guys would definitely defend her." Zack explained. "What exactly happened to Johan ?" Zack looked seriously ahead at Johan sitting in the driver's seat.

"Nurhaliza told Miss Alanna that she likes you." Said Johan in response to a mocking grunt by Zack. "Then he said why would you like a woman who works as a hotel waitress."

"That means he's investigating Alanna's life." Zack's comments heard Johan's words.

"It seems so sir."

"Then what else did Nurhaliza say ?"

"She doused Miss Alanna's dress and said even if she wore nice, expensive clothes Miss Alanna was still a lowly woman who sold herself to get Mr." Johan hesitated a little to say the last sentence.

"Braud !! how dare he say such a thing to Alanna !" Zack emotion, cursing in high tones.

"That's why Miss Alanna slapped Nurhaliza."

"And I forced him to apologize to the guilty man." Zack frustratedly rubbed his face rough.

"But it's also true that you said, Miss Alanna there is no evidence that she is innocent while Nurhaliza cunningly took advantage of the situation as if she were the victim."

Zack is anxious to meet up with Alanna. "Johan speed things up a little bit."

"Good sir."

Johan sped up his vehicle to Penthouse.

When he arrived, Zack immediately rushed up and was surprised to find no one in the house.

"You're sure they came in when you left ?" zack asked Johan, a little panicked not to see the whereabouts of Alanna or Sinta.

"Yes sir, I'm sure of it."

"You call Sinta, I'll call Alanna." Zack's orders were directly executed by Johan.

Zack pulled the phone out of his pocket, dialed Alanna's number but it didn't connect because her phone number was off.

"How ? Connect with Sinta ?" Zack asked, anxious and panicked to become one because Alanna's mobile number could not be contacted.

"He's on his way here, sir."

"Where are they actually from ? I've forbidden Alanna from going out alone."

"You calm down first and you better sit down first, we wait for Sinta to know more clearly."

Zack complies with Johan's advice to sit down and try to calm down even though his heart is agitated at the thought of Alanna's whereabouts.

Ten minutes had passed and it felt like ten hours for Zack to wait. Not long after that, the sound of the front door opened.

Sinta appears but only alone. "Where's Alanna ? why you just go home alone." Zack asked.

"I'm from driving Alanna to the airport to go home." Answer Sinta timidly.

Zack's emotions rose hearing Sinta's words. "Who told you to take him there ?" Zack's growls trying to control his emotions.

Guts Sinta shrieked to see Zack so emotionally. "Alanna asked, I didn't want to but she begged to be accompanied because only this time she was flying between countries."

"I'm afraid to see him cry and not have the heart especially after Brother Zack humiliated himself like that in front of many people." Sinta cornered Zack.

Sinta's words made Zack even more frustrated "Where's she boarding the flight to ?"

"To Jakarta."

"Not to Surabaya ?"

"No, to Jakarta."

"You sure ?"

"Because I booked the ticket."

"What time does he take a flight ?"

"I came back here after the plane took off."

"Well, we wait at most two hours later. I haven't calmed down yet if I haven't heard from him getting home safely." Zack said, walking back and forth in front of the sofa.

"You want a coffee sir ?" Johan asked, looking at his chaotic-looking Boss made Johan concerned.

"Yes, please make a little lumpy." Zack said as he opened his suit and sat back down on the sofa.

Sinta sat on the sofa, facing Zack. Not long after Johan showed up with a cup of hot coffee and placed it in front of Zack.

Zack waited again, waiting for two hours to pass really testing Zack's patience. I do not know how many times Johan back and forth brought an empty cup to be replaced with a cup filled with hot coffee. Zack who walked back and forth in the middle room while staring at the wall clock that was in the middle room.

Sinta, who was upset with Zack, turns to look at Zack who is frustrated and agitated at the existence of his wife.

Two hours have passed, Zack immediately took his phone call Alanna's mobile number but still could not connect.

"The number can't be dialed." Zack said disappointed.

"Try brother Zack call mama." Suggestion Sinta.

Zack contacts Rani's mom, is connected and picked up during the second phone ring.

"Hallo Zack ?" Mom Rani's voice from across.

"Hallo mama." Reply Zack.

"Tumben called this clock, what's up Zack ?"

"Ma, Alanna's home already ?"

"Annana ?" ask mama Rani wonder. "Alanna's not here Zack, isn't she with you guys ?"

Hearing the words of Rani's mother made Zack's heart as if in a squeeze made him short of breath. Panic began to re-emerge on him. "He came home to Jakarta two hours ago ma." Zack's voice choked trying to speak.

"Why did you leave it alone ? Where's Sinta ?" mama Rani wonder.

"Love is here mama, she wants to go home alone."

"You guys got into a fight ?" guess mama Rani.

"To be precise, I made Alanna angry." Zack admitted with a compulsion.

"Zack, mama doesn't like it when you guys fight a lot. Moreover, your wife is now pregnant young." Mama Rani said in an angry tone. "You let him go home by himself, what if something happens to him ? And now he's out of nowhere because he's not home."

"Zack will look for her right now, mama take it easy."

"Let's tell Mama you found Alanna."

"Yes ma." Zack said and the phone connection was cut off.
