Chapter 74

People looked very busy as they entered the living room. The living room has been converted into a banquet hall with several round dining tables that have been placed in the middle of the room and several long tables in the corner of the room that Alanna thought would be used as table to provide various types of food.

The balcony on the side connects the living room with the park which is the main venue for tonight's event.

"Is there anything I need to help you with ?" Alanna asked Zack.

"No and no need, you just rest in the room." Zack says bring Alanna to lay down the middle space.

"I ride alone if I'm still busy here." Alanna

Zack looked at Sinta. "You didn't go up to your room ?" Zack asked.

"You, I want to tidy up my groceries."

"All right." Zack handed the paper bag to Alanna.

"Sir Zack, Alanna just went upstairs not going far. The longer Zack's behavior gets stranger !"

Alanna just smiled amusedly seeing Sinta talk sewot to her brother.

"Sister is only protective of the wife and older children in the womb." Zack defended himself.

"Yes, yes I know." Sinta relented lazily arguing with Zack, pulling Alanna's hand up the stairs to the second floor.

Zack meets Johan at the park who is overseeing the preparations for tonight's event.

"How are you preparing ?" Zack asked Johan.

"Everything has been going well until now, sir."

Zack looked around, saw several round tables that would be used for invited guests and a long dining table to put various types of food and drinks that would be provided.

In the corner there is a meat grill for beque. "Make sure nothing is missed." Zack's orders.

"Okay sir, I'll keep watching."

"Good."

"Zack !" Mama Rani called.

Zack turned his head, mama Rani called out from the balcony of the living room.

"Why ma ?" tanya Zack walked over to Mama Rani.

"Alanna where is ?"

"In the room, why ma ?"

"Last noon before going out your wife only drank fruit juice, mama asked him again he said there was no appetite even though only eating fruit. Let's ask your wife if she's afraid she's tired at tonight's show because there's nothing she's eating." Mama Rani said worriedly.

"Okay mom, I'll go upstairs first."

"How are the preparations for tonight's event ?" asked Mama Rani suddenly stopped Zack who was about to walk back.

"Everything has gone well to date."

"Good."

"Mama's a little worried because this is the first time we've made an event like this at home."

"No need to worry, it makes no difference to the events we usually make at the hotel just a different place." Zack convinced Rani's mom. "I'll go upstairs first."

"Yes." Yeah."

Zack opened the door of his room without knocking.

Alanna turned towards the open door. "Mas Zack." Alanna reflexively said as she looked at Zack who had entered the room.

Zack walked up to Alanna who was sitting folding her legs on the sofa while hugging a pillow, watching a television show.

Zack sits on the sofa next to Alanna. "Mama said you didn't eat anything this afternoon." Zack.

"Yes, this afternoon there was no appetite."

"Mas is worried about your situation like this." Zack said with a worried tone. "Nothing you want to eat right now ?"

"Nothing else ? that's it ?"

"Yes, that's all it was."

Zack pulls the phone out of his pocket and calls Johan.

"Hallo Mr." Johan's voice, Zack melospeaker on the phone.

"Call the hotel kitchen to make Alanna a fruit salad and a box of vanilla flavored ice cream." Zack's orders.

"Is that all, sir ?" ask Johan.

"Yes that's all for a while."

"Good sir." Johan answered obediently and the phone line was cut off.

"All the business looks like Johan's working up a little thing like this." Alanna commented after observing the interaction between the boss and her assistant.

"What you're dealing with isn't a small thing, baby." Zack.

"What if Johan doesn't exist ? looks like Zack's been used to Johan's existence."

"Oh, I never thought about it." Zack acknowledged.

"What if I too suddenly leave ?" Alanna asked curiously.

"Either, I never thought of getting to such a thing." Zack again admitted with a frown. "Surely you won't let that happen. Why are you suddenly saying that ? you plan to leave me ?"

Alanna looked back at Zack's face looking seriously at her.

"No, the question just crossed my mind."

"If that's what you want, you won't allow it or let it happen." Zack said again in a firm tone.

Alanna was speechless and did not comment further, not wanting to argue with Zack.

Alanna was getting ready, Zack was down early to greet the guests who had started arriving.

Alanna only wears natural makeup as usual, her long hair is allowed to unravel in contrast to the dress she wears. Standing in front of a shoe cabinet looking for flatshoes and remembering that they were left at their Penthouse in Malaysia.

"The way tonight must be long, my feet will definitely ache if I wear high heels." Muttered Alanna was forced to take one of the shoes neatly arranged in the closet and wear it.

Reflect for the last time, making sure his appearance has been perfect.

"You're so pretty tonight." Zack is speaking from behind.

Alanna saw from the reflection of the mirror Zack was walking over to her.

"Thank you for that." Alanna blushed shyly hearing the praise from Zack.

Zack stopped right behind Alanna, grabbing something from inside her suit pocket.

"Your appearance will be even more mesmerizing with this." Said Zack pinning a necklace around Alanna's neck. Simple necklace with small round diamond pendant.

Alanna reflexively held the necklace embedded in her neck, looking more clearly at the diamond pendant.

"This is not actually necessary." Alanna stared at the reflection of Zack's face in the mirror.

"Anything for my beautiful wife." Zack kissed Alanna's head. "Are you ready ? we're out now ?"

Alanna turned to face Zack. "Mas Zack."

"Why ? is there a problem ?"

"Honestly, I'm a little nervous."

Zack smiled softly at Alanna's words. "Don't be nervous, I'll just stay by your side." Zack calms Alanna who is answered with a nod of the head by Alanna. "Are you ready to go down ?"

Alanna took a deep breath to relieve her nervousness. "Yes, I'm ready."

They came out of the room, walking side by side. As he was going down the stairs, Zack gave his arm for Alanna to hold and smiled gently at Alanna. Slowly they went down the stairs and began to appear to be a crowd of people in the middle room.
