Chapter 35
"You've been quieter than ever since we had lunch." Zack tells Alanna they're on their way back to the hotel. "What's troubling your mind ?"
Alanna turned to Zack and the package containing the frame of their wedding photo that was between them.
"Mama made it a little complicated in my opinion." Alanna smiled wryly.
"I mean ?" Zack asked with a confused look.
"This wedding photo makes it look like our marriage is the same as the marriage of people in general hoping only death separates, but in reality my marriage is not as beautiful and instead full of uncertainty and without love." Alanna replied in a bitter tone making Zack just speechless to hear her. "Please get off me at the crossroad near the hotel, from there I'll walk." Alanna added a few moments later.
"I'll drop you off at the hotel door."
"But mas -."
"I'll just drop you off there after Mr. Risno will drop me off in the basement not to argue, the hotel staff won't see me in the car when you get off." Zack said firmly cut out Alanna's words, not wanting to be denied.
"Good on." Alanna said according to.
When she got to the hotel, Alanna dropped Zack off at the door and after the car moved towards the basement of the hotel where Johan was waiting.
"Have you got the guy's data ?" zack asked after getting out of the car.
"It's sir." Johan replied, they walked towards the entrance that was connected to the car park. "His name is Rudy Adam twenty-eight years old, he works at the HC staff section more precisely the HC Staff section chief, his data is already on your desk." Johan added that they had been in a special elevator to the floor of Zack's study.
"Good." Zack said briefly praising Johan's work. Zack goes straight to his desk, pulls out a picture frame from his pack and puts it on the table. Zack opened the black map on the table and read it. "You watch this guy, I don't like him being close to my wife." Zack said as he closed the map in front of him with a look of dislike.
"Good sir." Johan answered obediently. "But I don't think that man is wrong, Miss Alanna is a beautiful woman so it's no wonder that there are men who are interested in it and others don't know that she's married." Johan added, who was immediately given a warning look by Zack. "Sorry sir." Johan was sorry.
"You're out."
"Good sir." Johan then walked out of the room.
Alanna starts tidying up her desk getting ready to get home from work, the sound of a phone ringing in makes Alanna stop her activities that turned out to be incoming calls from Zack.
"Hallo mas." Alanna said when the phone line was connected.
"Hallo Alanna, where are you ?" ask Zack from across.
"Still in my room, while getting ready to go home."
"I wait in the basement, we both go home."
"Mas not busy ?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"Nobody saw that I was riding in his car ?" alanna asked hesitantly.
"No one will see." Zack reassured.
"Okay, I'm going there." Alanna then hung up the phone, walked out shutting the door of her room. When he reached the exit, Zack's car was parked not far away, Alanna walked over.
Seeing Alanna approaching, Risno got out of the car and opened the back door for Alanna to enter.
"Thank you Mr. Risno." Alanna smiled before entering. "Wait a long time, huh ?" alanna asked as she sat in the car.
"No, I just came."
On the way back home no conversation took place between them, Shut up with their respective thoughts.
Arriving at home they immediately went up to the room, met with Mama Rani who just came out of her room.
"Yes ma." Answer Zack.
"Tumben went home together."
"Mas Zack's not busy so he can go home together." Alanna says.
"O." Mama Rani understood. "Your wedding pictures are hanging in your room." Add mama before going to go downstairs.
When opening the bedroom door their gaze was immediately fixed on the wedding photo hanging neatly on the top wall of the bed.
"Mama hung our wedding photos in the right place." Zack commented as he walked over to observe the photo more closely. "You're so pretty in that picture." Praise Zack to Alanna.
"Mas has already said that." Alanna said in a casual tone, covering her pleasure at hearing the praise from Zack.
"really ? When did you say that." Ask Zack wonder.
"When our wedding is over, Ijab qobul."
Zack thought about Alanna's words and recalled the incident. "Mas said that because you were beautiful back then."
"It doesn't need to be discussed anymore, mending mas go take a bath there." Alanna said as she pushed Zack's body from behind, pushing her up to the front door of the space walking closet.
"Don't shower together ?" zack asked suddenly, turning to face Alanna in a jaily tone teasing Alanna.
"What the hell is mas !" Alanna said shyly, reflexively wanting to hit Zack's chest but was held back because Zack caught his wrist.
"My shy wife made her look even more beautiful in front of me." Zack smiled, kissing the back of Alanna's hand. "Bath first, please get my clothes ready." Zack added that she did not tease Alanna again choosing to go into the bathroom.
Relax Alanna, Zack praises you there's no meaning to anything she says like that just because you're her wife, not because she has feelings of love for you, Alanna said in her heart looking at Zack's missing back behind the bathroom door.
Sunday has arrived, after breakfast they are getting ready to leave to shop according to their agreement yesterday.
"Where is today going ?" alanna asked Zack in the room when she was about to go down to join her mother Rani and Sinta who were waiting for her.
"Mas only at home, there are some jobs that can work from home."
"then Alanna goes first mas." Pamit Alanna's.
"Yes, have fun with mom and Sinta."
"Yes, um." Alanna said before leaving to disappear behind the door.
"Let's go now." Sinta said excitedly as Alanna had already joined them in the living room.
"Yes." Yeah." Alanna said along with Mama Rani who stood walking towards the front door on the follow-up with Alanna and Sinta.
