Chapter 98

Arriving at Zack Hospital with a lawyer directly contact the doctor who handles Alanna, consult the issue of proof of Visa they need.

The doctor who handles Alanna is willing to help provide the results of Alanna's medical record examination.

The lawyers left with the files to the police station. Zack decides to go back to Alanna's room.

"How's Zack's business, it's done ?" alanna asked him to sit down to see Zack come in.

"While our lawyer's up to us." Answer Zack sitting on the chair beside Alanna's bed.

"Where's Mama ?" zack asked, not seeing Mama Rani in the room.

"There's a little out, he went to buy coffee at the Cafe in front of the Hospital."

"How are you doing, dear ?" zack asked gently stroked Alanna's cheeks which were still blushing bruised from the impact.

"It still hurts in some places, it's still dizzy if it moves suddenly."

"Then don't sit down, you better lie down first."

Alanna said, lying back on her bed.

"Have you had breakfast, baby ?" ask Zack back.

"Well, my mom helped me eat. He fed me breakfast earlier."

"Good." Zack smile. "Still saddened by the news of your miscarriage ?" Zack added.

"Still, no matter what our baby is. I'm very happy and expect him to be born safely." Alanna said sadly.

"Please dear, this is already the fate we can only be patient and accept." Zack excitedly clasped Alanna's hand tightly.

Alanna could only smile wryly. "I'll try it."

"Good, that's my new woman." Praise Zack.

"Mom know this incident ?"

"Mas hasn't had time to tell Mom." Zack said with a sorry look.

"We better not tell Mom first, I know she'll be shocked and stressed which could result in her health being compromised." Alanna said worriedly.

Zack thought and nodded in agreement. "Foul your words dear, we better not tell Mom. We told him when we visited Surabaya."

The ringing of the cell phone rang out from inside Zack's pocket.

Zack sees an incoming call from Johan on his phone screen.

"Hallo Johan." Answer Zack when the phone is connected.

"Hallo Mr." Reply Johan from across.

"What's the development of Johan ?"

"As we suspected, Maya escaped. We saw him coming out of his house carrying a suitcase and getting into a car with his father."

Zack frowned at the news from Johan. "You didn't follow where he went ?"

"I ordered people to follow them, they're still following the car that took Maya and her father."

"Have you heard from the man who followed them ? Which way are they moving now ?" Zack was a little panicked fearing losing track of them.

"They're moving out of town towards Surabaya, Mr. Zack."

"Good Johan, keep an eye on their whereabouts. Our lawyers are now completing the lawsuit. I'll call you if I get Maya's arrest warrant out of the police."

"Okay sir, we'll keep watching."

"Be careful not to let your existence know them."

"Okay sir, I'll continue to be careful." Johan said before disconnecting the phone. Zack reentered his phone.

"What's up ? is there a problem ?" ask Alanna worried.

"As expected, Maya escapes out of town."

Alanna covered her mouth with both hands, shocked to hear Zack's words.

"So how's mas ?" Alanna said in panic.

"Relaxly, Johan and the few people he commanded were watching and following their cars secretly." Zack explained, calming Alanna down.

Alanna breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank God, then."

"You rest, it's okay to stay alone ? Mas has to go to the police station to make sure with his own eyes when the police catch Maya who is on the run."

"I'm fine, Mama will definitely not be back long. Mas Zack just went to take care of this." Alanna smiled convincing Zack.

Zack nodded in understanding, drew closer to Alanna and kissed Alanna softly and gently on her forehead.

"Mas go first, baby." Pamit Zack's.

In front of the door Zack passed by Mama Rani who walked in.

"Want to go again, son ?" ask Mama Rani.

"Yes Ma I have to go to the police station right now, Alanna Mama said."

"Yes, be careful on the way, son." Mom's Message.

Zack steps away and disappears at the turn of the Hospital hallway leading to the exit.

Zack was greeted by his lawyers as soon as he entered the police station building.

"How is the case going ?" ask Zack.

"The police who are handling our case are waiting for the arrest warrant to come out for Maya." Daniel's lawyer explained.

"Good, your work is very good." Praise Zack.

"You want to join the police in Maya's arrest ?"

"If allowed, I'd very much like to come. I want to see Maya's look on her face when the police catch her." Zack said coldly.

"I've talked to them, we can go with the note lest we disturb or hinder their work." Says Lawyer Daniel.

"Sure, we won't interfere with their work." Zack said with passion.

"You better wait here, me and my fellow lawyers will look inside." Daniel's lawyer told Zack in the waiting room.

"I want to go in, I have something to tell the police who's handling our case." Zack said he refused.

"All right, I'll take you inside."

Zack entered his lawyer, passed through several rooms and entered a room with several tables filled with piles of paper and leptops on each table.

Daniel's lawyer approached the table next to the window.

Zack and Lawyer Daniel sat in a chair in front of the table.

The policeman behind the desk raised his gaze from his leptop screen.

"This is Zack Ibrahim, our client who filed the lawsuit." Daniel's lawyer told him before the police asked.

The police responded. "Your wife who suffered an act of violence ?" The police asked.

"Master Sir." Answer Zack.

"Our client wants to say something." Daniel's lawyer told me.

"Please, what you want to say." Said Mr. Police.

"I'd like to participate in Maya's arrest, I won't interfere or hinder your work." Zack's Promise.

"You can come with us."

"Thank you sir."

"Is there anything else you want to talk about ? because we've been moving toward the suspect's house." Ask the Police.

"There's one more problem sir, you won't find Maya in her house." Zack.

Mr. Police's forehead shriveled at Zack's words. "Why ? the suspect fled ?"

"Yes sir." Answer Zack.

"Where do you know that ?"

"My personal assistant since morning watches over their house just in case they intend to escape and it turns out that my guess is correct, Maya is on her way to escape out of town."

"Then we move now." Mr. Police stood on Zack's tail and his lawyers.

"Your people are still keeping an eye on them ?"

"So sir, they're still watching."

"Good, I'll take Maya's arrest warrant and call some of my colleagues to start moving. We meet at the parking lot and move together."
