The Man Full of Wounds

The Man Full of Wounds
Chapter 106

Alanna walked out of the hotel after her sif afternoon work hours were over, the day had darkened showing nine o'clock at night.

I still have to walk to the bus stop, hopefully there's a night bus.

Alanna walked a little hurriedly towards the bus stop which was approximately two hundred meters away.

"Alanna !" Call a man's voice from behind.

Alanna stopped her footsteps, turning around to look at the voice of the man who called out to her.

A man who's no stranger to Alanna's memories but isn't sure where he's seen her. The man walked over to Alanna with a friendly smile on his face.

"You know me ?" alanna asked as soon as the stranger stood right in front of her.

"He he he you don't remember me ?" hearing the words of Alanna the man chuckled amusedly while shaking his head.

"Sorry but I don't remember where we met ? and why do you know my name ?" Alanna put on a confused face.

"We're one place of work, I also work in the same hotel as you." The man replied, smiling kindly.

"O... I'm sorry, I didn't know. I haven't worked so long I don't know a lot of people." Alanna said with a sorry smile.

"It's okay I understand, I noticed you in the hotel are also very quiet and rarely gather so do not make a surprise."

Alanna stood uneasily looking at the small watch on her wrist. "Sorry no offense but I'm chasing the last bus to get home."

"Come, I'll go to the bus stop. It's almost late at night it's not safe for women to walk alone."

"All right, thank you." Alanna said awkwardly, again continuing her steps in the man's follow.

"Mohammad Fasli." Said the man.

"Yes ?" Alanna reflexes said, not understanding the man's intentions.

"My name is Mohammad Fasli called Fasli." The man introduced himself with a dirty smile. "I was waiting for you to ask me my name but it seems like you didn't think about it so I took the initiative to introduce myself to my name." Added.

"O... I'm sorry." Alanna smiled wryly.

"It's okay, you don't have to feel guilty like that. I seem to be being too aggressive."

Alanna silently did not respond, they did not speak again for the rest of the way to the bus stop.

Don't wait too long for the last bus to stop at the bus stop. The bus door opened, Alanna then got on.

"You don't want to ride ?" alanna asked as Fasli just stood at the bus stop without moving.

"I didn't go up, my house was the opposite direction. I'm just accompanying you." Fasli smiled. "See you tomorrow at the hotel." Before the bus door closes.

The bus moved, Alanna stepped into the empty seat. Alanna saw from the window Fasli's bus was still standing in place, staring at the away bus.

Arriving at her apartment, Alanna went straight to the room to change clothes and take a shower. Fatigue after work Alanna chose to go straight to bed without dinner first.

"To take care of our new hotel there ?" ask Papa.

"Yes and for everything else." Answer Zack.

"For how long will you stay there ?" Mama asked.

"I don't know for sure, Ma. Work here let Johan take care of it. You don't bother Johan for unimportant business." Zack looked at Sinta, warning.

Sinta snorted in annoyance. "Yes, brother, I know."

Zack smiled knot. "Good."

Mama Rani and Papa Arian just smiled at Sinta's behavior.

"What does it mean for anything else? what business are you doing there ?" Papa asked back.

Zack had a serious face. "Alanna is now in Malaysia, I'm going to fix my household. I'll take Alanna home."

Mama Rani smiled happily at him. "Good son, Mama is glad to hear it."

Papa Arian nodded in agreement. "That's the words Papa wanted to hear from you."

"I'll take Alanna home no matter what." Zack said with determination.

Late in the afternoon elsewhere, Alanna stepped into the hotel lobby towards the staff section. It's the second day for his work at sif noon.

Alanna smiled knot. "You also sif surname ?" Alanna asked.

"No, I just happened to not be home yet." Fasli replied smiling kindly.

"I forgot to ask, what part of the hotel are you working in ?"

"I work in the recruitment department, I'm selecting your job application file."

"so." Alanna understood. "I went inside first, it's time for me to work." Added.

"Well, we meet again next time."

Alanna again continued her steps towards the staff room to change hotel uniforms.

Alanna's work routine is the same as the days are usually nothing special. Alanna always works as well as possible so as not to get a reprimand from the boss or complaint from hotel guests who come to stay.

After it was dark, Alanna walked through the hotel lobby to the front door of the hotel.

At the door of the hotel stood a man, as if he were waiting for someone.

The man turned around as soon as he heard the sound of approaching footsteps.

"You want to go home ?" fasli asked Alanna, it turned out that the man was Fasli.

"Yes, why haven't you come home yet ? aren't you guys working in the administration back home at five in the afternoon ?" alanna asked back, astonished. Didn't answer Fasli's question.

"Yes, I'm working late today." Answer Fasli.

"so." Muttered Alanna understood.

"Want to go home now ?" Fasli asked back.

"Yes." Yeah."

"I walked up to the bus stop."

"No, you have to go home after driving me." Refuse Alanna.

"Where did you know I came home twisting, you know my home address ?"

"No, I don't know where your house is just that you didn't get on the bus."

Fasli nodded in understanding. "I'll keep you company until the bus stop." Fasli remained on his word.

"All right, it's up to you." Alanna relented, not wanting to argue any longer which would make her late for the last bus ride.

Fasli smiled, walking side by side following Alanna.

"You're not a real person here, are you ?" ask Fasli on the way to the bus stop.

Alanna nodded." Yes, I'm from Indonesia."

"So you're here living alone ?"

"That's how."

"Your family all live in Indonesia ?"

"Yes and the family I have lives only my mother." Alanna replied grimly, recalling the Ibrahim family that had once been part of her life.

"If your family is just your mother why didn't she follow you and accompany you here ?" Fasli was getting curious.

"My mother does not want to leave my father's house, I will not stay here long if the time comes for me to return to Indonesia."

"Hmmm.so it turns out." Fasli's murmured sounded a little disappointed in Alanna's ears.

"We've arrived at the bus stop, you'd better get home. Thank you for accompanying me." Alanna smiled politely as they had arrived at the bus stop.

Fasli smiled back. "Not a problem, I'm happy to accompany you on a walk. Well then I'll go home first." Pamit Fasli who was nodding his head by Alanna.
