Chapter 96

The knock on the door broke Zack's daydream. He stood up to open the door because Sinta who had just fallen asleep made him unable to make a loud sound that could build Sinta.

Zack pushed the doorknob, the door opened and saw Johan standing waiting to be pushed in.

"Come on Johan and shut the door." Zack's orders turned back into the room back to his original chair.

Johan came in and closed the door behind him. Walk towards the sofa and see Sinta who was asleep on the long sofa.

"What about the duty I command ?" Zack asked.

"I've spoken to Ibrahim's family lawyer and with the lawyer reported Maya to mind with evidence of the Cctv footage. Tomorrow the lawyer will contact you to inform you of the progress of this matter." Johan said in a soft voice, not wanting to wake Sinta up huh asleep next to her.

"Good, good job, Johan." Praise Zack for short.

"There's more I need to do, sir ?" ask Johan.

"No, you can go home now." Answer Zack.

"It's almost dawn, can I spend the night here ? early tomorrow morning I'm going to go back home to change clothes and come back here."

"It's up to you, if you can comfortably sleep on the couch."

"Of course." Johan said, standing tidying up Sinta's blanket before he slept on the other sofa.

Zack himself chose to remain seated in his place, unknowingly falling asleep in a sitting position leaning forward on Alanna's bed.

Alanna opened her heavy eyes slowly, looked around and realized she was not in her room. His gaze stopped on Sinta and Johan who fell asleep on the sofa and then looked to the side, Zack who slept with a sitting position leaning on his bed.

"Mas Zack." Call Alanna soft, her throat feels dry.

Zack opened his eyes hearing someone call him.

"Mas Zack." Call Alanna back.

Zack sat up straight, looking at Alanna who had come to her senses.

"Thank God you're sober baby, I'm so relieved." Zack smiled gently grasping Alanna's hand gently.

"This is where mas ?" ask Alanna slowly.

"We're in the hospital baby, I found you unconscious." Zack explained slowly.

"How long have I been asleep ?"

"One day."

Alanna recalled the incident before she was unconscious.

"Before you are unconscious, you meet with whom dear ?" Zack asked to confirm his suspicions.

"I was among a male servant to meet someone who turned out to be Maya, I spoke not long and then wanted to leave but she pulled me towards the emergency exit. We had a fight there not long and suddenly Maya pushed me down the stairs."

Zack nodded in understanding. "Mas Zack was expecting it."

"How did Zack find me ?"

"They're looking for you through the Cctv video footage."

"O...so." Muttered Alanna understood. "What time is it ?" Alanna added.

Zack checked the clock on his wrist. "It's dawn baby, at half-five in the morning you go back to sleep." Advice Zack.

"No more sleepy." Refuse Alanna.

"So is sick ? your head still hurts ?"

"Head still hurts a little when my stomach doesn't hurt." Answer Alanna.

Hearing Alanna say her stomach made Zack move uneasily.

Alanna frowned looking at Zack who was moving restlessly.

"There's a problem I haven't told you yet." Zack said with a serious face.

"What is it about ? there seems to be something serious." There was a bad feeling seeing Zack's serious face.

"You must be strong and patient after hearing this news dear." Zack said.

"What news ? you make me feel bad. What's the bad news ?" alanna asked with a worried face.

Zack nodded sadly. "Dear." Zack pauses for himself to be ready to tell a story and Alanna to listen.

Zack clasped Alanna's hand. "I found you unconscious covered in blood. Mas immediately took you to the hospital but because of the bleeding and the old mas just found you make our baby can not be saved dear." Zack told him quietly and slowly so that Alanna was not too shocked to hear from him.

Alanna was silent for a while, trying to understand what Zack meant.

Alanna swallowed with great difficulty. "I mean Mas Zack, I had a miscarriage and my baby didn't survive ?" alanna asked reassured her hearing with a hoarse voice as tears began to pour out from her eye patch.

Zack nodded with a sad face, there was pain in the chest looking at Alanna's pale face getting pale hearing her words.

Alanna's lips trembled violently trying to resist the sobs that turned out to be unable in her dam.

"Hu..hu...hu....... ." A faint cry came out from his lips.

Zack immediately grabbed Alanna's body trembling with tears.

"Please, this is a destiny we cannot change. Maybe our baby's not on a match with us." Zack calmed Alanna who was still crying in her arms.

"My baby is our baby." Alanna's hoarse voice on the sidelines of her cries.

Zack feels wet on the front of his shirt as Alanna's tears continue to flow lamenting the fate of their baby.

Zack patted Alanna on the back to calm her down. No more words came out of her mouth to make Alanna's feelings improve, she just tightened her embrace.

I don't know how long Zack hugged Alanna's body tightly until Alanna's sobs subsided.

Alanna slightly moved away releasing Zack's embrace.

Zack reached out a hand erasing the trail of tears on both of Alanna's pale cheeks.

"It's quieter ?" ask Zack gently.

Alanna nodded weakly. "Yes, it's better."

"Go back to lying down." Advice Zack.

Alanna went back to lying down following Zack's advice.

"Mas has reported this matter to the police, Maya will not be released after doing something like this to our family." Zack said with a hardened jaw.

"When did you report Maya to the police ?"

"Yesterday the night after you came out of the operating room. Mas had Johan contact our lawyer and they had reported Maya with evidence of the Cctv video footage. My father supports my actions." Zack explained.

"Mama and Papa already know about my miscarriage ?"

"They all caught up not long after we both arrived at the Hospital. They were still here when the doctor told you about your miscarriage. Mama and Papa insisted on staying here with us but I refused, I told them to go home and rest at home.

"And will let you know that you are conscious. Sinta accompanied me here out of worry and Johan stayed overnight because it was too late to go home." Zack said while looking at the two of them for a moment.

"Mas Zack is leaving this morning ?"

"Mas look at your situation first, if it improves you will go for a while to take care of the problems at the police station. Maybe they also need proof of the visa to corroborate our demands."

Alanna nodded in understanding. "I've improved, I'm leaving I'm fine."

"Mas will call Mama as soon as it's clear to accompany you here while you're away."

Alanna agreed. "Yes, um."
