Chapter 43

In the afternoon Ayu and Gita come to the Hospital to visit Mom and Alanna. They talked at length to let go of longing, Gita and Ayu had mentioned about Zack, they told me that only when it turned out that the person who acquired the hotel where they worked was Zack Ibrahim, who was the owner of the hotel, the person who rented the number two hotel room, not long after Alanna moved to Jakarta. Alanna also told me that she only found out when she was in Jakarta, they then discussed other issues and did not mention Zack again. Ayu and Gita go home in the evening and plan to come back.

Alanna accompanied her mother to dinner before heading out to the benches in the park to eat the food she ordered through an online application because she was lazy to get out.

"Why are you eating here and not going out to eat at a restaurant ?" Asked the voice of the familiar man in Alanna's hearing, turning to the side to convince her that her conjecture was correct. And sure enough that guy is Zack.

"Mas Zack ! why is it here ?" Alanna was surprised by Zack's presence. "Aren't they still in Singapore ? what about the job there ?"

"Yesterday when Johan told me that your mother was sick and you were here, as soon as possible I finished the important work and the rest Johan finished, from Singapore I flew straight here." Zack explained. "Fast food is not healthy to always be consumed ?" Zack scolds dislike and joins Alanna on a park bench.

"Once in a while, not often I eat this food, again lazy out to eat." Alanna finished her food and then drank her drink and threw her trash into the trash can not far from where she was sitting.

"How's your mother doing ?" zack asked Alanna when Alanna sat down.

"It's been pretty good."

"I want to meet your mother."

Zack's words surprised Alanna. "Then I want to introduce myself as what in front of Mom ?"

"hmmm...... ." Zack muttered while thinking.

"It's impossible as a husband." Alanna says.

"Just as your girlfriend then."

"May also." Alanna agreed. "Then we go in now before Mom goes to sleep." Alanna got up and stood on Zack's side and went inside to Mom's nursery.

Alanna knocked on the door first before entering on Zack's tail behind her. "Mom hasn't slept ?" alanna asked as she walked closer.

"Not sleepy." Mom answered and then her attention turned to Zack who was now standing next to Alanna. "Who does he want ?" ask Mom curious.

"Find me Zack Ibrahim, Alanna's lover." Zack introduces himself before Alanna introduces herself.

"Yes Mom, Zack's Alanna's boyfriend. He came from Jakarta to see a sick mother." Alanna added.

"Thank you for coming all the way from Jakarta to see me." Mom smiled kindly.

"I'm happy to meet you." Zack smiled back. "You should take a break, I just came to say hello and will come again tomorrow if you don't feel disturbed."

"No, I'm not disturbed. It's good to know Alanna has a boyfriend and is more mature than she is."

"Thank you for the compliment, then excuse me."

"Alanna's with Zack outside." Mother's Order.

"Good Mom." Alanna.

"We'd better move Mom to a Private Hospital, just so she's more comfortable and her health service is good." Zack said as they were already walking down the hallway of the Hospital towards the exit.

"Don't work, the service is good here too." Alanna rejected Zack's offer.

"What class are you staying in ?"

"Class one mas."

"Then move him in the VVIP."

"But mas -."

"Don't argue with Alanna, you don't want Mom to move to the Hospital then let her move rooms to make it more comfortable for her." Zack said firmly cutting out Alanna's words.

"At the hotel where you work then, in the pavilion part of room number two. The room I was in."

"Yes, Alanna remembers." Alanna's facial expression turned stiff as she remembered the events of that night.

Realizing Alanna's changed face makes Zack convinced Alanna to recall the incident, making him feel guilty.

Zack requests Alanna's full attention by holding onto her two shoulders and gazing seriously into Alanna's eyes. " Tomorrow mas will come and will tell the reason for the events of that night, and the past of the marriage mas." Zack says.

"Okay, I'll wait for tomorrow."

"Today I persevered not to contact you, wanting to give you time to calm your mind even though I knew you must have trouble taking care of your own mother." Zack pulls Alanna into his arms and is thrilled that Alanna is no longer refusing to be held in his arms. "Mas misses you so much." Said Zack before letting go of his embrace.

Alanna was happy to hear the last words of Zack but she was not too hopeful.

"It's late at night, you should go home rest, must be tired from Singapore directly here."

"Where are you sleeping tonight ?" Zack asked.

"Sleeping in the long chair that's in Mom's room."

Hearing Alanna's words made Zack's forehead wrinkle a sign of dislike. "It must be uncomfortable, as soon as possible confirm to change rooms so you no longer sleep on the chair." Zack ordered.

"Yes, you calm down. Better hurry home for a break."

"Then you go first, you also rest." Zack said then turned around.

In the morning, I was transferred to the VVIP room at Alanna's request last night before the doctor came to do the morning visit. Not long after the doctor left after examining Mom, came the person who was instructed by Zack to deliver breakfast to Alanna. Zack texted me that he was coming during the lunch hour and invited Alanna to lunch outside and asked if I had moved my room.

Tok tok tok tok

The sound of knocking on the door from the outside and Alanna guessed it must be Zack who came because now time almost shows twelve o'clock in the afternoon.

"Come in." Alanna said when she opened the door and it was true that Zack was coming.

"How are you doing ?" Zack asked Mom as she stood by the bed.

"It's better, Alanna said that you were the one who forced you to move rooms."

"Yes, I insist that you and Alanna feel more comfortable. You don't have to think about anything else but your recovery, for the hospital fee let me take care of it." Zack calms Mom.

"You're so good, son, when we first met." I commended Zack.

"Don't worry about me, just think of me as your own son and can I call you by Mother's call ?"

Alanna feels bad if Zack gets too close to her mother given the high likelihood they will split up. Opening their mouths wanted to speak, diverting the conversation between the two.

"Sure, you can call me like Alanna called me and don't mind Zack." Mom said gladly, Alanna's intention to cut their conversation was hindered with Mom who first answered Zack's question.

"Our mother went out for lunch, after which I went home for a while to drop off some dirty clothes and pick up some clean clothes." Alanna said she wanted to get Zack out of my room right away.

"Alright, be careful on the road."

"Yes, Mom." Alanna said as she took the bag off the floor, but Zack took it out of Alanna's hand and held it.

"I'll excuse you, Mom, I'll come back tomorrow to see you." Pamit Zack smiled warmly.

"Yes, be careful on the way you two go." Mother's message returned before the two of them turned away.
