Chapter 50

During a trip on a plane to Jakarta, Alanna felt nauseous again like she felt when eating meatballs with Zack a few days ago. Alanna tried to look mediocre so as not to worry Zack.

The plane landed smoothly as it entered the runway at Soekarno-Hatta airport. Johan had been waiting for their arrival in the airport lounge and immediately took over the suitcase held by Zack when they had joined Johan in the airport lounge.

"We go straight home, sir ?" johan asked when they were in the car.

"Yes, we're going straight home." Zack replies, Johan drives the car out of the car park to the highway.

Alanna herself was unable to resist the nausea that had been in her custody and wanted to immediately spit out the snacks that she forced into her stomach thinking her nausea would be slightly reduced but it was increasing.

"Mas Zack can we stop at the store or the supermarket looks ?" alanna asked Zack, continuing to swallow spit to hold back the feeling of vomiting that is more often felt.

"Why ?" zack asked in surprise, starting to notice Alanna's forehead was wet with sweat, while in the car was cold because of the car's live AC. "What's the matter ?" zack asked, starting to worry.

"Mas, I want to puke." Alanna finally honestly can not resist the nausea and want to vomit. "Donne !!." Alanna smothered her mouth.

Zack immediately opened the suit and gave it to Alanna. "Just use this if you want to vomit."

"Hoeeek ! Hoekk !." Alanna finally spewed out her entrails, wearing Zack's suit to hold her vomit.

Zack massages the back of Alanna's neck to make her feel better. "Johan ! faster take the car." Zack's panicked orders saw Alanna vomit.

"Good sir." Johan said obediently and started to accelerate at high speed.

Alanna's feeling is better after twice regurgitating her stomach even though her nausea has not disappeared completely. "Sorry, Zack's suit is dirty." Alanna said with a pale face and filled with sweat.

"Don't you mind that suit." Zack said still with a worried look while wiping the sweat on Alanna's face using her handkerchief. "How do you feel ?"

"Still nauseous mas."

"Since when do you feel nauseous ?"

"When you're on the plane." Alanna sat back down.

"Why didn't you say mas ?"

"I guess my nausea may be because I haven't eaten, it will go away after eating a little but it's not." Alanna closed her eyes trying to control her nausea.

"Still nauseous ?"

"Still in." Alanna replied, still closing her eyes.

"Johan goes deep ?" Zack turned to look at Johan in the front, in the driver's seat.

"Not far away, sir." Replied Johan remained staring forward full of concentration driving the car at high speed.

Five minutes later the car stopped in front of the entrance stairs. Zack got out first walking a bit running to the door next to the car to help Alanna get out of the car. Johan, without moving, pulled Alanna's suitcase out of the trunk of the car and Alanna's bag in the back seat, followed Zack and Alanna into the house.

"If there's nothing else, excuse me, sir." Johan said while at the front door after putting Alanna's suitcase and bag in the corner of the living room chair.

"Yes you can go home." Zack said he only turned his head because he was hugging Alanna from the side and saw her walking to get into the house.

Papa Arian, mama Rani and Sinta sat together on the sofa of the living room. Sinta first saw their arrival.

"Father, mom, brother Zack and Alanna are home." Sinta told her parents.

Papa Arian and Mama Rani turned to look at Zack and Alanna who were walking closer.

"Why Alanna Zack ?" asked Mama Rani astonished to see Alanna who was still a little pale walking leaning on Zack who hugged her tightly.

"Alanna nausea vomiting ma." Zack explained when he stood in front of Rani's mother who stood up.

"Why can it ?" asked Mama Rani began to worry, reflexively extending her hand to Alanna's forehead to check her body temperature. "Not a fever either." Add Mama Rani after checking Alanna's body temperature.

"Maybe airsickness." Guess papa Arian.

"But before-before-before when boarding the plane I was never like this pa." Alanna.

"Better just take Alanna to your room to rest, if still nausea and vomiting better mama call the doctor to come check on Alanna's condition."

"Mas, I want to, Hooek !." Alanna immediately smothered her mouth preventing herself from vomiting, not finishing her words, running into the kitchen and vomiting in the dishwasher. "Hooek ! hoek...!." Alanna pulled out all her stomach.

Zack who followed her into the kitchen could only massage gently behind Alanna's neck that was bent over vomiting.

Alanna stood up as she felt better, Zack took the water and gave it to Alanna. Alanna took it and rinsed. "Drink a little." Zack said as Alanna put her glass in the dishwasher.

"Fear of vomiting."

"Then we go to the room." Zack's advice was answered by a nod of the head by Alanna.

Mama Rani turns to Zack and Alanna who appear from the kitchen. Zack who hugged Alanna from the side helped her walk. "Mama's gonna call our family doctor, tell him to come check on Alanna." Mama Rani said as she pressed her phone screen.

"Then Alanna I take it up to the room first." Zack.

Zack immediately laid Alanna on the bed and covered her. "Is there anything you want to eat or drink ?" asked Zack who was sitting beside the bed staring at the limp Alanna.

"No, mas."

"But you have to eat, you're spewing out all your stomach contents. I went to the kitchen to tell Auntie to make you porridge."

"Mas hasn't had dinner either." Alanna just remembered.

"Don't think about me, I'll eat after you get checked out by the doctor." Zack stood up. " I'm going to the kitchen first."

"What message ?"

"Mas use my phone to send a message to Mom, just type a message when I'm here."

"Well, I'll send a message to Mom. You rest first." Zack walked out shutting the room door from the outside.

Zack goes downstairs joined by his parents and Sinta.

"Alanna's on a break ?" ask papa Arian.

"Yes pa." Answer Zack briefly sitting on the sofa next to Mama Rani.

"The doctor is on his way here." Mama Rani told me.

"Good." Zack said and turned to Sinta. "Love you to the kitchen first, ask Auntie to make Alanna porridge."

"Yes." Yeah." Sinta stood up walking towards the kitchen.

"I had to send a message to Alanna's mother, telling her that Alanna had arrived." Zack stood up walking into the front room to pick up Alanna's suitcase and bag that Johan had placed in the corner of the chair, bringing her into the living room.

Zack sits back, looks for Alanna's phone in the bag and finds it. Turn on Alanna's phone, enter a passcode consisting of Alanna's date of birth and the phone opens. Zack searches for a messaging app then types a message into Alanna's mother.

The sound of a car stopping in front of the house distracts all of them, not long after which the sound of knocking on the door from outside.

"Maybe it's our family doctor." Said mama Rani rising up standing walking forward to open the door, reappearing with a man of papa Arian's age walking beside her.

"How are you Mr Arian ?" the Doctor smiled kindly, reaching out to shake hands.

"Good news Doctor Risal." Papa Arian replied smilingly as he shook Doctor Risal's hand. "You alone, healthy ?" ask Papa Arian, ask him back.

"Healthy, thanks. It's been a long time since I came to this house." Said Doctor Risal.

"It's absolutely right Doc." Mama Rani spoke.

"So who's sick ?" ask Dr. Risal.

"My daughter Doc." Said mama Rani.

"Love ? what pain ?" asked Doctor Risal and was surprised when he saw Sinta coming out of the kitchen in good health.

Seeing Doctor Risal a little confused by the story of Mama Rani makes Zack talk. "That mama didn't mean Sinta Dok but my wife." Zack explained.

"Your wife ? you're married ?" asked Doctor Risal surprised to hear the news.

"Yes Doc." Answer Zack

"I didn't hear that news."

"Indeed my wedding didn't invite friends and business associates so many didn't know the news." Zack explained.

"So where's the patient ?" asked Doctor Risal not to discuss the matter further.

"On top of the Doc, in the room."

They all went upstairs to take Doctor Risal to Zack's room, Zack opened the room door to let Doctor Risal in.

"Alanna this is Doctor Risal, our family doctor." mama Rani introduced. Alanna just nodded in understanding.

"Alanna what are you feeling ?" ask Dr. Risal.

"Nausea and want to puke Doc." Answer Alanna.

The doctor approached and sat by her bedside, pulled out a blood pressure gauge and began to measure Alanna's blood pressure.

"His blood pressure is normal." Doctor Risal said after measuring Alanna's blood pressure.

"How much Doc ?" Zack asked curiously.

" 110/70 mmHg." Answer Doctor Risal. "Is there vomiting ?" Doctor Risal asked Alanna again, clarifying.

"There's Doc."

"How many times ?"

"Two times Doc but the nausea hasn't gone away until now."

Hearing Alanna's words, the doctor pulled out a stethoscope to examine Alanna's chest and abdomen, pressing a point in the middle between Alanna's chest and abdomen. "This part doesn't hurt ?" asked the doctor, wanted to find out if Alanna vomited because of the increase in stomach acid that can cause nausea and vomiting.

"No Doc." Answer Alanna sure.

The doctor was silent and thought before asking. "When was your last period ?" doctor Risal asked, not only was Alanna surprised to hear Doctor Risal's question but also Zack and the other family members who were in the room.
