Chapter 110

Alanna was busy in the kitchen, making dinner for herself. Tonight he indulged himself more or more precisely to trouble himself by making some menus for his dinner.

Maybe I was hoping Mas Zack would come tonight for dinner here. Alanna you can not deny or lie to yourself, in your heart there is actually still a man named Zack Ibrahim.

Alanna let out a long sigh while stirring the food she was cooking on the stove.

About an hour later, all the dishes were on the table. Alanna saw a wall clock showing seven past twenty-six minutes.

Alanna Manarik dining table chair. "He couldn't have come." Alanna muttered starting to take the rice and put it on her dinner plate.

The sound of the front door bell suddenly rang, Alanna reflexively stood up not so poured the side dish on her plate hoping that the guest who came was Zack.

Alanna opened the door and was disappointed that not Zack but the manager of the apartment building.

"Sorry to interrupt your time, madam." Said the man with a friendly smile.

"Yes Sir ? what's the matter ?" Alanna asked kindly hiding her disappointment.

"I came here knocking and ringing the bell but there was no reply." The man told.

"I was out but not for long, what is it, sir ?" Alanna asked curiously.

"I'm here to tell you that tonight from eight to nine o'clock we'll shut down the power supply because we're repairing the electrical installation."

"O.. that's." Alanna. "Alright I understand, thanks for the information sir." Alanna smiled kindly.

"Together Madam, sorry for your inequality during this repair."

"It's okay sir, I get it."

"I'll excuse you then."

"Yes sir."

Alanna closed the door as soon as the man turned away, went back in and continued his dinner. Food Alanna couldn't spend on her own because of the amount she made.

"I'd better keep the rest in the fridge, tomorrow it can be reheated in the microwave for me to eat at breakfast." Alanna muttered while standing up, bringing the meal into the refrigerator.

The light in the apartment suddenly dimmed, Alanna saw only the emergency lights were on.

"They've turned off the power." Alanna muttered turning to stare at the wall clock that showed eight o'clock at night.

There was nothing else to do, Alanna decided to go into her room. In the room Alanna went straight into the bathroom to brush her teeth and clean her face from the remnants of makeup.

Alanna came out of the bathroom and was surprised to see Zack who had been sitting casually on the sofa that was inside the room.

Zack had taken off his suit and he put it on the arm of the sofa, his tie was already hanging loosely on his neck, his normally neat hair now looked a little messy.

Alanna stood in front of the bathroom door, folding both her hands over her chest with a frown looking up at Zack.

"How long has Zack been sitting there ?" Alanna asked in an annoyed tone.

"Just now, maybe about five minutes ago." Zack replied smiling knots, slightly comforted to see the attitude of Alanna who had just seen this time.

Alanna walked over and stopped right in front of Zack who was still sitting in his place.

"I forgot to ask this question about Mas Zack." Alanna.

"Ask what ?

"How did Mas Zack get into my locked apartment ?"

Zack smiled knot. "Of course using the key dear there's no way I'm breaking it isn't it ?" Zack teases Alanna.

"I got it from the owner of this building." Answer Zack lightly.

Alanna's forehead is getting shriveled. "How can it be ?"

Zack moved to his feet staring straight at Alanna's face. "That's an easy thing for me to do."

"Of course, what can't a Zack Ibrahim do." Ketus Alanna's. "What made Zack's mas come here ?" alanna added, stepping back and turning away from Zack.

Alanna chose to sit by the bed, keeping her distance from Zack if she wanted to think with a clear mind.

"I want us to go home soon."

"Don't Zack give me time to think ?" Alanna Protest.

"Mas has given you time to think from this afternoon."

"But that's not enough, I need at least a few days."

"So you can go away back ? sorry honey I didn't dare take that risk."

Zack's words left Alanna speechless. "I won't do anything like that again." Alanna said a few moments later.

"I don't believe."

Alanna took a long breath. "If you read my letter, Zack will know why I left. I did it for both of us."

"Did I tell you to do that ?" ask Zack.

"Not really, I was just helping because I thought Mas Zack was going awry to tell me that."

"That's what you think, baby." Zack said firmly. "All this happened because you think it is like that, where did you get such a conclusion from ? just from the words between me and Mama that you accidentally heard ?"

"Yes from that and from the fact that mas Zack never and wanted to try to love me." Alanna was forced to say the thing that had been stored in her heart.

Zack took a long breath. "Must admit you're wrong for the last thing you said." Zack admitted with a sorry face.

"Mas Zack, I honestly couldn't afford to live in a household that wasn't based on love so I decided to leave."

"Why do you think our home is not based on love ?" Zack asked, stepping closer to Alanna.

Zack stood right in front of him, tightly holding both of his hands. "Darling, can't you see it ? should I just say you realized it ? can't you see from my actions and attitude towards you ?" Zack put on a sad face.

Alanna shook her head. "What do you mean Zack ? I don't understand."

"There's no way I'd survive with you if I didn't love you baby, I was wrong for not saying that directly to you but you were wrong for not asking and talking directly to me instead chose to leave."

Alanna is shocked to hear Zack's unexpected words, words she's long wanted to hear.

"Ta ta but what about the words between Mas Zack and Mama that I accidentally heard." Alanna had not been fully anxious to believe, too afraid to hope.

Zack rubbed his face violently. "I'm confused and don't know what to do when you have a miscarriage. The reason you married me was because of our child, I thought when you had a miscarriage your reason for surviving with me was no longer there."

Alanna smiled wryly. "Just tell me you love me Zack, just say it doesn't need another reason."

Zack pulls Alanna into his arms, tightly hugging Alanna's little body.

"Darling, I love you so much. I'll do anything to keep you by my side. I'm sorry for my stupidity two years so wasted." Sesal Zack with a hoarse voice.

Alanna's tears flowed from her eyes hearing Zack's words. Disappointment and long wait so far gone are left behind now only a feeling of relief.
