"Thank you, Harry, thanks to your help I got the dress I wanted. I like your choice. Tomorrow accompany me to see it firsthand, I want to try it."
Harry nodded in agreement, and the man picked up the food Alena had prepared an hour ago and Lexi had not touched it at all. He lost his appetite.
"Because the dress problem is over, now open your mouth and eat. We'll date after this."
"Dating?" Lexi glances mischievously, deliberately teasing Harry. Yes, they have never dated after the two legitimately became lovers.
"Where are we going on a date?" Lexi asked as she chewed her food. "I'm looking after my diet, I don't want to ruin the beauty of the dress I wore on our special day because of my fat body."
"I don't find any excess fat at all."
"That's because I tried to take care of her. That's enough." Pushing the spoon as Harry thrust out a third bribe.
"Gosh, if you eat just a little, I'm not sure you'll be able to survive entertaining guests for hours. You need power, Lexi. You must be healthy too."
"Hm, you're starting to show your fuss. All right, I'll also show you a good attitude of being a submissive wife."
Harry chuckled, Lexi is really very sweet. He could not wait to spend his days with the girl as a couple.
"I won't mind if you're a little disobedient," the green-sliced man teased with a mischievous wink.
"Oh yeah? Hm, I wouldn't hesitate to overwhelm you then," Lexi served the temptation that Harry was tempted by his powerful attitude that made men willing to do anything.
Pax who was on the second floor noticed the interaction of the two. As his wife had said before, they had to accept Lexi's decision. Harry's a good guy. He knew the young man just as he knew Steven who was standing on his doorstep as they watched with jealous gazes as well as anguished to the same object he had noticed. Pax took a deep breath. No one knows how much guilt they feel.
Intentions protect Lexi and Steven, just the opposite happens. The two men were hurt too deeply, had their own traumas, but tried to look fine.
Now what should he do? Really, he doesn't know either. Everything is out of his control. Lexi's made the final decision, and what about Steve?
Pax quickly climbed down the stairs to greet his guest who came with Steve, Roxi Ivarez.
"Dad!" Lexi greeted as soon as she realized her father's presence.
Pax smiled and continued to step closer to Roxi and Steven. It was only then that Lexi realized Steve was there. The eyes of the two interlocked, smiling Lexi who instantly contracted it to Steve. The man spontaneously pulled both corners of his lips.
"What happened to your face?" Although he could guess, Pax still asked Roxi to make sure.
"Welcome welcome. Yeah, this is how I'm welcomed. That's sweet, isn't it?" Roxi pointed at Steve who was still directing his gaze at Lexi.
"I heard you also got a bogeman," Roxi flashed a faint smile. Pax reflex rubbed his face which made Roxi even more chuckling.
Steve turned to the two men, raising a flat, expressionless gaze before stepping to leave the two.
"What are you guys doing?" Stupid question! Steve scolded himself for clearly seeing the magazine strewn on the table.
"Choosing a wedding dress?" he himself answers the question. Lexi and Harry compactly nodded.
"Sit down" Harry offered. Steve sat down immediately. Her eyes again glanced at the magazine filled with pictures of wedding dresses.
Lexi must have looked so beautiful, she muttered inwardly amid the anger that was attacking her.
"What are you doing here? Slurping debt? I didn't see you bring champagne."
Steve tilted his head, his anger gradually subsiding upon hearing Lexi's voice.
Lexi laughed at Steve's reply which sounded like a silly joke.
"Harry can borrow you money if you want."
Steve just smiled. If he could borrow Harry, not the money he would ask for. But he's gonna borrow Lexi for the rest of his life. Heh?! What is the concept?
"When is your happy day called?" Although his heart was sliced asking this, but he was curious. Can he be present to see that day? Can he see Lexi with another man?
"Two weeks away." Harry answered.
"Isabel present?"
"Isabel will be present. She'll be the bridesmaid. I hope you don't mind accompanying her."
Steve nodded his head, "It is an honor to be with a princess. I wish I had an official invitation, "Steve looked back at Lexi.
Knowing that the statement was directed at him, Lexi nodded her head.
"I'll drive him. I haven't seen Mom in a long time, um, I mean Mr and Mrs. Percy's."
Steve smiled bitterly. The way Lexi called her parents changed. Yes, Lexi should have done it to keep her future husband feeling. Lexi did not want to cause a big question mark in Harry's heart, how could Lexi be that close to her parents.
"I'm waiting," he said with implied meaning.
"Harry and I are leaving. He asked me out on a date. Do you mind if we leave you?"
Mind it! Very objectionable! Why do you have to go on a date and where do you want to date?!
"No." It was precisely that casual answer that came out of his mouth. "I must not stand in the way of a couple trying to create a moment. Go ahead. Have a nice date."
"All right, Steve, me and Lexi, excuse me. I'll contact Isabel about your willingness to take the time to accompany her while she's here."
"Yes." Yeah." Steve realized his voice was almost blocked. He swallowed his saliva which turned out to be dry.
He laughed at himself in his heart. If he knew the end was like this, from the beginning he would probably choose not to start this game. If you finally have to watch Lexi with other men, it is better to follow her lust and selfishness by asking Lexi to wait for her.
But there is no point in regretting what happened. Accepting, that was the only option given to her.
Steve stared at the departure of the two until they disappeared behind the door. He lowered his head for a while, counting as many as ten before he raised his head. And as soon as he lifted his head, what he saw were two figures of infuriating men who had a strong hand over the suffering he was facing now. And damn it, the two bastard looked at him with concern.
"Hasrat wanted to kill Harry was very passionate. Why doesn't he have a little bad. It makes me even more angry. But even so, my passion evaporated after seeing your face, Pax Willson. Looks like my anger will gradually disappear if I vanish it by killing you."
The sentence was conveyed lightly and flatly, as if they were talking about the weather today.
"You're just gonna add trouble to your life, Buddy. Lexi's gonna hate you. You want to take the risk?" sahut Pax is no less.
Steve snarled, he lost.
"Loser!" His ejek with cynicism. He immediately stood up, throwing down the magazine on the table.
"The temperament is very bad" said Roxi who responded with a long breath Pax.
