Unable to fight, Lexi relented. Sit back to enjoy breakfast. One muffin he greedy in two bites, even with milk he sipped until the toilet was not left. Steve was almost amazed to see the way Lexi enjoyed her breakfast without any sweetness. But Steve had to admit, Lexi looks so adorable.
"Have you lost your tooth function?"
Lexi rubbed her mouth with the back of her hand. Staring at Steve with annoyed look. Still really annoyed with the man's attitude which he thought was very presumptuous.
"You swallow without chewing, that's what I see."
"That's because I want to rush out of your house." Lexi turned her face out the window. The feeling was calm and peaceful looking at the lemon that seemed to be ready for harvest. He likes the smell. Real and fresh.
"I think Brian needs to check his eyes."
Lexi turned quickly towards him. Frowning confused at the man's statement.
"You're so pretty. Not a little pretty."
The deg!
Damnit damnit! Why do I react every time he praises me. I am indeed beautiful. Then why should I go overboard like this?
Lexi subconsciously held both of her cheeks. A sense of heat spread the skin of his face. Steven who saw that made a smile.
"Is this how you seduce women?"
"If it's called seducing, it means you're the first woman I've seduced." Steve pulls up a chair, sits in front of Lexi. Put down the coffee cup he had been holding since. Lexi noticed the man's long fingers looking big on the side of the coffee cup. Clean and stocky.
"Do I have to be flattered?" Lexi's question is obviously harassing. Whoa! Nice response Lexi. Even if your heart explodes uncharacteristically, you can still be calm. Lexi gave her compliments.
At first glance the smile seen at the corner of Steven's lips looked haughty, and despite all his efforts to fight Steve, Lexi found herself looking at the sensual curves of the man's lips. Lexi hurriedly turned her gaze away as soon as she felt a different reaction of her body. And as he raised his head, their beads clashed. Lexi felt her tongue pinched between the roof of her mouth so that her lips could not make a sound. In that very short time, Lexi realized that the man before her knew what she was feeling.
Yeah, Steve knows Lexi's heart is racing and the girl's body is turning into an electric circuit. Steve knew the effect it had on Lexi. Starting from the splash to the vibration in the belly of the girl. The same effect it has on other women. The difference is, Lexi is trying to hold back while the women out there are making every cheap effort to tease her.
"It's too early to make you feel flattered, Ms. Willson." That cold and sharp voice resuscitated Lexi from her freezing.
Lexi gasped at the confident welcome. Yes, if you look at Steve's profile, what makes the man not confident. Mapan, rich, charismatic, handsome.... Shhh.... Did I just say it was handsome? Nah! Oh, Lexi, her hands even look so sturdy and sexy. Lexi groaned at the sound of her heart that again and again she could not control.
"I don't think this meeting is about physical attraction." Lexi waved one hand on her face. The wrong action, which actually shows if he is affected by Steve.
"You seem to admit that you're interested in me, Ms. Williamson."
"Geez!" Lexi stood up, glaring in annoyance. "Men like you, not my type, Mr. Dixton Ivarez's. I already have a lover. There's no way I'm betraying him. He's much more perfect than you."
"The last time you mentioned Brian was your girlfriend."
"That's because I don't want to defile the name of my lover who is the same as you!"
Steven shone at her with a ticklish look. "Discovering?" Steve was curious, how Lexi responded when he found out if the Steve he adored was sitting right now in front of him.
"I don't know why I should talk to you about this. Look, Dixton Ivarez, I don't know what you mean to tell the media that you're the one who stole my design. At first, I wanted to apologize to you sincerely, but looking at your actions, it seems you did it out of veiled intention."
"Ah, is that obvious?" Steve's reaction really made Lexi go up in blood. There is no denial, the man justifies.
"I think I'm awesome."
"Thank you for your breakfast and your generosity cleared my name." Lexi wasn't really sincere about it. He just wants to get out of there quickly. Start to feel stifled and unsafe. He also dislikes imagining his family worrying about him.
Steve nodded his head while smiling sweetly. The smile that almost made Lexi froze again.
"No need to accept my kindness."
"I'll make sure this is the last time I receive your kindness, Mr. Ivarez. I forgot to say one thing. Thank you also for your love letter filled with this threat." Lexi reached into her pocket, took out a piece of paper, placed it on the table. "Your class is very cheap, Ivarez."
"The cheap trick you call, it can actually make you depressed." Steve looked at the paper flatly. "You're very impressionable." he quipped in an harassing tone.
"Show me the way out!" fierce Lexi with a pushy tone.
"Of course." Steve moving. Walk towards the pantry. There is an elevator there that will take them to the main house. Steve pushed a button, let Lexi in. After Lexi came in, Steve took the position right behind Lexi. Close their bodies. His nose touched the woman's hair. Lexi reacted, almost jumping away. However, Steve immediately held both of the girl's arms to stay in place.
"The elevator will go fast" Steve gave a silly excuse. Lexi could finally just shut up. The fingers are linked, crumpling each other. He was scared but he was tempted too. This was not the first time, he felt Steve as if he was taking a chance on him.
"Our distance seems too close."
"Why?" Steve's voice was so sensual, it made Lexi's feathers bristle.
"My love won't like another man's smell in my body?" Lexi grimaced to realize her increasingly sobriety. Just be right! If Steve was alive, maybe he didn't care about me either. Monologue heart. Depressing. Lexi took a deep breath, a sense of tightness that always strikes every time she remembers Steve.
"Then what if she's cheating?"
"He would never cheat. He's a very loyal man."
"How are you so sure about that?" Somehow the story is now the two are facing each other. Both of Steven's hands covered both of his cheeks. Lexi looked at him.
"My heart says."
"What if your heart is wrong?" Their noses touched. Breaths are mutually beneficial.
"No way."
"How did you know?" Steve tilted his head, the distance between his lips was very thin. Lexi closed her eyes.
"Because he never looked at me until he was gone. In his heart, there was only one female name. And it wasn't me."
Steve was electrocuted. Pulling both hands away from Lexi's face, retreating away from Lexi until her body was cornered.
Ting.
Open elevator. Steve was still sculpting, while Lexi had stepped out.
"I'll forget about your stupidity, Mr. Ivarez. Please for next, be careful when touching me because I'm a little stupid judging men. I could've misunderstood your attitude." Lexi stepped away, trying to look tough even though her legs had actually lost their strength.
