"I know you're on a board!" With a grouchy face, Lexi reached out to help Steve stand up. "Regend! Don't be like a dying kitten."

Steve welcomes Lexi's hand, instead of standing up, he pulls strongly until Lexi falls on his lap.

"Ivarez!!!"

"Steve's... Steven... You can call me that."

"I refuse!" Intended to stand up, but Steve hugged his stomach tightly. Rebelling will actually make their position even more strange.

"Lexy..."

"Don't whisper in my ear!" looking back, a very wrong action because their noses touched. Steve gave a naughty smile.

"It's like you're looking for an opportunity. Want to feel my kiss again?"

Lexi who was stunned by the man's good looks, immediately realized hearing the man's less acidic apron. He pushed Steve, the man holding both his hands.

"How are you feeling?"

"I'm good."

Steve nodded, both of them silent for a moment. All they do is look at each other. Steve bowed his head first. It was only a few seconds before he again raised his head and looked at Lexi.

"I'm sorry."

"For?"

"Everything."

"Everything? As I recall, you don't have anything wrong."

"Your reaction surprised me."

"You can pretend to forget it. I'm the one who should be sorry for making such a mess in your house."

"You're the one who has to stop pretending, Lexi. Look okay, look happy in front of others just because they don't want them to be sad and worry about you. That's an incorrect act. They'll only get hurt more if they find out that you've been hiding your grief." Steve got rid of the strands of hair that covered Lexi's face. His fingers rubbed the girl's temples slowly and carefully.

"I thought you were so irritable to talk, I was wrong." Lexi's stomach was clanking, breaking the serious calm atmosphere. They both compactly look to the source of the sound. Belly Lexi.

"My ring sings."

"Yes, a very sweet song." Steve stood up, then helped Lexi stand up. "Is there any special food you want?" Steve put their fingers together, he thought Lexi would resist and rebel. But it seemed, the hungry stomach of the girl made her concentration unfocused. Hand in hand they walked out of the room.

"If I'm hungry like this, I'm not picky. I can eat it too."

Steve stopped his steps to hear Lexi's words that sounded like seduction in his ears. "I? You want to devour me?"

"Yes!" Lexi roared, moving her hands free from Steve's grasp to form a cat's scratch. Steve chuckled, anxious to see the girl's behavior.

"What part of my body is it that interests you?"

Lexi watched Steve from top to bottom, doing it three times. "Nothing interesting actually. You're not my type, remember!"

"Ah, yes, I'm not your type. But, as I recall, there were those who admired my muscles so much when they were plain-looking."

"Ivarez!!!" Lexi pulled her hand until their grasp slipped. Steve pulled that hand back.

"Don't take it off. When I hold you, never take it off."

Lexi was stunned, even she looked down at the hands of those who were clinging to each other. Looks very fitting. Lexi felt her blood rustling, she liked what she saw.

"Can't you trust me?"

"A man's mainstay moves when he doesn't know what to answer."

Steve chuckled, "It looks like you know that type of guy very well." Steve continued his steps. The two went down the stairs with their hands clinging to each other.

"Yes, I have two brothers who are so valued by women. They always use that technique to save themselves."

"I never used that style."

"You just used it. I think I'm your first victim."

Again and again Steve laughed at Lexi's accusation. "Your hungry stomach seems to be causing trouble. Sit down, I'll make you something."

"Where's your servant?"

"Rest. Do you want anything?" Steve rolled up his sleeves up to his elbows. Lexi found herself staring at the man's every move. So beautiful and seductive. Steve looks good in the kitchen. Lexi did not know if men's good looks could increase 1000 percent when acting in the kitchen. Lexi was curious as to whether the man's good looks were getting no medicine while playing the knife cutting vegetables. Is there an apron? Ah, it would be adorable if there was a pink apron.

"Switchy,"

"Tick?" Steve parroted.

"Yes, put on an apron. You must look more charming."

Steve choked, suddenly he was wrong. He scratched his nape that was not itchy, his ears were even reddened.

"After all the compliments you've given. Why are you rejecting me? Be my lover."

Lexi rolled her eyes with a puff. Steve doesn't know if Lexi can do something like that. "Layla is also very manly, manly and charming..."

"Stop. I'm not an animal, Lexi."

"Crocodiles are animals too, Ivarez."

Steve's laughter exploded instantly until his graham teeth were seen. The girl's curse was always beyond his expectations. His laughter grew louder when he saw Lexi's innocent mimic that was not infected with her laughter at all. The girl just looked at him.

"I offended Lexi."

"That's the point that you stop seducing me. In the near future, I have no intention of opening a crocodile farm."

"Truly, the crocodile is the most loyal animal, Ms. Williamson."

"I'm hungry, are you good at cooking?" Lexi changed the topic. Speaking of feelings with Steve, he could be out for a long time. He could not deny that the charm of the man before him could not be underestimated.

"Yes. Just tell me what you want. As you think about what you want. I'll make Focaccia bread. You like her a lot, don't you?"

"How did you know? Oh, my God, are you a psychic? A stalker? I feel like you know me well?"

"That's because I admire."

"I'm so hungry. You better focus on cooking. Your rant doesn't make me full, Ivarez." Lexi's protest tone sounded very spoiled. Steve likes to hear the girl whining.

"Alright, your words are an order, miss." Steve is in action. Throughout the cooking, Steve was completely focused. Doesn't speak if Lexi doesn't ask.

"The smell is very fragrant, are you a chef?"

"I can be anything you want."

"Oh, the aroma is not foreign, just like my mother's cooking."

Steve, who had just lifted the bread from the grill, stopped his movement. The smell is the same, this is his mother's recipe. The bread that his mother cooked every time Lex came to visit his house. Although Lexi forbids her mother from telling her about her arrival at their home, Steve always knows when Lexi visits her mother. Lexi's fragrant scent was always left on their worn sofa or the pillows she often wore.

"Taste your mother? The cooking must be really good."

"Very good. You should try it."

"Should. I miss him too."
