"Dad..." Lexi whined spoiled while hugging her father's body from behind. Wherever his father went, he stuck and tailed. Not taking off his arms at all since Steve got out of their house. "Dad..."

"Hmmm," Pax enters Layla's cage, examining the lion's condition despite a doctor's examination.

"I have a story."

"Daddy will listen."

"So, yesterday morning I cooked for Lily. The girl was angry with me. I intend to persuade her by cooking her favorite meal."

"Oh poor girl. Is he getting angry at you?" His father chimed in while rubbing Layla's head and then came back out. Forced Pax to slow his pace because his daughter was stuck to his back.

"Hais, you're insulting my cooking, Dad."

"Think you're that bad, Sweety."

Hearing her father's reply, Lexi rewarded one small bite on her father's back.

"Lily doesn't exist."

"Thanks God's. The girl survived."

"Dad!" this time Lexi hit her father's shoulder. "I said Isla wasn't in jail. He's been moved."

"Why can?"

"I don't know. That's why I told you to look for him."

"That's beyond our control, Honey. So, how was your night? Sleep well?"

Lexi cleared her throat as she tightened her embrace. "Well, the story will continue. After I didn't find Lily, I met her."

"With him?"

"Hmm, with that young man."

"Which young man?" Pax entered the study, where his son was busy with his computer. Seeing the presence of Pax and Lexi, Darren stops his work. Nosediving eyebrows at the behavior of his sister who was claiming wrong.

"Yes, that young man!"

"Which "young man? Dude, do you know who that young man your sister was referring to?"

"Maybe the same guy as the guy who almost ate Layla, Dad."

"You're a bitch, Darren! So irritating! That was outrageous."

"He's not dead yet." Darren closed the laptop in front of him.

"Jeez, Dad, did you hear that? Your son is going to kill him!"

"Disregard what your brother says, continue your story. And can you let go of your arms, Lexi?"

"No, before I finish my story!"

"Alright," Pax was forced to stand up, following his daughter's will.

"I met him in prison..."

"Why is he in prison, he's a criminal?" Darren. Lexi snorted angrily, not liking her brother to join her conversation with her father.

"She said that she hadn't eaten yet and then asked me to go... Hmm, I mean..."

"Dating. You wanted to say date, didn't you?" again and again Darren interjected and interfered. "If you want to admit a mistake, do it right. Don't invent any other lies."

"Tell that to yourself!" sarcasm Lexi was still with an annoyed look. "So, he suddenly asked me out on a date, Dad." He said in a soft tone, as if he was whispering.

"Then?" Pax rubbed his daughter's hand that was coiled around her stomach. Touch that seems to hint that there is nothing wrong with dating. Pax wants his daughter open. They are sharing stories, not in the courtroom to judge the unexpected.

"That's not open to the public, Lexi." Darren fixed Lexi's awkward-sounding sentence in his ear. Uninhabited, he remembered the empty house in the residence of Brian Milles who called the man as a haunted house.

"Dad, can you get him out of here!"

"Darren, go." That instant also Pax fulfilled his daughter's request. Lexi smiled triumphantly. And to make Darren annoyed, he deliberately released his tongue to his brother. Darren soon departed from his father's seat of greatness, obeying his father's orders and obeying his brother's will.

"He enjoyed my cooking until it was over. It looks like he's really hungry." Lexi continued her story after the door closed. He left himself and his father there.

"Ooh... Looks like she's really hungry, Honey."

"Yes, that's what I said Dad. She had diarrhea, like Darren had when we were in school. I came to his house to deliver medicine. I felt guilty, because intentionally or not, I was the cause of her stomach ache. There's no one there. He had to be watched all night. If not, he could be dehydrated. I'm just fulfilling my responsibilities, Dad. Ii'm sorry. I shouldn't have lied."

Silent moment.

Lexi gave her father time to digest what he had just said.

Pax removed Lexi's arms from her stomach, then twisted her body to face her daughter.

"You like it?"

"Huh?" bead Lexi buyak wide. That was not the response he expected to get out of his father's mouth. "No-no, no, I don't like it."

"Good."

"Huh?"

"It's good that you don't like it."

"Can't I like it?" Lexi asked a stupid question. Clearly, his father was confused to hear the question.

"What is this question, dear? You just said you didn't like it."

"Yes, I didn't like it for a moment. Tomorrow or the day after, I don't know." Lexi is uncomfortable with her father's emphasis, which seems to emphasize that Lexi shouldn't like Steve.

"Then let's talk about it if your feelings change, tomorrow or the day after." Pax smiled warmly, rubbing the head of his beloved daughter gently. "This time you're forgiven. Don't repeat it."

___

Darren came down the stairs, looking at the wall clock as soon as his eyes caught Austin who had just entered through the main door. As usual, his sister's face was always fresh, excited and there was no burden.

"You're home yet?"

"You see me here, of course I'm home. Where's Dad, Mom, and Sexy?" Austin landed his ass on the couch.

"You won?" Darren. Ignoring Austin's question.

"I didn't play last night."

"Then why does your face seem to hint that you just won a lot of lotteries."

"I'm dating."

"What's so special about this date? I'd be surprised if you didn't go on a date for even one day."

Austin laughed at his brother's sarcasm. "You should have followed me in my footsteps, Dude. Women are a gift. We should spoil and please them."

"All I see is that you always take them to bed."

Austin's laughter exploded. Darren's an expert in insinuating.

"Dating last night was different. For the first time I missed it without any bed scenes. This woman is different." Austin clucked, "Beautiful, graceful, and a little rosy."

"As I recall, your type is sexy, voluptuous and seductive."

"Ouuh, my brother apparently knows what it's called bahenol. Tell me, if you can't live without a woman either."

"My privacy isn't for kuumbar, man." Darren's moving. The silliness of Austin will be endless.

"I'm not someone else."

"Nobody calls you anybody else. And talk about dating. Lexi's dating, too. Steven Dixton Ivarez, that guy seems very interested in our Lexi."

Austin chuckled, "Lexi we're all that amazing." Both of them took a deep breath.
