What Plan?

"Still relaxed haven't exploded. It makes me even more sure you're up to something."

Steve didn't have to bother to raise his head just to see who the annoying bully figure that entered his room was.

"Don't be fooled by the outward appearance, don't you see her face so tangled? Not a good sign that means not finding a plan at all."

A different voice was heard. It turned out that there was not only one bully, but two. Yeah, right, Beth and Roxi live in one apartment and the two men are crossing her study.

"Did he start to go deaf? He's ignoring us?" Beth throws her body onto the couch, followed by Roxi next to her.

"He was just pretending to be deaf, not strong enough to accept the reality that would ravage his heart like a merciless tsunami hit."

Beth and Roxi then broke up. There is no sympathy at all to see colleagues who are upset. Basic friends are less acidic!

"He needs to also pretend to be blind then." Beth's still acting shitty. Yeah, that guy seemed designed to make a Steve blood.

"Don't you see if he's already done both roles. Deaf and blind," Roxi chimed in and the man was no less annoying than Beth.

"I thought I'd come here to wish you a happy, full day. No, he lost the start. Very far. Ck! Should I look at her with pity, Beth?"

"As a good partner, we can feel what he feels, Rox. That's why we're here. Give comfort."

"Yes, you're right." Roxi patted Beth on the shoulder, agreeing with what the man in blue said.

"Beth?"

"Hmm?"

"Do you know?"

"No. You haven't told me."

"Yes, you're right. Listen to me then."

"Yes, I'm listening to you."

"If I were in our partner's position. Honestly, I won't be able to, won't be strong. Maybe I'd rather die."

Is this what I am told to be entertaining? Roxi sounded like he was provoking Steve to end his life. A friend of the curse indeed!

"I agree with you, Rox. This is too sad. So hurtful. If necessary, I will shoot my own head in front of the bride a second before the pledge is pronounced. That way, everyone there will feel guilty, haunted by the end of this sad story."

"ouch! I shuddered to imagine it. It's a tragic end. But I love that kind of ending. How, Steve? You want to try our proposal?"

"I'll think. Are you guys very happy?"

Steve still had not shifted his gaze at all from what he was working on. The man removed the contact lens he had been using, changed with the glasses perched on his nose, there was a slight crack in the left lens.

Roxi sighs in pity. He knows the story of the glasses. The glasses Lexi gave her as the girl visited the isolation prison. The glasses that the girl thought were thrown away. Yes, at that time Steve was forced to do it to hurt Lexi. But Roxi bears witness to how foolish the man was when fighting for the safety of the glasses in the midst of the blaze as well as when they were on the brink with a river so very heavy under them.

As the trigger pulled, Steve hugged the object in his stomach firmly. Make sure the glasses stay with him. If he died that day, he would have died. And Steve wants to die along with something related to Lexi.

Roxi's poor sense of humor evaporated after recalling that.

"What are you working on?"

"I wonder who killed the president. Maybe by knowing that we can find the mastermind behind all this. Mr's Death. President, that doesn't mean the enemy will stop at nothing to destroy this country. It was precisely the man's death that would bring him one step closer to his goal."

"Hey, Dude, there's ten days to go before Lexi's wedding. You sure you're gonna be a wise man who's happy to let go of her with the original title of her happy?"

"The wedding will happen." Steve stood up, he stretched his neck muscles. Then she removed the glasses, rubbing both corners of her horrible eyes. The dark circles are getting clearer and clearer imprinted there. Steve hasn't slept in days. Errata, he had never slept all this time. And he really doesn't want to sleep. In twenty-four hours, two hours was the time he could give himself to rest. Besides the mirror, sleep is the enemy.

"You're serious, man?" This time Roxi was really looking at him with concern.

"Yes." Yeah." Her legs were short while sitting across from Roxi. "How's Julia doing? She must be sorry to marry you."

Roxi chuckled, knowing that Steve was trying to shift the subject.

"He regretted why we were just discovered by the universe. Come on, Dude, you can see how crazy my wife is about me."

Steve smiled in response.

"You're asleep?"

"Is there any clue where Olivia took her captive?"

"Yet. You're asleep already?"

"Olivia should be watched closely. I don't want him screwing up Lexi's wedding."

Twice he ignored Roxi's question.

"I've asked someone to watch her until she comes home. There was nothing suspicious about him other than meeting Arthur Cony. Ck! I feel sorry for that bastard's wife. They have a very sweet daughter. Have you slept?"

"If you feel sorry, you can propose to be their guardian. I'll be proud of you for your noble actions."

Three times. Steve had already ignored Roxi's question three times and the man started to get irritated.

"Curtain! Do you really intend to end it all in such a tragic way?"

Steve curled his brows, "What do you mean?"

"You really intend to kill yourself by torturing yourself like this?"

"Do I look that depressed?" Steve looks a little offended.

"You ever watch zombies?"

"Hororor is not my favorite. I hate it when they show up all of a sudden."

"You look like one of those zombies, man."

Steve was silent, and he exhaled long. Silent, the two just kept quiet and stared at each other. Meanwhile, Beth, has focused on the work that was handled by Steve.

"Should I go and lay down on the bed?" Steve was the first to speak in that momentary silence.

"Please reflect on your intentions for a while, Dude." Beth sounds.

Steve and Roxi looked at him. The man raised both corners of his lips.

"Lexi's in the yard."
