"Where are you?" Steve asked through a small tool stuck in his ear. While his eyes were staring flatly at the group of people gathered in the ballroom. Brian, Dean, Vincent, Neal, Lily, look like they're having a conversation. Laughing with no burden at all. Their faces still look the same. Nothing has changed so far in Steve's memory. His eyebrows swooped when he saw Neal grab Lily's waist possessively, then fondle the woman's lips wildly.
Steve shifted his gaze, looking for another group that was no less rotten than Brian's group. His eyes stopped on the dance floor. Darren Willson approaches Lexi, who is dancing with the prince. Harry Geonandes's. Darren pulls Lexi out of the prince's arms. Harry clucked and protested. Darren doesn't care about it, the iru man pulls Lexi's hand and puts it on her shoulder. Darren whispered something in Lexi's ear, made the two girl beads buy and in the next second, the girl laughed as she hit her brother's chest. The two now follow the song while occasionally laughing. Just like Brian and his group, Willson's family life also looks fine. Again and again Darren whispered something in Lexi's ear, now the look on the girl's face turned tense. For a moment Lexi spontaneously stopped their dance, but Darren asked her to keep dancing.
Steve who noticed the interaction of the two, slightly frowned. What Darren said made Lexi face instantly frightened. Hais! It's a little distracted. Has the plan been read by the man? Ck!
"I am in a place no one will ever know. Why is your face so tense, man."
Steve immediately turned his gaze away from the dance floor. He closed his eyes for a moment, then he turned in all directions, until he finally found what he was looking for 50 seconds later. "Have you seen the target?"
"Yes. And it's very easy for me. Heart or head?"
"Lexi Stevani Willson."
"What?!"
"Give your gun to the girl."
"You crazy?!"
"Just follow it."
"Steve, it's outside of the game..."
Steve removed the device from his ear and stepped on it. As soon as he stood up from his chair, the party would begin.
Brugh!
Someone hit him, made him almost topple over. Steve looked back, and his hard face changed instantly.
"Sorry," exclaimed the man who hit him who was none other than his former teacher. Mr. Arthur Cony's. Steve ignored the man's exclamation as his gaze focused on the two people who had just entered the main door. Father and mother. How could they be present at this banquet. Damnit damnit! He did not expect this. Both of his hands were clenched tightly. Panic began to attack him. He didn't want anything bad to happen to both of them. There will be a disaster here in a matter of minutes.
"I'm sorry, I didn't notice my steps."
Steve tilted his head. "No problem, Mr. Cony." Steve lets Arthur Cony through. From what he remembered, his former teacher now looked more authoritative. He wondered if Brian and his concert could still manage the middle-aged man.
Mr. Cony greets Pax and Alena Willson. They sit down and have a conversation. Steve again rolled his eyes to the dance floor. Lexi's still there. Dance with Harry Geonandes. Darren himself has joined his business partner.
Steve glanced at the luxurious clock on his wrist. Five more minutes. He has to get his mom and dad out of here. Steve moved on, but his steps came back to a standstill. He did not see his mother and father anymore. Damnit damnit! He lost track of both.
Steve pulled out his phone, called someone. "How many bullets do you have?"
"Quite a lot."
"There's gonna be someone throwing bombs at this fucking palace. My mom and dad are here. Stop the action in two minutes and lay down your bullet in the next second."
"The more you talk, the more time you waste. Main page. High-statured young man, the only guest to carry a bag to a banquet like this. Stop him." Stop him." Steve disconnected the phone unilaterally. He did not want to waste time hearing his partner's rejection.
Steve waited for two minutes to keep an eye on Lexi. Two minutes, one second. He ran towards the woman. Hap! Lexi was now in his arms.
A slupp!!
The bullet landed on Steve's back. Hustle and bustle happened instantly. While Lexi could only sculpt, she fell silent in Steven's arms with her chin stuck to the man's left shoulder.
"Close all the gates and don't let anyone out. There were 200 invited guests and six of them intruders." Darren gives the order, pulling Lexi violently from Steven's embrace. His gaze was merciless.
"Armgh!" Lexi flinched, as if her life had just returned.
"You okay?" Darren asked without turning his gaze away from Steve who was also looking at Lexi blatantly.
The girl's lips were trembling. It looks like Lexi's really scared. The woman's headband delivered a foreign sensation in Steven's heartburn. He doesn't like it. Really don't like it.
"You said there would be intruders. But you didn't say I was their target, Darren. Wh-why me? Oh my..." He suddenly shrieked, looking towards Steven. The two beads are clashing. Lexi took Darren's grip off his hand. "Are you hurt?" Lexi walked up to the man, examined Steve's hands, then twisted the man's body when she found no front wound. "Oh...." Lexi again screamed in shock when she saw blood spilling from Steve's back. "You're hurt. Oh, my God, this must be really painful. Darren, you need to find the culprit and get a doctor now. Oh, my God, you could bleed out. What am I supposed to do, what am I gonna do? Moms... Dad..."
"You hurt?" Pax and Alena join them. Brian and his group. The atmosphere is calm and conducive. The intruder has even been found.
"No. I'm doing fine. But he's..." Lexi pointed at Steven. All eyes were on the man. Brian and his group throw one another a glance.
"Steven Dixton Ivarez." Steve reached out his hand. Pax welcomed him immediately.
"I don't remember if we invited you."
"He's an intruder." Darren slapped fiercely.
"Gavin Vasquez and his wife could not attend. Helli's having a false contraction." Answer it calmly.
"Oh!" Pax nodded in understanding. "Your wounds must be treated. Thank you in advance. Thanks to you, my daughter is fine. Please." Pax invites Steven to come with him for treatment.
"Dad!" Darren protested. I didn't like the hospitality his father showed. Although Steve denies the alleged intruder carried the name Gavin, Darren still does not believe the man.
"We'll talk later. You better handle the other intruders." Pax gave the order.
"Other intruders?" Steve interrupted. "Your statement confirms that I am an intruder, Mr. Willson."
"Our invitation cannot be represented, Mr. Ivarez. You're still an intruder." Pax smiled modestly. "But as a good host, we can't possibly let the person who saved my daughter just walk away. Whether you have motive or not." The middle-aged man's sarcasm was still with a meaningful smile on his face.
"Sexii, take this young man to the guest room. Daddy Ansel will be here soon to check on his wound."
