Stay away from Lexi

"You don't have to drive me home." Lexi exhaled a long breath looking at the towering iron fence. Steve's presence at his house will reinforce his lies. He will apologize to his family for the lie, but not by bringing directly the subject that was behind the lie.

"I don't want to look like a jerk."

"The thing is you're an asshole, Ivarez. I'm going down, you go."

Lexi's expulsion is meaningless. The fence was wide open, allowing the man's limousine to enter unhindered.

"You kicked me out, but it looks like your family's very welcoming to me." Darren was bathing a lion. Steve can guess if the lion is Layla. Tough and sangar. Pax Willson is enjoying coffee with his wife. Several Willson safety crews were also seen on standby at some point.

"Ease you. Layla doesn't like strangers." Lexi returned with a deep breath. Dare not imagine what will happen. Bring in the man who once pointed a gun to his family. As if that was not enough, he again shuddered in horror at the reaction of his family if he knew he had spent the night at the man's house.

"I wouldn't be responsible if Layla's fangs hurt you. Remember, you forced me to drive me home. Hiis, why did Darren have to get Layla to play this early?" the girl grumbled as she opened the car door.

Seeing their presence, Darren stops his activities playing with Layla. The man wiped away the sweat dripping from his forehead.

"Darren," Lexi waved with an awkward smile on her pretty face. The smile made him look strange. "Hi."

"You're home yet?" Darren asked indifferently, his eyes glancing at the limousine, waiting for the car owner to get off.

"No. I'm still in space, flying high across nirvana."

Lexi's silly answer distracts Darren.

"You okay?"

"Yes. You can see it."

Darren glanced at it with one swift move. Make sure Lexi's saying is true. Darren walked over, Layla tailed obediently. The lion roared, making Lexi screech in shock.

"Why is he roaring?!"

"He's hungry." Darren knocked on the window because Steve wasn't coming down. Steve lowered the glass window. "It's not polite to come to see you but not say hello."

Steve cleared his throat, his eyes glancing towards the drooling lion. The lion was hungry.

"I asked him to come home, Darren. By the way, isn't Layla hungry, feed her not to chirp."

"Layla was looking at the food," Darren's remark made Lexi buyak shocked. There's no way Darren's going to make Steven Layla's meal.

Hearing Darren's words, Steve clucked arrogantly. As soon as he got out of the car, Darren then exclaimed.

"Go, Layla."

"Darren!" Lexi squeaked her voice while pulling her brother's arm. Darren's deaf. His eyes flashed flatly at Steve who was looking at Layla. Both of them looked like fighters who were putting together a fusillade, from which angle they should roughly attack.

Layla roars.

"Layla, no!" Lexi intends to approach the two, preventing a fight from happening. However, his brother's burly hand blocked his intention.

Seeing the roar of the lion, Steve retreated, unfortunately the lion just went forward.

"It looks like your brother really wants to make me a fresh piece of meat for Layla's food."

GGRR...

Layla again growled, as if not liking when Steve mentioned her name.

Steve ran around the yard, jumping, dodging as Layla barked her mouth ready to eat her feet.

Steve jumped back up the wall when the lion was not there to stop after him.

"Came on, STOP!!" Lexi kept shouting, asking the lion to stop. The girl was really panicking.

"Aragh!" Steve grimaced when his feet did not land successfully. He sprained, causing him to fall on the ground.

"Damn!!" he cursed violently as he raised his head and the lion was now looking at him with a glowing bead as if he was ready to eat. Steve crawled backwards in a sitting position because his legs were in trouble. Seeing that, Darren smiled triumphantly.

"Armghh!" Steve groaned as the lion managed to bite his arm. With the rest of his strength, Steve threw a fist at Layla's face. His resistance made Layla even more angry and violent.

"Darren, stop Layla. You can make that man die."

"That's the goal. Layla is hungry" he said without any burden.

"Oh my God, are you crazy?"

"He deserves it!" mimik Darren is still flat. Her lips will twitch if Layla manages to attack Steve. The man's clothes were already in disarray, some of Layla's claws were successfully presented to Steve.

Bup!

One shot struck the lion's neck. An anesthetic that managed to make Layla fall. Darren clucked in annoyance, he was not satisfied watching the man's mess. Darren tilted his head, looking for a figure that ruined his happiness.

"Dad!" protest the man. It turns out that the shooter who toppled Layla was his own father.

"Enough" said his father calmly. Slowly, Pax approached Steve and reached out, intending to help the man stand up.

Steve received the hand with a hand covered in blood. "I don't know if this is how Willson welcomes a guest."

"Layla is very sensitive to strangers."

"Sensitive? All I see is that the lion was deliberately starved" Steve said fiercely.

"And you survived the meal," Pax chuckled, staring amusedly at the wound Steven had gotten.

"Should I thank you?" sarcastic Steve with a slanted smile that slipped from the corner of his lips.

"Come on, someone's gonna treat your wounds." Pax did not respond to the man's remarks.

"Where's Lexi?" Steve loosened his gaze and did not find the girl there anymore. Doesn't he care if I'm alive or dead? Her thought.

"Sobbing."

"Hit?"

"Yes, for ignoring his orders to stop Layla." Darren joined them. "Stay away from Lexi" he concluded frankly.

Steve curled his eyebrows cynically, "Why should I stay away from him?"

"Because you already have a lover, you son of a bitch!" Darren clutched the collar of the man's shirt. He can't stay silent when it comes to Lexi's happiness. And he had a hunch that the man would give his sister new wounds. "Just because Lexi looks innocent, doesn't mean you have the right to mess with her."

"Wuaah, I'm flattered you know a little bit of my personal life, Willson. So you're spying on me?" Steve looked at Darren from behind his dense, plump eyelashes. Looks sharp and waving.

"You'd be surprised to know that I know more than you think, Ivarez. Ah, or should I call you, Steven Percy?!"
