Harry with some bodyguards visited another village. Spread as many photos of Lexi as possible. None of the residents claimed to have seen Lexi.
Harry was rubbing his hair, really feeling very frustrated. It had been four months and he had not found a speck of hope at all. He has even paid a reliable diver to check back along the river. Even traces showing that Lexi drowned there were not found. While picking up the car that the girl was driving, no Lexi items were found there. In addition to the car used was Olivia's car, Lexi did not bring anything. Just wearing clothes and a wedding ring.
"What am I supposed to do, Lexi?" He asked the calm flowing water, a calmness that was very contrary to what he was currently feeling.
"I should have done what Steve was doing back then" he smiled bitterly remembering how Steve jumped without a second thought. And now, he knew the story behind the recklessness the wretched man had been doing after the trial.
Harry finds out about Steve's life, and realizes that Steve is the man Lexi had been visiting at the funeral.
"At least by plunging in with you, I felt what you felt back then. If only one of us could survive, there would be no more regrets for me because at least I did my job as a husband." Harry picked up a stone, threw it away.
During these four months, his life had never calmed down. He is haunted by guilt, causing anger in himself. Feeling like he is the worst man because he can't protect the woman he just married.
Harry also scoffs at him when he sees Lexi's free-fall car he does is stare at him without being able to move his body.
He is the man Lexi chose, the same man as the young man who claimed to be infatuated with Lexi since a dozen years ago. What did he do to Lexi to prove his feelings? As Harry remembered, he did nothing but express his feelings and waited sweetly for Lexi to come to him, offering her a marriage.
"Harry, it's late afternoon, we'd better get back to the hotel."
Harry took a deep breath, turned his head, looked at the discolored sky.
"You're like twilight, it's fun but it doesn't last long. Twilight has also taught what it means to give. Do I have to let you go, Lexi?"
Slowly he moved out of his place. Away from the river to his car.
"Ke bar," He gave orders to the assistant who doubles as a driver as well as his friend. Eliminating his sanity and consciousness was a consolation he did to forget his guilt even for a moment.
"Mrs. Geonandes says...."
"My dad wouldn't have known if you hadn't told me, Jeff. Did you book a hotel?"
"The usual hotel. Your sister Isabel will also come in two days. He will stay at the same hotel. In the same room. Because that day, we have to go back. There's a job that you have to deal with in person and a few events that demand that you attend."
"Can you be more human, Jeff? I'm still in a mourning mood and you're giving me so much work, huh?"
"I'm sorry. That's your responsibility. Mr. Geonandes also doesn't want you to drag on in grief."
"Know what he is about what I feel. That's upsetting!"
After a journey of almost an hour, the car stopped in front of a bar he used to visit.
"Not follow me, Jeff. Go back to the hotel. Rest up. Austin's gonna be in there."
"I have to make sure of it."
"You're arguing, Jeff?"
"Harry's..."
"Leave the car and cancel all my meetings in the next two days. Order another room for me to occupy. Let Isabel occupy the usual room. Call Isabel first, what's her arrival is certain."
"Mrs. Willson called...."
"I'll visit them tomorrow. Go."
____
"Repulia,"
Zenia introduced herself to five humans who were her sister's friends. Malvyn, Harold, Theodor, Belinda and Carla. As Zetta said, her friends are very friendly and very nice. Good for refreshing eyes.
"Zetta might be back tomorrow, I hope you can still enjoy this holiday. Let me take you to the house you're going to occupy. Carla and Belinda, you two can stay home with me."
"Thank you, Zania. That's very kind of you. I'm worried about having to sleep on one roof with Theodor. He's the guy who claims to have sleep walking." Carla said she immediately got a sharp shot from the man in question.
"I do suffer from this disorder!"
"Oh yeah?! I can't believe it. You only reasoned to be able to get into the women's room. You want to peek at Belinda, don't you?"
Theodor pointed to the shoulder, "At least you didn't launch a slander saying I wanted to peek at you, Carla. No one can take a peek at you who are all minimalist." Theodor raised a mocking gaze that made Carla beaver for a moment. He lunged at the man and Theodor managed to convict and escape.
"Forget them, so which house will we occupy, Zinia." Malvyn asked, a man of a decent height. It has an iris that is similar to sea water. Soothing blue.
"Oh, that house next to mine," Zenia pointed and guided Malvyn, Harold and Belinda.
"There are a few things I want to buy. Where can I buy men's gear, Zinia?" Malvyn asked again. Harold and Belinda had already joined Carla and Theodor after putting their belongings at home.
"As you can see, I didn't bring any clothes I wore." Malvyn explained.
Zenia smiled, "You should go to the village. You can buy anything at Mrs' department store. Dowson."
"The village?"
"Hm... You should drive a car there. There's a car rental place." Zenia stopped talking when she saw Steve get out of the car. The man went to the village to pick up his car and also shop for the items the man needed.
Steve wore shorts with oversized shirts whose hands were deliberately cut to create a large enough hole. The neck also experienced the same thing to show his chest. The man was wearing a hat with an upside down model. Looks like a bandit teaser. Zenia reflex touches her neck, the brash shadow of Steve landing a kiss there suddenly teasing her.
"Now, how am I supposed to get there, Zinia? We don't have a car yet."
"I'll find a solution... Auwww..." He suddenly screamed as sand entered his eyes from Harold's throw that did not hit Belinda who ran towards them.
"Oh, sorry, Zinia..." Belinda apologized. Zenia smiled a smile even though her eyes felt an incredible pain, even had tears.
"It's okay. Things like this happen."
"You should wash it. Let me see first" Malvyn summed up his face. "Let me blow it."
Steve who just finished moving his groceries, stared into the crowd on the beach.
"Zetta's friends have arrived?" He monologues while calculating the number of visible humans.
His eyes widened instantly as soon as his eyes caught the figure of Zenia. The girl clasped the hand of the man who encapsulated her face. Both positions do look unfavorable from the point where Steve is at the moment.
"What are you doing, motherfucker?!" He pushed Malvyn to his back on the sand, then he pulled the man's neck, forced him to stand up and before Malvyn realized what was going to happen, Steve had floated his bogem.
"Hey, Dude, what are you doing?" Harold and Theodor approach, intent on breaking up by holding Steve's hands together. Baby, Steve's no match for them. Steve easily got rid of the two men and went back to attacking Malvyn. The man's lips had already shed quite a lot of blood. The screams of Belinda, Carla and Zinia were ignored.
"Oh my God, who is this vicious man and what is he doing? Is there no security here, Zenia?"
"I-I don't know."
"How can you not know?" Harold asked, representing a similar question that his other friends wanted to raise.
"Hey, Dude, stop it, you can kill my friend!" Theodor stands between Steve and Malvyn and the poor hero gets a raw bogeman from Steve.
"Damn it! He's like a starving lion. This man is not sane, what should we do? Say something Zinia. Where is the beach security?"
"S-Steven Percy's. Stop that!"
Zenia ran up to the two, standing between the two men, just as Theodor did. He ventured to hug Steve, closed his eyes, ready to take a blow from Steve.
There was no punch, no sound other than wind gusts that collided with the waves of sea water as well as irregular breaths.
Zinia looked up, finding Steve looking down at her with an angry look.
"My eyes are flickering," she stammered.
Steve instantly summarized his face, gently blowing those soothing beautiful eyes.
"Di-he tried to help me. Help blow it."
Steve showed a surprised reaction for a split second, as if already aware of his error. He looked behind Zinia's back, looking at Malvyn's almost battered face, being helped by his two friends to stand up.
"Are they better than me?"
"Huh?" Obviously it wasn't a question that Zenia expected to come out of Steve's mouth. Sorry, Steve should have apologized for attacking for no reason.
"You're interested in them?"
"What?"
"Use your eyes to see me. Don't approach any man without my knowledge. So, tell me, who's better?"
"What do you mean?"
"Do you like them or do you like me?"
"I don't understand...."
"Like me or him?" Steve pointed at Malvyn using his chin. Malvyn looked at him with a vengeance and Steve did not care at all.
"Why..."
"Java!"
"I'm..."
"I'll beat all three of them if you give me an answer I don't like. Like me or her?"
Zenia was clearly confused by Steve's absurd attitude and ridiculous actions.
"It looks like you want to see me beat them back."
"No.no... Don't do that. L'm... I like you."
"Like me?"
Zinia nodded.
"Good." He let go of Zinia and walked up to Malvyn. Harold and Theodor looked on alert.
Steve stood before them, scratching his nose in an annoying style.
"The girl likes me, is crazy about me."
"That I heard you forced her to tell me to like you. Liking was different from being infatuated," Theodor chimed fiercely. Steve did not respond to the protests which were true.
Steve said, "Don't bother him, tease him or look at him. I'm sorry for this misunderstanding." Steve reached out his hand. Malvyn took a quick glance and gawked, not accepting Steve's apology.
Steve pulls his hand back without being distracted by Malvyn's refusal. "Come, we're going." Steve held Zinia's hand. Zenia looked at her sister's friends with a guilty look.
"Don't lure me," a heavy voice full of threats. Steve tightened his grip, making the girl immediately shift her gaze.
"Your eyes are still sick?"
Zinia just shook her head.
"Jawab if I'm asking."
"No. You blew it. The sand ran away from fear."
Steve roared his smile, amused at the ridiculed reply. "So you like me?"
"L-yes, I like you." Zenia nodded quickly.
"I'm okay?"
"O-okay. Very okay."
"Hmm," Steve raised Zenia's hand for her to kiss the back of her hand.
"I know I'm okay."
