"You need a slick like that. Your face looks so tangled."
Steve just clucked in response to Roxi's teasing him. Currently, the two were conversing through a vidio call. Roxi still settled in Spain, although married, did not necessarily make himself a vacuum from the dark world. It's just that the man watches and monitors more often. Meanwhile, Steve himself chose to resign after feeling the provision is sufficient. He did not want to add to his list of enemies who would attack him later on. Although he did not deny, he missed his enthusiasm when acting on the field. Despite choosing to retreat from the dark world, Steve still has his own place in BD led by Roxi. Steve also could not resist if Roxi needed his help and intervention. Ck! It's the same Steve! You didn't really resign from the black world!
"You haven't found the weakness yet?"
Roxi's question made Steve's face even grim. Like a shoddy plot that dreams of a king's daughter becoming a companion. It is difficult to find a way or a way to achieve that desire, very unlikely.
"No." Short, solid and clear.
"I heard that Riston started to show herself to the surface."
"Yes, it looks like he's working for Brian or maybe Mr. President."
"You should be in their group."
"Sacrificing yourself to the rogues?"
Roxi chuckled at the sarcasm Steve was throwing. "Focus. Focus on one point. Don't let the others take over your mind, Dude."
"Advising is indeed something very easy," Steve said again to make Roxi laugh. Steve is not a man who can take advice. He will only do what he thinks is right. Even while on the field, Roxi is often made emotional because Steve always changes plans in precarious situations. Fortunately, this plan always works.
"Why don't you marry Oleshia. Maybe that way you can make your mind calmer and more focused."
Steve was silent for a moment before responding to Roxi's suggestion. A man he considers like his brother. "I'm gonna consider."
Roxi nodded, "Quite surprised by Steve's reply. Steve was not interested in marriage. "As usual, your money has been sent to your mother and Steve, to this day your mother has not used the money at all. You haven't visited them?"
"I'm afraid to ruin everything."
"Fearful?" Roxi. "Steven Dixton Ivarez, I don't know if you have any fear."
"I miss breaking your nose, Roxi. What if you pay for my invitation to come here?"
Roxi's laugh came off instantly, "I'm coming. Sure. Just waiting for time. Until that day comes, make sure you're done with it."
The call was cut off. Who else would have done it if it wasn't Steve. Without any trite bases at all.
His fingers play the cell phone. Look at the red dot on his phone. The tools he put into Lexi's body functioned perfectly. His mind was piqued, recalling every word that came out of Lexi's mouth. How could a feeling not change at all even after the man died to his knowledge.
"Did he not mean to get married? Or want to be a holy woman, to serve God?" He mumbled softly. Steve shook his head, putting those thoughts away. The thought of Lexi being a holy woman for the rest of the girl's life.
His phone was ringing loudly. Steve refused to answer. If Beth is contacting him, the man always delivers less interesting news.
"What's wrong?" After the second call, he finally answered.
"Sam entered the police station."
"Yes." Yeah."
"Hm."
"alright. I closed the call. If you're curious, Vincent Trey is on duty tonight. Maybe he'll spend the night at the office."
"All right." Steve hung up the phone call. His hand reached the small note on the table. Open the page, staring one by one at the list of names. Steve gave a check mark on Vincent's name and he wrote Lily Oswald's name next to the man's name.
____
Hour 03. 00. Early morning. Police station, New York.
A knock on the shoes swept the floor. Vincent who was working on something was disturbed. He doesn't like this. An annoyed crack slid from his mouth. Not just anyone can enter the room. Where are the other officers? Why let someone else in.
"I want to visit Lily Oswald."
The sound caught his attention. That request is absurd. At midnight? Ck! There is no tomorrow to visit. The pressure from the Neal family who wanted to avenge Lily's actions, was enough to make her headache because from the other side, Darren Willson, asked specifically for her to keep Lily Oswald safe. Darren hasn't spoken to him since they left Yale High School. After speaking, the man posed a threat.
"Back tomorrow." He said half a snarl. Slowly he lifted his head. Manik they meet each other. Vincent gasped at the figure that turned out to be standing before him. With such a thin distance.
"Now. It's urgent."
Vincent stood up from the chair. "I'll drive you."
The two walked side by side, towards the female detention room which was specially placed.
Seeing Vincent's arrival, Lily ran over. "Vincent, get me out of here. Please." There was a glimmer of hope as Vincent opened the bars.
"Please come in." Vincent let in. Lily looked over, only to realize the presence of others.
"You-you? You were in King Axe that night, too, you..."
"Shut your mouth, Miss." A demonic smile slipped from his mouth. "Can you leave us, Mr. Trey." Pinta the man. Vincent nodded, and he locked Lily with the man.
"Call Lexi." Take out the phone, give it to Lily. "If you want to be free, do me a favor, Lily. Vidio's call. You'll be free after this. Not locked up, not imprisoned. Didn't this happen because of Lexi Willson, the princess."
Promised freedom, Lily also received the phone. Pressing down number by number. Call is also connected. It doesn't take long, the call is connected.
"Argghhhhh..." Lily screamed hysterically. It appears that his head is being dunked into the toilet. Lily did something disgusting. Throw away the little water, which he then gulps like a fool. A lit cigarette hurt his face. Lily started screaming hysterically as the cigarette butt landed in the corner of her eye. Burned his eyelashes. "Silver. It's sore. Someone please stop. Lexi's....Lexi's.... You see this. You must suffer. You must suffer. You'll feel the same. Arghhh!! Lily's head looked up. Her hair was pulled out strongly. Bugh! The head was smashed against the wall. He was hysterical. Resisting unbearable pain. "Lexy.... You must die! Go to hell!!!" Call adjudicated.
"God...." A cry made Darren flinch. He immediately blocked the number that contacted Lexi. Fortunately, Lexi did not answer the call. His sister may be mentally re-shaken.
"Darren's? What are you doing here?"
"I can't sleep if you haven't forgiven me." Darren puts Lexi's phone down without the girl realizing.
"Not until you explain what really happened to Olivia's death."
