Terrible Woman

A doctor came out of the room. The doctor's face is enough to describe how Lexi's condition. However, to confirm the condition of the girl, Alena asked.

"How's my daughter doing?"

"It looks like he's been traumatized. His easily shaken psychics further aggravated his condition," said the doctor with a concerned face.

Everything in unison groaned full of regret. This was not only a blow to Willson, but to Percy's married couple as well. There, there was Harry who also looked glum. The man was angry that he could not protect the girl he liked. When Austin came in a state of chaos, they passed. The man ignored his greeting and headed straight for Lexi's room. He should have been suspicious there. But, what he did instead chose to go out to enjoy the night breeze.

"Can I see him?" Alena asked expectantly.

It had been two days since the incident, Lexi did not want to meet anyone, including Steve though and now, the man was not there. Where's she? After taking Lexi to his parents' house, Steve chooses to stay there. But today, the trunk of his nose was nowhere to be seen at all.

"Sorry, Mrs. Willson, Lexi's still not ready to see anyone."

Alena nodded lethargicly. He was sad that he could not hide. Lexi refuses to be taken to their family mansion and chooses to stay at Daphne's and her husband's house. Alena knew this was for Lexi's sake, but her heart still felt pinched. Just like her husband, she felt like a failure as a parent. When the girl fell, she and her husband could not calm her down. What is more sad than this?

"Has he touched the food?" He asked back.

Daphne said Lexi didn't touch her food today. Yesterday, Steve threatened to break down the door if Lexi didn't eat. The threat worked a little. Lexi filled her stomach with just a piece of bread and a little milk. The rest, he just ignored. Lunch and dinner he just missed.

"She drank her milk" the doctor said. "Don't worry about it too much. She's a great girl. It's important for you to take care of your health, too, Mrs. Willson."

"What Mrs said. Lawrence was right," Pax walked over to his wife, embracing her shoulder warmly. Pax understands Alena's anxiety. During these two days, Alena was also unable to sleep. Always crying over the fate of their two children. Why would something like this happen?

"You should think about your health as well. If you're sick, Lexi's gonna get sadder and blame herself." Pax landed a warm kiss on Alena's head.

Alena closed her eyes while laying her head on her husband's chest.

"I want to hug her, apologize to her."

"Yes, we'll do it. Be patient."

"Will he be okay?"

"certain. Lexi is your daughter, you educated her very well. He'll be fine." The words of passion were not only addressed to his wife but also to her.

No one knows how devastated Pax was over this incident. Lexi was the daughter he had cared for wholeheartedly ever since the girl had just been born into this mortal world. Lexi was in her spirits when she was down. Now, when the girl slumped, she could not be by the girl's side. Lexi's scared of them. To Willson. And it was the girl's fear that made Pax dare not imagine anything. But in front of his family, he must look strong, even though his soulmate is currently not okay. Yeah, that's how Lexi was in her eyes.

Steve sat down beside Austin, slipping his legs forward. His eyes glanced at Austin who was holding a bottle of drink. The man's appearance was still chaotic.

Currently, they were in one of the rooftops of the unused building.

"How is he doing?" His voice was raucous and hoarse. The man reached into his pocket and threw it at Steve who the man immediately caught smoothly.

"Not good enough" Steve put the device in his pocket.

"When did you put that thing in my clothes?"

"Beth did it."

Yeah, when Steve went to Austin in Virginia on a trap charge he was being charged with. Austin is so incinerated that he doesn't realize when Beth moves behind him to insert a voice recorder.

Both dissolve in their minds. Austin gulped down his drink and thrust it at Steve while rubbing his mouth violently from the dripping drips.

"It's too early to enjoy alcohol" the man refused, sending a concerned note to Austin.

"Stop that look, otherwise I'll beat you up!"

Steve chuckled, "Your face still leaves evidence of how I beat you mercilessly."

Austin laughed discordantly, "What would happen if you didn't come on time?"

"You must be in the afterlife. Whether it's through my hands or your brother's even Pax Willson."

"Ck! I just saw a brash man like you. You want his daughter but you're being disrespectful to her."

"That damn old man sent me to a very bad and terrible place."

"Don't you ever think that my dad might have a reason for that? No one knows his way of thinking."

Steve was silent, choosing not to answer. Now he grabbed a bottle of drink from Austin's hand and gulped it down violently.

"It's still too early" Austin deliberately mocked her by throwing back what Steve had said just a moment ago.

"Have you heard it?"

Austin sighs. He knew what Steve meant. Sound recordings are attached to his clothes. Austin was unaware of it until yesterday afternoon when he was about to take a shower. It fell and fortunately was not damaged or stepped on by it.

"That's terrible. That woman is terrible."

"I'm sorry" Steve felt guilty. "I don't know if he'll go this far. I'm taking advantage of your interest in him."

"You got what you wanted. This is important for us men not to follow the hormone testosterone that is often misleading. A woman like her would very easily trick us."

Austin stood up, stretching his stiff and tense muscles. Her world was turned upside down in an instant just from being deceived by the beauty of a demonic woman.

"I believe you can take care of Lexi."

"I'd be offended if you doubted me" Steve smiled.

Austin clucked lazily hearing the man's confidence. Without saying anything more, Austin immediately stepped out his foot.

"Where are you going?"

Steve's question stopped Austin's move. The man answered without turning around.

"Eitherway. Wandering maybe."

"Don't want to see your mother?"

"To see the disappointment in his eyes?"

Steve remained silent. I can feel what Austin is feeling. No man can afford to see the disappointed look of a respected and loved woman.
