Hello Arvin!

Hello Arvin!
The Unexpected Visit

Yesterday's event left Nara feeling so exhausted that she didn't want to get out of bed this morning. Just want to lie down and store energy. Even though he was just sitting around, but meeting quite a lot of people and chatting with them drained his energy.

“You're still tired, hmm? It's 5 o'clock in the afternoon. You sleep all day like a sloth. If it still lemes, we go to the doctor aja.” Arvin asked while hugging Nara who was lying down.

“Neventless. I'm doing better. It's good that I'm called a loris!” Nara Protests.

“Finally you took a long nap,” Reply Arvin while chuckling. “What dinner do you want? I'm a delicious masakin,” he continued kissing the top of Nara's head.

“Hmm... Soto Betawi looks good. Pake cow's lung and liver.”

“OK, Princess. I masakin you soto Betawi.”

“Hah? Seriously can you make? Gofood is.”

“Oh you underestimated my cooking ability, did you? Even if I'm cool, handsome, charismatic gini I'm good at cooking traditional food too. Not just western food that is not too spicy.”

“Kok can? You also take Indonesian food courses?”

“Ngak. I studied with a great grandmother who cooks and has a catering business.”

“Wow!” Nara said amazed.

“Yep. You should say wow, because I’m an amazing husband.” Arvin was proud.

“Preet.”

“Dih.”

Nara helps Arvin peel garlic, onions, and potatoes. While Arvin prepares other spices such as cardamom, galangal, bay leaves, cloves, candlenut, cumin, liquid milk, and organ meats that have been washed.

Nara was quite surprised to see the seasonings and food ingredients were quite complete in their kitchen. He doesn't know anything about it at all. Even Arvin is the one who always shop to fill the kitchen needs. Especially after he works from home. All of these things Arvin arranged. Although this man is very bad when faced with clean-up.

Now Nara looks stupid and useless in front of the incredible Arvin. It was like winning a lottery because of having a husband like Arvin. How could he have hated her so much? It seems like karma is at work, now Nara does not want to lose a man like Arvin.

“You love me, don't you, Vin?” Nara asked suddenly while hugging Arvin who was busy processing food from behind.

“Ck... Why do girls like nanyain things that are already obviously like gini?”

“Kan need words of affirmation.”

Arvin sighed, his hands busy stirring the Betawi soto so that the meal did not break.

“I really love you, until bucin is severe. Don't know anymore.”

Nara chuckles at hearing it. “You are disappointed if your wife is not good at cooking like me?”

“Ngak. I can. Even if I no longer have time to cook, we can order online. Do not like old people compartmentalize homework for a wife or husband. I'm not disappointed with things like that, but if you refuse to play wrestling favors I'm just disappointed.”

Nara pinched Arvin's stomach, making him jump in shock and complain.

“Mas Arvin, please pervert reduced!”

“What did you say?”

“What?”

“Yang. Call me Mas Arvin.”

“Mas Arvin.” Nara said with a smile.

“Aaargh! Gemes. Once again!”

“Mas Arvin.” Nara teases Arvin.

“I am pingin tengokin dedek this malem.”

“Do not mess with you! You promised to stop first if my stomach is big.” Nara immediately pouted hearing Arvin's words.

Nara walked towards the front opening the door. His body stared at who was standing at the door. For a few seconds Nara was silent, not believing what she saw.

“You're healthy, deck?” Ahmad looked at his daughter.

Instantly, Nara also hugged the figure in front of her. Crying really. Ahmad just patted his son's back stiffly, not knowing what to react to.

“Ayang, who's date—“ said Arvin following Nara, but immediately stopped when he saw the face of his father-in-law.

Nara finally let go of her embrace. Now they were sitting all three in the living room awkwardly. Nara was still sobbing, even though Arvin had already embraced and calmed her down. Seeing the sight made Ahmad feel strange.

Seeing Nara, whose stomach was already swollen, was in the arms of a man who was still a stranger to her. Ahmad realized that his little girl was an adult. Not his anymore.

“Sorry father yesterday did not participate in the salvation event,” said Ahmad opened the conversation.

Nara shook her head, unable to speak. He still couldn't believe his father was coming home. Alone without anyone standing by. I think something like this is an impossibility. But it's not really. His father actually came to visit him.

“Nothing, Sir. Yesterday was represented by mother and sister Naufal.”

Ahmad smiled briefly. “You're healthy, right? No problem what?”

“We are all healthy, Sir.” Reply Arvin again.

“Thank God you're healthy. I'm here to visit your new home, all by ka—“

“I'm sorry, Mr.” Cut Nara between her cries. “I'm sorry I embarrassed you.” Further.

“Bapak also apologizes for many things, because it cannot be a wise parent and in-law. Don't discuss it anymore, you know you're sorry for what you did. Now the most important thing is that you are responsible and live better.” Speaks soothing.

“Bapak doesn't hate us, does he?”

“Bapak disappointed. But never hate you guys.”

Ja. Ahmad could not hate those children. It was impossible to hate Nara, she was a child that she loved so much. Ahmad is also unable to hate Arvin, although his mistakes are difficult to forgive, Ahmad admitted that his son-in-law treated Nara very well.

“Single father come here?” Tanya Arvin was chatting.

“Dianterin Sobri, keep him home again. I can't ride my motorbike alone here.”

“Emang Kak Naufal where? Why not send it?”

“Mr alone at home. I don't want to go home angry with my father. Had finished your show yesterday mother immediately went to her sister Amel's house in Tangerang with Naufal.”

“So father from yesterday alone?” Ask Nara who has mastered herself.

Ahmad nodded. “Mother is angry because you didn't want to come here yesterday. Father's heart was still hard yesterday.” Reveal it while chuckling.

For some reason now he feels more relieved after seeing his daughter is fine. His heart just melted. Perhaps also because of the longing and regret for leaving Nara just like that in difficult times. Instead of giving room for his son to improve, Ahmad even seemed to abandon him. Give all responsibility to Arvin. Though Ahmad should also be present, punishing and educating Nara to be better.

“You know for yourself what if your mother is angry. Difficult to persuade.”

“Nara is also like that.” Sambar Arvin's.

Ahmad laughed at his daughter-in-law's words.

“Maybe it's a congenital trait of his mother.”

Arvin looks back at the hospitality of Nara's father that he had felt when he first met. A proud father who loves his children. Feelings of regret gathered and piled up in Arvin's heart. So evil did he make the man in front of him hurt, by taking the honor of his daughter. Suddenly a feeling of guilt hit him. It looks like Arvin's whole life won't be able to let go.

Nara feels very guilty now. It must be because her mother and father had a fight. His father was very dependent on his mother. Now he has to stay home alone. He must be lonely now. So I decided to meet Nara.

“Bapak nginep here tonight, how?” Nara said.

Ahmad smiled and nodded.

“Bapak also still want to chat a lot with you.”
